No Smoking At Airports

There is a move afoot to "quietly" ban smoking in airports that is growing at an alarming rate. What they don't think about is that, unlike casinos, bars, or restaurants, there is NO WAY a smoker can "go outside" to smoke once they enter the "security area." People are more and more telling us what we can, and cannot do, everywhere, based upon their own opinion as to "what is good for us." I don't smoke, but I resent the fact they think they know more about what is "good for me" than I do. They drag out that tired, old lie about "second-hand smoke," which was proven to be false by no less than the World Health Organization (WHO), before they killed publication of the study and increased their propaganda that "second-hand smoke" is bad for you. I think they should just leave us alone. But they never will. They're having too much fun telling us what to do. (Hotel Interactive)

They Just Won't Admit Defeat

Even if they have to lie. But of course, lying is no problem for Damnocrats. This is what "Queen Bee" Nancy Pelosi said about the success of the "Surge": PELOSI:  Some of the success of the surge is at the goodwill of the Iranians. They decided in Basra when the fighting would end. They negotiated that cessation of hostilities." The Iranians!" The IRANIANS! Last I heard, the Iranians were "fanning the fires" in Iraq. They were training terrorists, supplying them, and sending them into Iraq, hoping to make things worse! The idea that Iran is "helping the Surge" work better is ludicrous! But then, Nancy has always been ludicrous, as well as stupid. (Rush Limbaugh)

What Could Be Worse?

I used to think there could be nothing worse than Obama OR Hillary as president. No more. Now we have the specter of having BOTH of them. Hillary, according to the liberal news media, has suggested that "If it will help the Democrats, I'd take the vice-president spot." Gawd! The horror! Obama as president and Hillary as vice-president. Talk about a "blueprint for socialism!" You think we'd progress toward socialism (collectivism) fast under one or the other, think about how fast we'll move under BOTH. The big problem I see is that even if we only get McCain, we'll still move toward socialism, only slower. (Huffington Post)

European Stupidity

Not all Europeans are stupid or ignorant. But enough are that socialist governments are still the kind they vote for, to their detriment. Every once in a while, they amply demonstrate their ignorance, as they have in this case in Austria, where they're trying to get a MONKEY declared "a person" so somebody can help him after his "home" is required to close. What's next? A mountain lion declared "human?" You can't even kill wild animals who attack you and your property in AMERICA. So Is this what's next for us? (London Evening Standard)

Disarming America

Does Obama really think the "way to peace" is through disarming America? That's pretty much what ALL liberals think. They think the "bullies" of the world will go away if we just prove to them we aren't a threat. Life doesn't work that way. The only reason for a bully to "go away" in real life is if you beat them within an inch of their lives with a baseball bat. If you disarm yourself, they'll think you're weak and beat you up some more. Or if the bully is a dictator, he'll just kill you. "Anti-gun freaks" are constantly braying that we need to "get rid of guns" and they hope that'll solve the problem. But it won't, because gun-wielding criminals don't obey laws. To take guns away from their intended victims is to give them an unlimited supply of "easy targets." It doesn't work. It amazes me that people who THINK they're smart enough to "run things" and tell us all what to do and how to do it just can't understand this simple thing. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There are many "simple things" they don't understand, although they'll never admit it. They probably aren't even smart enough to know it. (Rush Limbaugh/Barack Obama)

The Commencement Speech That Never Was

Neal Boortz, radio host, wrote this "commencement speech" specifically because nobody has ever asked him to give it at any school. Why? Because it doesn't contain any of the "homilies" you usually find in such addresses. He had the gall to actually tell the truth about what awaited them in the "outside world." And no school wants them to be told. They want them to find out for themselves. Of course, this speech has had a lot bigger audience than any other "commencement speech" before or after it. It has been in one of his books, produced in a limited edition CD, and recited on the Rush Limbaugh Show. Read it and see if it ISN'T the truth. (Neal Boortz)
