This is Liberalism

Take a "molehill" and make a "mountain" out of it to advance your agenda. Take something that could have been "taken care of" with maybe a small fine and threaten the "perp" with jail. They probably want to "seize" his car too, for not mowing his lawn as often as they think he should. They seem to think they have that right because they're doing the mowing in a lot of cases (mostly in foreclosures). Seems to me that simply billing the homeowner for the cost of mowing would be sufficient, and even could be a "revenue enhancement" for the city. But NOOO. They want to put them in jail. Doesn't the Constitution prohibit "cruel and unusual punishment?" (WKYC)

Best Defense is an Offense

And there's nobody more offensive than Hugo Chavez. He has been accused of "working with the terrorists" so he is now accusing the United States (his favorite enemy) of "spying on him." I suppose he wants us to believe his people are not spying on US. If he is "working with the terrorists," there's nothing better than an accusation of "spying" to frighten the liberals in our government into making sure none of our planes over flies his "sacrosanct" country. Actually, spying on him is a good idea, just as spying on Saddam was a good idea and told us he was a lot bigger threat than he appeared to be. (Breitbart)
