"Drinking the Kool-Aid"

The latest politician (who should know better) to swallow the "global warming" swindle is John McCain. He is one of those who should know better, but many, such as he and Newt Gingrich are "drinking the Kool-Aid" and "buying the bullpoop massive swindler AlGore is putting out while making millions of dollars doing it. It really amazes me that so many people, some who are running for the highest office in the land, aren't as well-informed as I am. I guess they just "don't pay attention to politics" even though politics is their business. Every time I see one of these otherwise intelligent people buying this crap, I lose confidence in his/her knowledge and judgment. (News Max)

Removing Consequences

I've long said that when you remove the consequences for an act, people are going to DO that act and expect to get away with it. The biggest example of this is the "know-nothing do-gooder" who knows nothing about what is going on, but who sticks her/his nose in it anyway. Nothing is a better example than the situation below: "The liberals have been taking away our rights and liberties for years, and this is just another example of this invasion of our privacy. ‘The woman that started this whole thing took offense to a child being spanked for acting bad. She had no idea what was really going on, but she made it her business to butt in. And I will tell you where this whole idea of crap is going to end up. We are going to have, in the future, a generation of hoodlums who have grown up without any idea of what is right and what is wrong. [That's in bold because it's the most important thing in this post. -RT] To them there will be no consequences for their actions, and there will be no stimulus for them to do the right things. The only input that these children will have, is negative input because when they are good, nothing will be said. When they are bad, they will be called victims by the authorities and they will be coddled by the government and taken away from good parents." This is liberalism at work. Fixing What Isn't Broken

That's the "politician's way." They're always promoting things to "fix" something or other, usually something their own policies caused in the first place. But they hope you won't "tumble" to that and will give them more money and more power because you don't know that. The REASON you don't know that is that most of you "don't pay attention to politics" and never notice when they pick your pocket. ."[E]ither Barack Hussein Obama, or Hillary Rodham Clinton will add to the problems by bringing into being more and more government programs that will do nothing but break something that doesn’t need fixing. Then, when the problem gets worse because of their interference, then we will have to have it fixed, when it was okay in the first place. Mark my words here people. Either one of these two people are socialists and would do nothing good for America. And you think things are bad now? Elect them and just wait. Things will get worse. Much worse." Hillary's "On the Ropes"

And she's "in denial." Many people are looking for her to "find a graceful way out" soon, but I wouldn't bet on it. Hillary doesn't have any "quit" in her. I'd bet she'll still be in it until the convention in August, and will make a mighty try to steal the nomination from Obama, who now has surpassed her (if only slightly) in committed delegates. As long as there is ANY chance to wrest the nomination from Obama, she'll be there]. The only thing that will stop her is if (when?) the convention nominates Obama. Then she'll be trying for the VP nomination. Failing that, she'll be a candidate for president in the next election But by then she will have "dumped" her skirt-chasing husband, who will have "lost" several elections for people he has supported. The Stupidest Thing Yet!

I've talked a lot about the stupidity of liberals, but the idea that people can vote without proving their identities with picture IDs is one of the stupidest things liberals have ever done (And many Republicans agree with them). Without this requirement, ANYBODY can vote, including people who are not only not citizens, but who are here illegally, as well. Ignorance is simply the lack of information. Stupidity is refusing to accept the truth when the proof is in front of your nose. That this describes liberals is obvious. (News Busters)

Rev. Wright Seeks Revenge for Obama's "Betrayal"

"The Rev. Jeremiah Wright wouldn’t mind seeing Barack Obama’s presidential campaign derailed--that's how angry he is over his former parishioner’s “betrayal” of their long relationship, the New York Post reports. 'After 20 years of loving Barack like he was a member of his own family, for Jeremiah to see Barack saying over and over that he didn’t know about Jeremiah’s views during those years, that he wasn’t familiar with what Jeremiah had said, that he may have missed church on this day or that and didn’t hear what Jeremiah said, this is seen by Jeremiah as nonsense and betrayal,' a source with ties to Wright told the Post’s Fredric Dicker. 'Jeremiah is trying to defend his congregation and the work of his ministry by saying what he is saying' and 'doesn’t care if he derails Obama’s candidacy or not.'  (News Max)" Really. It has seemed to me from the start that Wright's purpose from the beginning was the "derailing" of Obama's bid for the presidential nomination and election because a black presidential nomination, and especially a black president would have "put the lie" to everything he's been preaching for years. He couldn't afford that. It's funny how he's "spinning it" to make himself the "victim" here. But that's the liberal way, and Wright is no conservative.
