Oil Prices Jump?

Iran Fires off a few feeble missiles "doctoring" pictures to make themselves look "badder," hoping to frighten people into not attacking them, but in actuality, HASTENING any attacks that might have been planned--and "oil prices went up." Is there ANYTHING that can happen in the world that will NOT cause oil prices to go up? I guess it's a little like "man-made global warming." Just about anything that happens, to those who push that swindle, is "because of global warming." (Yahoo News)

Blaming All the Wrong People

On the page I used in another post, there was an ad asking you to vote on whom you blamed for the gas crisis. Then they published a picture of an Arab, George Bush, and an emblem of "Big Oil." Where was the picture of the greedy liberal politicians and environmental extremists who have made policies GUARANTEED to REDUCE the supplies of oil in this country (not allowing ANY new gasoline refineries to be built in more than 30 years, while disallowing oil drilling anywhere in this country)? Talk about "blaming all the wrong people!" (News Max)

We've Lost A Good Man

Even those who didn't agree with his conservatism agree he was just that: a "good man." Tony was "a good guy" and everybody loved him. This is not just a repetition of the same kind of remarks always made about someone who dies, whether or not you hated him. Most people truly DID like him. It's too bad cancer sometimes robs us of "great people" like Snow. I'm a lot sadder about his passing than I will be about Teddy Kennedy's upcoming death from cancer. But then Tony didn't swim off and leave his pregnant girlfriend to die, and then go on to continue a Senate career, being there "forever,"  becoming an obstacle to all that is good. Actually, I'm not anxious for Teddy to die, but apparently that's the only way we'll be rid of some people. If anybody is "offended" by my opinion of this man, too bad. Let him go out and find a liberal blog to read. (Fox News)

We Want to Help But They Won't Let Us!

The cyclone in Myanmar (formerly Burma) killed thousands of people, most of whose rotting corpses are still lying where they fell, because the Myanmar government won't allow outside help to come in the country. I'm glad I don't live in such a country; one that cares not about its citizens, only about itself. One of the ways they make money there is through tourism, and I hope that business dies a horrible death, just as thousands of their people did. If you don't believe it, just go there (if you can) and take a walk. You'll see many rotted corpses and skeletons. Somebody needs to add the government officials who allowed this to take place to those found along the road. I had to hunt for this coverage. Apparently most news outlets don't consider this much of a story. (AFP)
