"Election by assassination." Today,
Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, along with 20
others who were in range of the explosion following her death (which may have
caused her death) in which the
killer blew himself up. I don't know if Musharraf was responsible for her
assassination, or not but it's a good bet bet some of his supporters are because he was going to lose the upcoming election (unless the terrorists took her at her word and wanted her dead at all costs). He blames
terrorists in which case, he may be next, but what do terrorists have to gain from her death? Of course, that
has never been a problem before. They kill just for the fun of killing. They
even kill their friends and their own children if that will create a chaos
situation, and this certainly does that. I think anybody who would assassinate
someone instead of honestly defeating him/her in an election is the biggest of
cowards and is about as stupid as they come. (
