Every day, in every way,
Hillary Clinton (and Barack Obana) show their ignorance on energy by their
proposals for even more taxes on oil. Higher taxes are the answer for liberals
ANY time, whether they will solve (not) or exacerbate (make worse) the problem.
They talk about "recouping the oil money" by an "excessive
profits tax" based on the price of a barrel of oil (Now, THAT'LL really
help!). Does anybody think American citizens will ever see a PENNY of the money
they collect that way? It's all about putting more of OUR money in the pockets
of politicians and bureaucrats to spend as THEY see fit. She even wants to
create an "Energy Czar" if she actually manages to be elected
president (which I doubt will happen, and pray I'm right). That's just what we
need. A bureaucrat whose entire job is to harass oil producers (Way to punish
those we NEED for doing their jobs, against all the "rules and
regulations" bureaucrats can come up with to hinder them!). It's amazing
to me that people like her, who aren't even as well-informed as I am, can run
for president and be seriously considered by the public. (The New York Sun)
