He Thought It Wouldn't "Get Out!"

Father Pfleger offered an "apology" about his vicious remarks about Hillary at Rev. Wright's old church, where he sounded just like Wright. But notice, he didn't "apologize" for his remarks. He was "sorry they got out." Maybe if he had known his remarks would "get out," he'd have lied about what he believes. What a phony! I've never run into this kind of preacher in any church I've attended. Maybe this church just attracts such people. The only ones I've ever heard preach from the Bible, not from politics. Or maybe I was just not paying attention.  (Daily Herald)

"Can't Get A Fair Trial"

New York Mayor Bloomberg filed a "junk lawsuit" against a Georgia gun dealer in spite of a federal law against such suits and the "subject" of the suit "defaulted" on this suit because he knew he could not get a fair trial in this court, sending this suit to federal court, where he felt he could. Maybe Mayor Bloomberg needs to find himself in trouble for ignoring this federal law, unless they "forgot" to append any "punishment phase" to the law. Often they make such laws without specifying punishment, so they can say they helped pass such a law, knowing the law would not do anything if no punishment is specified. I'll be watching this case to see what happens, both to the "victim" and to Mayor Bloomberg. (SAF)

Osam...er, Obama Better Watch His Back!

The Clintons have shown that they will not be thwarted, in ANYTHING. There is a long list of people who have died, often under mysterious circumstances when they were about to "get in the way" of the ambitions of a Clinton. Often just before they were to give damaging testimony against Bill or Hillary. One even "committed suicide" by shooting himself TWICE in the head, with either shot causing instantaneous death. Now that she has lost the primary, there is talk of Hillary being on the ticket in the second spot. I'd have thought she would never consent to be "on the bottom," unless she expected something to happen to the guy "up top." Remember, the vice-president is "only a breath (death) away" from becoming president. After being defeated in a primary election she thought was "her right" to win, there's only one way she can ever become president (before she's too old) and that's for Obama to die or disappear entirely. I'm not saying SHE would kill him or have him killed, but someone who wants her to be president might. Democrats call an Obama-Hillary ticket a "dream ticket." But I call it a "nightmare ticket." Even if he doesn't get killed, think about Bill and Hillary in the White House with not a lot to do. (The Brody File/CBNNews)

No Smoking At Airports

There is a move afoot to "quietly" ban smoking in airports that is growing at an alarming rate. What they don't think about is that, unlike casinos, bars, or restaurants, there is NO WAY a smoker can "go outside" to smoke once they enter the "security area." People are more and more telling us what we can, and cannot do, everywhere, based upon their own opinion as to "what is good for us." I don't smoke, but I resent the fact they think they know more about what is "good for me" than I do. They drag out that tired, old lie about "second-hand smoke," which was proven to be false by no less than the World Health Organization (WHO), before they killed publication of the study and increased their propaganda that "second-hand smoke" is bad for you. I think they should just leave us alone. But they never will. They're having too much fun telling us what to do. (Hotel Interactive)

They Just Won't Admit Defeat

Even if they have to lie. But of course, lying is no problem for Damnocrats. This is what "Queen Bee" Nancy Pelosi said about the success of the "Surge": PELOSI:  Some of the success of the surge is at the goodwill of the Iranians. They decided in Basra when the fighting would end. They negotiated that cessation of hostilities." The Iranians!" The IRANIANS! Last I heard, the Iranians were "fanning the fires" in Iraq. They were training terrorists, supplying them, and sending them into Iraq, hoping to make things worse! The idea that Iran is "helping the Surge" work better is ludicrous! But then, Nancy has always been ludicrous, as well as stupid. (Rush Limbaugh)

What Could Be Worse?

I used to think there could be nothing worse than Obama OR Hillary as president. No more. Now we have the specter of having BOTH of them. Hillary, according to the liberal news media, has suggested that "If it will help the Democrats, I'd take the vice-president spot." Gawd! The horror! Obama as president and Hillary as vice-president. Talk about a "blueprint for socialism!" You think we'd progress toward socialism (collectivism) fast under one or the other, think about how fast we'll move under BOTH. The big problem I see is that even if we only get McCain, we'll still move toward socialism, only slower. (Huffington Post)
