Gore Hates It When Truth Told

He says, "John Christy," (who wrote a piece dissenting from his views for the "Wall Street Journal" "no longer belongs to the IPPC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and is way outside the scientific consensus." What twaddle THAT is! Just because Gore says so? Because Christy doesn't agree with him, he is "out side the scientific consensus?" What he's saying is, "I've excommunicated him from my religion, so don't listen to him, even if the facts are on his side." They asked him about Christy's article and he said, "There are still people who believe that the Earth is flat, but when you’re reporting on a story like the one you’re covering today, where you have people all around the world, you don’t take--you don’t search out for someone who still believes the Earth is flat and give them equal time." And why not? Gore himself thinks "the Earth is flat" and they give HIM "equal time." He just hates it when TRUTH gets in the way of his swindle and he thinks people who disagree with him should be gelded and thrown in the trash heap. Gore thinks he is, or should be "the last word" on "climate science," even though he has NO expertise and has to rely on "junk science" to "prove" his claims and keep the millions coming into his bank account. It amazes me that many otherwise intelligent people "buy" his fantasies. (Think Progress)

"Our Lives, Our Fortunes, Our Sacred Honor"

Do you think these are "hollow words," not taken seriously by the "Founders" of this great country? Read the transcript of this speech, by the father of today's "top patriot," Rush Limbaugh, detailing what happened to many of the Founders, their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. See what happened to many of them and their families at the hands of the British, who saw them only as "traitors." Today, people like Barack Obama want to paint "patriotism" as "criticizing your country" because of this. But what patriotism REALLY is, is "love of country," whether or not it is governed properly, as it was not, at the time of the Declaration of Independence. Patriotism is NOT "criticizing your country," but realizing its strengths AND weaknesses and not being afraid to mention both. Obama and his ilk only count "criticism" of our country as patriotism. I disagree, and I question HIS patriotism. I know he will "bristle" if he ever reads this, but I don't care. Even if (ESPECIALLY if) he ever gets to be president. He is a socialist, and if you don't know what that is, and why it is bad, look it up in a dictionary. (Rush H. Limbaugh, Jr.)

Spending $50 Billion on a Myth

"It is very unlikely that there will be a 'heterosexual epidemic' outside Africa, the director of the World Health Organization, told London's Independent newspaper. His bosses at the United Nations issued an official denial - but couldn't truly challenge his science." The myth of a heterosexual AIDS epidemic is now out. The director of WHO (who should know) says so. The United Nations, (who get to spend the $50 million, denied it. It's only your money, but they want it to spend, because money is power--and they revere power over all else. AIDS is one of the best-paying swindles going, outside of global warming, and they want to keep it going. They'll probably do an AlGore and declare this man as "outside the mainstream" to keep the bucks coming. Like global warming, it's a myth, but one that won't go away because too many people are depending on it to make them rich and/or powerful (I can't name this official because Town Hall thinks his name is "inappropriate language" and won't let it by). Jesse Helms Dies

He was a stalwart patriot to the end. Yes, he WAS a racist when it was "the thing" to be racist in the South. But he is not a racist now. Hell; I used to be a LIBERAL. The same kind of liberal I now fight bitterly. But I learned better, and so did Jesse. Someone once advised him to compromise, to which he replied, "Compromise, hell! ... If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?" He's right. One should NEVER compromise his PRINCIPLES, and to compromise with liberals on the human condition would make a hypocrite out of him. No matter what you called him if you didn't agree with him, he could never (truthfully) be called a hypocrite. (Yahoo News)

"Government Authorized" Fredoms

It seems like many people think the Constitution gives us "government authorization" to exercise our rights. Not so. The Constitution does two things. It CREATED this government and told it what it could, and could NOT do. In the Bill of Rights, it told it ONLY what it could NOT do. It do and did not "authorize" us to have some rights; it simply RECOGNIZED that we HAD those rights when we were born, whether or not we believed in God. But those "rights" have been slowly eroded over the years and this article tells us how many "rights" we no longer have, and have allowed the government to "strip away" from us. (Freedom of Speech)

Drive 55 (Again)

They tried it in the seventies during that "contrived" gas shortage and it didn't work because people continued to drive faster and cops, who "felt for them" ignored it. Most cops drove faster than that, even when not on a run. If you DO "drive 55," and you're in the center lane, you'll soon feel like a "rock in a stream" as you get passed on both sides. The same thing happens to me as I drive at the 75 MPH speed limit in some places. Driving 55 will not produce more oil. It will not have a single effect on the environment. It MIGHT save you a little money. But increasing oil production in this country and allowing new oil refineries to be built will save you more, as gas prices come down. Liberals always try and get YOU to "change your way of living" to advance their pet projects, and "knock" you when you don't. "Driving 55" won't work this time, either. But it will take you a lot longer to get where you're going, which will COST you more money than you'll save in gas cost. (Wired)

You Won't, Either!

"A Democratic Party official and her husband are facing charges in connection with alleged satanic rituals involving the kidnap, rape and starvation of another couple in North Carolina. Joy Johnson, 30, a vice-chairwoman of the Durham County Democratic Party and vice chairwoman of the Young Democrats, made an appearance in court yesterday after she and her spouse, Joseph Craig, were arrested Friday." A Democrat caught in a sex scam? And you wonder why you didn't see it in the liberal news media? C'mawn! They consider such things as a "resume enhancement." It's not news (unless you're part of the "alternative news media"). They only reported about Barney Frank's boyfriend's gay whorehouse being run out of Barney's apartment because they HAD to. They had to because the "alternative media" had already "scooped them." They'll keep this as a LOCAL story if they can, and "brush it off" if they can't. (World Net Daily)
