I don't often agree with editorial cartoonist Ed Stein because he's a "radical liberal in his thinking. But this cartoon is "right on." I wonder how a radical liberal like him was even able to see this: The cartoon depicts Treasury Secretary Paulson shoveling money down a "deep, dark, hole" saying "we need to go in a different direction." With the next picture showing him doing the same thing "in a different direction." Basically he's saying: "You can't have any of the $700 billion I'M in charge of "doling out" to the banking industry. I'M in charge of it, and you have to steal your OWN money to give away to increase and maintain your OWN power! The "dirty little secret" in all this is, at the bottom of that "black hole" are lots of "leeches" on our society who will reliably vote more and more Democrats into office as long as they get their "bread and circuses" as they "line up” to prove THEY are “the most needy.” (
