He may be dying. Should
all the doctors and nurses "swim away" and leave him to die, as he did
his pregnant girlfriend at Chappaquiddick? I'm sorry. I have no sympathy for
this jerk, who has always been a jerk to me, even before he did this. I
remember a "died-in-the-wool" Democrat of the time, crowing over the
fact that Kennedy had "only lost ONE PERCENT in the polls" because of
Chappaquiddick!" I wanted to punch him. This told me a lot about liberal Democrats, just when I
was beginning to learn about them. I just sat through a half hour of people
"spinning" Kennedy's "career," saying nothing but
"good things" about him, with not a single mention of Chappaquiddick
or his tendency to make a "waitress sandwich" with his rich, rowdy
friends, his alcoholism and its affect on his politics, and his adherence to socialism. Somebody needs to
put things in perspective. They're treating him like a "head of
state" who has just died (even Fox). It's like Kennedy in the hospital is
the ONLY news out there.
