"Resisting Arrest"

Cops arrested a man who had pledged to lead an “armed protest” on Washington on July 4th on a charge of “resisting arrest” when a video of the arrest showed CLEARLY he was NOT resisting. Looks like a “throwaway charge” to me, allowing them to keep him in jail until after the date of his promised demonstration. Obama’s tyranny is becoming OBVIOUS by arresting people to keep them from demonstrating. Arresting a person for “resisting arrest” WITHOUT an accompanying arrest for something else is not only illegal, it is IMMORAL.  How soon are the cops going to come to my house and drag me, a 74-year-old man who can barely walk, out of my house on a “resisting arrest” charge to shut me up? Adam Kokesh is a fool and should not be allowed to lead an ARMED demonstration to Washington. But not to the extent of the COPS breaking the law to stop him. They later charged him with “assaulting a federal officer (probably when he fought back as they were beating him up).” A FELONY that, if it sticks (and it will with cops lying for each other), will put him away for a long time. I watched that video of his arrest and he was NOT resisting. My most telling memory of it was when several fat-gutted cops BARRED others from following them as they left with Kokesh. Did they beat him up so they could charge him with assault? It looked to me like the cops were assaulting HIM. How long before a gang of cops come and arrest ME on a "resisting" charge, beat me up, and charge ME with "assault on a federal officer?" (Fellowship of the Minds)

A "Government Promise"

A “government promise” is one that is never intended to be kept. They “promise” things and, by the time it comes to “pay up.” The people to whom they made the promise are either dead, or so senile they can’t remember the promise ever being made. Then, about 30 years after the “promise” is made, they slowly and quietly take it away. Like the fact that the Social Security number was NEVER to be used as general identification. They even printed RIGHT ON THE SS CARD, “not to be used for identification.” A little over thirty years later they QUIETLY removed that from the SS card while ENCOURAGING people to use the number as “basic identifier.” This is a CLASSIC example of a “government promise” in action. I once refused to give it to them when I went in the hospital and they called "security" to deal with me. I have to give it in many cases to obtain services that are very important to me or I am "turned away." I had to go to three different providers when I went for my first pager because they used that number to locate my file for the "credit service." I finally found one that didn't use it. IRS Misses Filing Deadline!

Congress demanded the IRS file all communications about “targeting” right-leaning groups and gave them a deadline. They missed it. The woman who ran the section of the IRS (Lois Lerner) that “targeted” right-leaning groups like the Tea Parties with hundreds of questions the answers to which they had no right to know is now being asked a few questions by the “oversight committee” in Congress—and refuses to answer, citing the Fifth Amendment. What if I did that when the IRS demanded answers to hundreds of irrelevant questions from me? I’d be in prison. Where the hell does she get off refusing to answer questions? She not only needs to be fired, she needs to go to prison. She says she has not violated any laws but invokes the Fifth Amendment which is to protect people from SELF-incrimination.. That’s after telling “her side of the story.” Doing that cuts off cross examination. She WILL be held accountable in the future. Count on it. (CNS News)

Am I "Tilting At Windmills?"

I write, day after day, to reveal the secrets our pro-socialist (communist, Fascist, Progressivist) government doesn’t want us to know. They don’t even know I exist (Of course, they do, but they don’t count me as important enough to do anything about—yet). They just go on with their depredations, as if I didn’t exist. They do the same with people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and others who get to many more people than I do. It seems like what I, and others do, has NO EFFECT on the progress they make in remaking this country in the Soviet communist image. I’m getting old and tired. It takes more and more out of me to keep “ticky-tacking” at this computer, trying to let you know what your government is doing to you and what your media is keeping from you. It’s not as if I have no material. I have more material than I can ever find the energy to write down. But I’m losing my confidence in the power of truth. Is what I’m doing making ANY difference? I begin to wonder, but I can’t stop, until I am physically UNABLE to continue, which isn’t that far away. (Just common sense)

More Reasons to shut Down UN

Iran has been named to run the UN Conference on DISARMAMENT! The worst violator of human rights AND disarmament! Running the UN Committee ON Disarmament. That’s like naming the FOX to run the committee running the HENHOUSE. Some of the things the UN does convinces me they not only don’t care what we think, they spend all their time trying to figure out ways to p-ss us off. They CAN’T be stupid enough to really think Iran wants to really do anything about nuclear proliferation. (The Blaze)

Murder At the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court MURDERS countless people every day. Chiefly unborn infants who never get a chance at life. How many potential Einsteins were murdered while still in the womb? How many potential GENIUSES will never get a chance to make our lives better? What if Bill Gates had been aborted? What about Steve Jobs? I know; many people think that would be a good thing, but that’s just jealousy. Maybe Gates didn’t INVENT the Internet, but he brought it all together and made it work. What if your mother had aborted YOU?  People say abortion is about “woman’s right to choose what is done with her own body.” Why then, do we not legalize prostitution? That IS about a woman’s right to sell her body if she wishes. Abortion is about ENDING A LIFE. The LIFE of her baby. Where is there concern for that BABY’S rights? The concern for a woman’s rights END when she wants to MURDER her progeny rather than use a rubber when she has sex. Yes, I realize there ARE sometimes reasons where abortion is best to save a life. But it should NEVER be used in place of contraception. There are too many better answers that don’t involve MURDER. A baby is alive as soon as his/her heart starts beating. (Just common sense)

I Thought He Was Waking Up

Just when I thought ultra-liberal comedian Bill Maher was “waking up to reality,” he makes a stupid statement like, “It’s ridiculous, quaint, and nonsensical to think the Second amendment can prevent tyranny.” We don’t, Bill. The Second Amendment is JUST ONE SPOKE in the wheel of liberty; but a major one worth fighting for, even if you don’t think so. It’s symbolic. If we allow them to disarm us, we will be defenseless when criminals (some wearing badges) come for our property. Go back to your comedy show, Bill. Nobody cares about your inane cracks. (The Blaze)

Misplaced Priorities

One of the facets of incompetent governing is spending a lot of time and money on UNIMPORTANT things while other, more important things wait. This is what our government and thus, most of our people are doing: fighting about whether or not gays should get to use the word “marriage” to describe their contractual arrangements to make each other a “spouse” able to take advantage of the same rights and privileges as married couples. They LEGALIZE what used to be ILLEGAL rather than DOING SOMETHING about the incompetence in our government. Incompetence thy name is OBAMA. Obama is spending more money than there IS and gaily printing more every month, using that (Monopoly® money) printed to buy government bonds to make the stock market LOOK like it is going “great guns” to hide it (Now the head of the Fed is resigning to escape responsibility for his counterfeiting operation). And there are many other important things we need to do something about rather than legalizing gay sex. I have nothing against gay sex. That’s THEIR business and I don’t need to get involved. I’m sure the question is very important to THEM. But the existence and financial survival of my government is more important to me. (N Y Times)

Obama Making It Easy for Terrorists

Aside from sabotaging border security at every turn by not only refusing to enforce it, which allows not only Mexicans to come in at will, it also allows Muslim terrorists to come in at will, too, and when they’re caught and imprisoned, he lets them out, gives them new names, and doesn’t put those names on the “no fly” list (or any other list). Now he knows not where about 2,000 of them are. Some of which are no doubt back home, killing people; while others are living quietly here, plotting their killings. Killings such as two Muslim terrorists carried out in Boston recently. One of the killers was a citizen (recently made) from a Muslim country while the other was not. Both were former visa holders who had never showed up at their schools while nobody noticed. Their MOTHER Was well known to be a terrorist sympathizer. Why is Obama doing this? I think he is part of a plot to allow Muslim terrorists to “take over” in the U. S. I think he is a Muslim terrorist, himself, who “came out of nowhere” and conned his way into the presidency (every facet of his background has proven to be false) so as to sabotage efforts to stop terrorism (Who is pulling his strings, I don’t know. George Soros, maybe?). Of course, nobody is going to believe me, so they’ll just keep right on with their plot while calling me a racist and a fool (the usual). A “conspiracy theorist fool;” which makes me glad I won’t be around for most of it, though my children and their children will. I feel sorry for them. I’m simply watching what he DOES, and drawing natural conclusions from it. (Washington Post)

Mallard Does It Again!

One of the things I really like about Tinsley’s “Mallard Fillmore” strip is how he shows the stupidity of government actions in ONE picture. In this one, he highlights the effort to blame EVERYTHING on the Sequestration, no matter how thay have “stretch things.” The same way Rush Limbaugh calls attention to ridiculousness by BEING ridiculous, only with pen on paper instead of over the air. Don't Throw Victim In Closet With His Guns

A thug broke into a man’s house, roughed him up, and threw him in a closet. BIG mistake; that was where he keeps his guns. Next thing they knew, he came out of the closet shooting. He wounded one and the others are still running for the “tall timber.” The neighborhood had suffered several breakins recently, and they thought it would be a good idea to get armed and keep a close lookout on their neighbors. It worked; as it always will. Bad guys take notice: your victim might be armed and WILL kill you! I've seen an increase in this kind of story recently. Maybe it's because 30 some states have made gun ownership more easy. (Houston Chronicle)

Fox Refuses to Cover Obama Crimes

We thought we had a news source that was honest and which we could depend on to tell us what the liberal media ignored. Now we hear that they have categorically REFUSED to cover the story about Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s PROVING Obama has committed many instances of identity theft and identity fraud: “While interviewing the fearless Pastor James David Manning on the Tea Party Power Hour, host Mark Gillar made this astonishing statement: ‘There was someone within Fox News...who actually went to Sheriff Arpaio and Mike Zullo [the leader of Arpaio's Cold Case Posse team investigating Obama's phony birth certificate, strange Connecticut-issued Social Security number] and said: "I am very sorry. I have tried to get Fox News to tell the truth on this. I have looked at your evidence that you presented at your press conferences. I know you have the goods on President Obama. I know that he has multiple cases of document fraud that can be proven in a court of law. I wanted Fox to run a story on that, and they said 'Absolutely no way.' So I am here to apologize to you because my network will not tell the truth." As long as NOT ONE media outlet will cover this story, Obama can get away with "calling us names" and ignoring the story until his terms are over. (Fellowship of the Minds)

I'm NOT "Anti-Cop"

I AM “anti-cops out of control” as in this case. The cops went in and STOLE (bullying their owners) the cell phones that took the pictures of nine (count’ em) NINE cops beating an unprotesting man (Who had long since stopped resisting, if he was at all. That’s a cop’s “knee-jerk” response in cases like this. “He was protesting! So we had to beat him to death!”) to death on the street. Why were they allowed to do this? Taking these phones from their owners WITHOUT a warrant is tantamount to thugs taking evidence of a crime away from witnesses. Cops from the agency where the murders worked should have NOTHING to do with the “investigation” of the incident. It’s too easy for them to destroy evidence in that CRIME, committed by the cops themselves. Those “detectives” (thugs) who came to take the phones should be charged in any crime that is found from this incident. (The Blaze)

Politics? Or Philosophy?

Many people say my blogs are all about politics. I disagree; I think they are all about PHILOSOPHY. But since you can’t divorce the two, I guess they are about that, too. Many people ask the question asked by Ayn Rand in one of her books, “Philosophy: Who Needs It?” The answer is simple: EVERYBODY. Everybody has a “philosophy of life” whether or not they realize it. Those who say they “have no philosophy” don’t realize that IS their philosophy. My philosophy is simple: I make MY OWN decisions. I do not allow others to tell me how to live. I KNOW how to live. I make my own rules. I’m friendly with most everybody until they show me I should not be friendly with them. I give each person a modicum of respect unless they SHOW ME they aren’t worth it; like Obama. People say I should “respect the office.” I disagree. If the man in it is not worth respect, the office he holds is worth NOTHING. (Just common sense)
