Comic Strips

They should really stay out of politics because nobody knows when they set up their "funnies" with lies, as did "Rudy Park" when his writer set up a "debate" between the "resident ol'bat," "Dr. Sadie" and Rush Limbaugh. She tries to convince people that Rush ". . .is brutal (he isn't), and will say anything (he doesn't). He has no conscience (he does), he lies and manipulates (he does not). Nobody can know if he is serious, or simply setting up a "punch line" in a later strip, but knowing this strip, I'd say he is serious, even if it is a lie. He is even so far behind he thinks Rush is still fat. Meanwhile, "Prickly City" does a strip where a "doom" character demands to know, "how can you continue to question humans' role in global warming? It's accepted doctrine." But it's not, and even if it was, it used to be "accepted doctrine that the sun orbited the Earth, that the world was flat, etc." Which pretty well kills the "global warming swindle" promoted by scam artist AlGore, but does anybody think he and his "disciples" will shut up? Not a chance. They're not interested in the truth. They just want your money and more power. (Just common sense)

Appeasement: "Repeatedly Discredited by History"

You can always tell when "the truth hurts" with a liberal (Democrat), because they "scream to high heaven." If what you said didn't bother them, they keep quiet. They're "the appeasers of history." Wanta bet it was a Democrat Senator Bush was talking about that wanted to "talk to Hitler" to "avoid all this?" Liberals know--unless they've been ignoring history--that appeasement does not work. And if they've been ignoring history, they have no business running for high office. "But in reality," says Ann Coulter, "when talking to a lunatic without having first bombed him into submission, the only possible result is appeasement. Any talk with Hitler, or a McHitler like Ahmadinejad, that does not include handing over Czechoslovakia or Israel, like a game show parting gift, is going to be a relatively brief chat. Churchill knew that before Chamberlain went to Munich. But a lot of Britons then, like a lot of Americans today, refused to see that blindingly obvious point." How much more plain can you be? But Obambi (as she calls Obama), Hillary, and other liberals won't see it. They will continue not to see it until some low-ranked terrorists beheads them after their policies allow him to not only get into the United States, but close enough to strike. She says further, "President Bush described such people perfectly with his reference to Sen. William Edgar Borah, the one who said World War II could have been avoided if only he could have talked to Hitler. Liberals refuse to learn from history because they put their hands over their ears and tell themselves over and over again: 'Hitler was different.' " Senator Borah was a Republican, but a well-known LIBERAL Republican. We have liberal Republicans, even today. So being a Republican doesn't mean a thing. Idiocy is idiocy, in whatever party it resides. A good example is McCain. (Ann Coulter)

Exploiting Tragedy

Rush Limbaugh asks: "Will the Democrats exploit Teddy Kennedy's health problems like they did Wellstone's death?" A "rhetorical question," of course. We KNOW they will. In fact, if Teddy dies before the election it will be worth many votes to the Democrats. They'd never say so, but it's the truth. They have a habit of exploiting everything they can. Such things as CHILDREN, who haven't lived long enough to know ANYTHING selling their toys to give the money to Hillary's campaign and her KEEPING it; or children holding bake sales and sending the money to Bill, who also kept it. Teddy is probably worth more to them dead than alive, now. They'll "jump up and down" because I said that, mostly because it is the truth, and they can't stand someone telling the truth about them. (Just common sense)

Illegal Democrat Ad

Remember that ad where Democrat Nancy Pelosi sat on a couch with Newt Gingrich, to tell the world Newt has "bought" the enviro-crazies' crap about global warming when REAL science has found that the world is actually "cooling:?" That ad destroyed any credibility I might have attributed to Newt. But moreover, it was ILLEGAL, since it appeared in Nancy's constituency a month before a contested election (McCain-Feingold). Does anybody expect anybody to do anything about it? Don't hold your breath unless "turning blue" is your thing. If they do, she might quietly pay a small fine and the liberal press will dutifully ignore it, as usual. (News Max)

Blaming "Big OiL"

They're "lynching" the "big oil CEOs" again today in Washington, when they should be "lynching" themselves. They're doing their usual thing, blaming the oil companies for high oil prices when it is the "environmental crazies" who influence their votes who should be blamed for not allowing a single oil refinery to be built in the United States or anywhere it controls things, not allowing ANY oil drilling or even a search for oil within the United States. It's silly for this country NOT to be the biggest producer of oil in the world. We've certainly got the reserves underground if the environmental crazies would let us get to it. Their tactics are miserable in their efforts to block ANY effort to drill for oil in the U. S. or anywhere we "make the rules." An example is ANWR, where they claim the entire territory is a "winter wonderland" when the area in which we want to drill is like a bar of soap in the corner of a football field--and that particular area is NOT a "winter wonderland." It's like a frozen desert where nobody lives, or wants to live--except for animals, which would do better if we were there. But you'll never get them to admit that, even if positive proof is placed in front of their faces. They blame the oil companies to get people's minds off THEIR obstinate refusal to allow us to get at OUR OWN oil. They make such cracks as "America is 'addicted' to foreign oil," as if it was OUR FAULT the world's demand (with China and other populous countries using a lot more than before) has outstripped the supply. We can't even REFINE it if we could get it out of the ground, since environmentalist crazies have seen to it that not a SINGLE oil refinery has been built in more than 30 years. It amazes me that otherwise intelligent people (such as George Bush) can't see this. (Real Clear Politics)

One Veto Coming Up

They may have a "veto-proof" majority to pass this bill over Bush's wishes, but they're not going to be able to blame their excesses on him after doing it. According to Democrats, everything bad that happens is "Bush's fault." But they're not going to be able to sell it this time as they overspend our money with their socialistic notions. (Yahoo News)
