It's a trend. Mostly by Democrats, but sometimes by Republicans, too, to "shut up" everybody but the "pros" in politics. McCain-Feingold led the way with that unconstitutional law (illegally declared constitutional by the Supreme Court) that stops any mention of an incumbent politician in any ad within a short time of an election. I call it the "Incumbent Protection Act" because it protects the incumbent by making it harder for the opposing side. Obama used it in a different way in Chicago in his first election. He saw to it that his opponents were removed from the ballot so they couldn't even compete! Next, they'll try and "shut up" people like me, but it won't work. The only way they'll ever shut me up is by killing me or putting me in a deep, dark dungeon--which I have no doubt they'll eventually try. (
