Durbin Wants More Power

He, like all liberals, thinks he is smarter than the "average citizen" and wants to be able to "control" oil speculators, whom he mistakenly (purposely) blames for the high gasoline and oil prices to keep us from realizing that he, along with his "environmental crazy" friends are the ones REALLY responsible with their ban on offshore drilling and the regulations that have made it impossible to build a new oil refinery in the United states while they're allowing ETHANOL refineries to be built by the hundreds. If you can't allow one kind of a refinery to be built, why another? The answer is because the ethanol refineries fit into their preconditions. The oil refineries don't. (Café Hayek)

He Says He Didn't Kill Her

As usual, this Islamic terrorist (who came to Israel to kill, maim, and kidnap) blames the Israelis for her death, saying she was killed by the Israelis when they tried to rescue her, both accusing them of murder AND incompetence. But they're going to "turn him loose" to kill more Israelis, so they can get a few of their own back. In other words, kidnapping works for the Palestinians. This bloody murderer will now be free and we will no doubt hear his name again in connection with bloody murders of innocent people (Maybe they can watch him closely and kill him this time when they catch him in the act of killing innocents instead of putting him in prison). It's too bad her father wasn't armed when this man and others broke into their home on a killing rampage. Maybe he would, instead, be dead, instead of being released to kill again. (Yahoo News)

What is WRONG With These People?

Everybody wants to blame everybody BUT the ones responsible for the high fuel prices. They blame "speculators," who do nothing to affect prices and make money whether the prices go up OR down as long as they guess right; they blame "big oil," who have nothing to do with setting prices, and are as much of a victim as we are--except they get to "pass it on.". Anybody but those who ARE responsible. Sure; the oil companies are making money anyway. But the GOVERNMENT is making MORE money, without ANY investment. No time, no money, nothing. But they make more PROFIT from fuel prices that the fuel providers do, after the fuel companies deduct the cost of bringing it to market. The GOVERNMENT created this problem by BANNING oil exploration and drilling in most of America and making it almost IMPOSSIBLE to build new oil refineries. Consequently, there have been NONE built in more than 30 years! Meanwhile, they've allowed the building of HUNDREDS of ETHANOL refineries. Why? Because they LIKE Ethanol and hate oil. Meanwhile, we suffer, and they blame EVERYTHING on George Bush, the only president in recent years who is not afraid to DO something about our problems instead of just TALKING about them. Strengthening Communist China

If you want the world to take Communist China more seriously while American liberals tout the "good things" about them, just pay attention to the Chinese Olympics. They're trying very hard to make themselves look like your average, everyday Olympic sponsor country, but they can't help themselves. They arrest everybody who opposes their communist rule and put them in jail. Some (many, actually), they kill and sell their organs. They even build their "execution centers" and medical centers close together to make it easier to "harvest" the organs and get them into medical hands so as to maximize the financial return (To make more money on killing prisoners and "harvesting" their organs).They've even ADMITTED it! "Speaking at a national conference of transplant surgeons in Guangzhou last week, Vice-Minister of Health Huang Jiefu admitted, 'Apart from a small portion of traffic victims, most of the organs from cadavers are from executed prisoners,' according to the China Daily, a state-run English-language newspaper published in Beijing." This is the kind of thing you can expect in a country run by communists (socialists) who care not about their citizens except for what they can gain from them. Many, if not most of those "prisoners" are "prisoners" simply because they wouldn't keep their mouths shut. This is the direction in which this country is moving, whether or not you believe it. Is that what you want? The Olympics, coming from this massive "prison," is a travesty and we should ignore it completely. Let the competitors compete and get their medals. But stay at home and keep your admission and travel money in your pocket. Hopefully, this will cause China to be the big loser  on the Olympics. (ABC News/The Blotter)

The "Imaginary Recession"

If you want proof of how easy it is to CREATE a recession, look at the primary cause of the failure of "IndyMac." This institution wouldn't have failed, but for the letter Chuck Shumer sent, questioning the "strength" of Indy Mac that caused the billion-dollar run on that bank, which in turn, caused it to fail. Rarely do we get to see so clearly how liberals do everything they can to make SURE the economy is "weak" because it contributes to their ability to take over more control over all of us. Of course, "Chuckie" is blaming the federal regulators. I wonder if he really thinks his letter had nothing to do with it. It's a good example of a SINGLE act that contributed to a bank failure. Meanwhile, liberals all over the place are trying their best to CREATE a recession. Unfortunately, the facts are "stubborn." (L. A. Times/Blogs)

Obama Pushes War in Afghanistan

He's using the SAME WORDS Bush used to convince America that we needed to go into Iraq and depose Saddam. But he's not smart enough to realize that. He wants us OUT of Iraq, but IN Afghanistan. He still doesn't understand that Iraq was a major CENTER for Islamic terrorists, and we needed to remove at least one terrorist sanctuary. He STILL thinks there is only ONE country in the Middle East where al Qaida was NOT. Liberals STILL call the Islamic terrorists in Iraq "insurgents," which they are NOT. Most are from OUTSIDE Iraq and are working hard to make it LOOK like an "insurgent action." He's "bought the package" and "drank the Kool-Aid." And this man thinks he's smart enough to be president.
