Oil Prices Jump?

Iran Fires off a few feeble missiles "doctoring" pictures to make themselves look "badder," hoping to frighten people into not attacking them, but in actuality, HASTENING any attacks that might have been planned--and "oil prices went up." Is there ANYTHING that can happen in the world that will NOT cause oil prices to go up? I guess it's a little like "man-made global warming." Just about anything that happens, to those who push that swindle, is "because of global warming." (Yahoo News)

Blaming All the Wrong People

On the page I used in another post, there was an ad asking you to vote on whom you blamed for the gas crisis. Then they published a picture of an Arab, George Bush, and an emblem of "Big Oil." Where was the picture of the greedy liberal politicians and environmental extremists who have made policies GUARANTEED to REDUCE the supplies of oil in this country (not allowing ANY new gasoline refineries to be built in more than 30 years, while disallowing oil drilling anywhere in this country)? Talk about "blaming all the wrong people!" (News Max)

We've Lost A Good Man

Even those who didn't agree with his conservatism agree he was just that: a "good man." Tony was "a good guy" and everybody loved him. This is not just a repetition of the same kind of remarks always made about someone who dies, whether or not you hated him. Most people truly DID like him. It's too bad cancer sometimes robs us of "great people" like Snow. I'm a lot sadder about his passing than I will be about Teddy Kennedy's upcoming death from cancer. But then Tony didn't swim off and leave his pregnant girlfriend to die, and then go on to continue a Senate career, being there "forever,"  becoming an obstacle to all that is good. Actually, I'm not anxious for Teddy to die, but apparently that's the only way we'll be rid of some people. If anybody is "offended" by my opinion of this man, too bad. Let him go out and find a liberal blog to read. (Fox News)

We Want to Help But They Won't Let Us!

The cyclone in Myanmar (formerly Burma) killed thousands of people, most of whose rotting corpses are still lying where they fell, because the Myanmar government won't allow outside help to come in the country. I'm glad I don't live in such a country; one that cares not about its citizens, only about itself. One of the ways they make money there is through tourism, and I hope that business dies a horrible death, just as thousands of their people did. If you don't believe it, just go there (if you can) and take a walk. You'll see many rotted corpses and skeletons. Somebody needs to add the government officials who allowed this to take place to those found along the road. I had to hunt for this coverage. Apparently most news outlets don't consider this much of a story. (AFP)

It IS "All in Your Mind!"

Phil Gramm said, recession is "all in your mind." That we are a "nation of whiners." He's right. We ARE a "nation of whiners," most of them liberals, and those they've convinced. Recessions and depressions have ALWAYS been "in our minds." People start talking about "the coming recession" and soon they believe one is coming, so they stop spending and investing their money, making it unavailable. Soon they create that dreaded "wage-price spiral" that raises prices, which only adds to the delusion. The liberal Democrats have been telling us for a long time (since the Republicans have held the White House) that a "recession is coming" and now it is. You can bet that if a Democrat gets in the White House, such talk will end abruptly. Obama is poo-pooing Gram, saying "Do you think the high gas prices are in your imagination?" He really thinks we're that stupid. High gas prices are REAL, and are just ONE symptom of what I'm talking about. Talk of an imaginary recession inevitably CAUSES a real recession. Thass' the fact, Jack! (CBS News)

Gay Militants Sue Bible

It's not enough for militant gays to push their lifestyle onto non-gay people, now they are SUING Bible-producers for "anti-gay" statements. They "had the audacity" to criticize the gay lifestyle, so the militant gays want to punish them. The guy who is suing them (the "front") says they "misinterpreted" the Bible and caused him much "pain." About $70 million dollar's worth, apparently. Militant gays are apparently not satisfied with "inventing" a phrase, "homophobia," that imputes mental disability to ANYONE who criticizes gay people or being gay. Now they want to punish the writers of the Bible for telling us (rightly) that "being gay is a sin." Maybe this guy disagrees with this notion. But if he is granted the right to "censor" the Bible, we will have lost a lot in this nation, I don't care what his sexual inclination is. For that matter, I don't care what he and others do behind closed doors, but I will not allow him, or anyone else, to push it onto me or mine. Now, if he wants to sue me for that or call me a "homophobe," let him. I don't give a damn. (News Max)

Bloomberg: Clean Out Your Own House!

Mayor Bloomberg doesn't have to go far to find gun mismanagement of firearms inventories, Just go downstairs to his own Police Property Room, according to CCRKBA: “If Mayor Bloomberg wants to find mismanagement of a firearms inventory,” Gottlieb stated, “he doesn’t need to send goon squads to Georgia, the Carolinas, and Virginia or anywhere outside of his jurisdiction. All he really needs is to do is visit the police property room in Manhattan and turn his lawyers loose." He sent people all over the country to find out how easy it was to get a gun in different areas, but apparently, he can't control things in his own city. Maybe he ought to realize that making laws saying criminals can't carry guns don't mean much to criminals, who break laws every day. Sheesh! What stupidity! (CCRKBA)
