They fire tear gas and powerful pepper spray into Mexico
to drive off rock-throwing demonstrators IN Mexico. They've been placed close
enough to the border now to be "sitting ducks." One woman who lives
right on the border screamed, "There are CHILDREN living here!" Like
it was our fault. I don't think they should use tear gas and pepper spray.
Those are too widespread and punish everyone in sight. I think they should
shoot the rioters with "non-lethal missiles." "Soft bullets"
that do not kill, but hurt like hell. The rioters are throwing rocks, which can
KILL if they hit you right. The Mexican cops sometimes take HOURS to show up
and RELUCTANTLY run the thugs off. But sometimes they don't show up at all.
These thugs should not be allowed to do that with impunity, but local neighbors
shouldn't be forced to suffer because of these criminals. (Sierra Vista Herald)
