Twisting Their Words

That's one thing Doonesbury is good at. Twisting the words Republicans say so they mean just the opposite of reality: Sarah Palin said, "Anyone who thinks that they're better than someone else." (Gov. Sarah Palin, asked to define "elite"); McCain added, "I know where a lot of 'em live -- in our nation's capital and New York City... They think that they can dictate what they believe to America."(Sen. John McCain, joining in). Funny thing is, they're BOTH right. He printed both quotes on his web site, with the intimation both quotes were wrong. Not so. (Doonesbury)

Obama is a Dolt!

He is being "run" by George Soros at MoveOn.org and could do nothing without being told what to do. His "handlers" are all promoting collectivism (socialism) and that's the direction in which he will take this country. He calls it "change" and talks abut the "failed policies of George Bush." But he never details what those "failed policies" are. If he ever does, it's mostly his disagreements with them. He THINKS they are failed policies--at least, in his mind--but that doesn't mean they are. He says "We can't afford four more years of George Bush," obviously equating electing McCain with George Bush. I would love to equate Obama's election to "four more years of Bill Clinton," but I can't. Obama is much WORSE than Bill Clinton ever thought to be, although he was bad enough and HIS policies, together with the scammers and swindlers in the Democrat Party were responsible for. The economic "crunch" we're in, now (See "Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 that FORCED lenders to make loans they KNEW could never be repaid and used Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy them until it was time to "pull the plug" just before the election for maximum effect). They were also responsible for the Gas price disaster by making it impossible for oil producers to drill domestically OR refine what they found, ANYWHERE (No new refineries in more than 30 years). It was a "recipe for disaster" and it was TIMED to come to a head just before the election. It worked perfectly. We'll see if it caused an Obama victory and a "filibuster-proof" Democrat majority in the Congress. This is being written on election day and we don't know yet who won. If it is Obama, we're all in for a rough time as his policies do not SOLVE the economic crisis OR the fuel cost crisis (which is already "going away" under Bush), but will make them WORSE. Raising taxes in a slow economy is also a "recipe for disaster," but Obama doesn't care. He just wants the power and will do what his "handlers" tell him to maintain it. (Just common sense)

"Bankrupting" the Coal Industry

Obama thinks "bankrupting" the coal industry is a good thing (Which shows what a dolt he is). The only problem is, the coal industry is BASIC to our welfare and to "run it out of business" would destroy this economy and this country. He's too ignorant to know this. He would also like to bankrupt the oil industry, without having ANYTHING viable "waiting in the wings" to take over. His short-sighted hatred for "big business" WILL destroy this economy before it is over. I sincerely hope this is a moot question after the election. (IBD)

Media "In the Tank" for Obama

Yeah, I know. You've heard that before. But Ann Coulter presents PROOF in this article. George Stephanopoulos almost got FIRED for asking Obama the "wrong question" about Bill Ayers. The press says Obama "refuted" claims that his very CAREER was started in the living room of a VERY lucky domestic terrorist (Ayers) in Chicago. He "refuted" nothing. He merely DENIED it, but the truth is known, and the Los Angeles Times "let the cat out of the bag" before they figured out they have to LIE about it to get Obama elected. They "go after" Sarah Palin by sending a bunch of lawyers and "investigators" to Alaska with a lot of money to spend to get "dirt" on her. Yet they did nothing of the kind on Obama, even though he is a KNOWN "Chicago thug" and a racist. He's like a "busted pillow" with the stuffing falling out, the stuffing being all his "sins." He thinks he can keep all these things from coming out, but there is just too much of it. Don't fall for his bulldroppings. He is a radical SOCIALIST and not fit to be president of this country. You must DEFEAT him and his Democrat friends in Washington, or they're going to ruin your life. Did you know about 80% of former Weathermen (who are still alive and not in prison) from the sixties are now teaching? And guess who they're teaching? YOUR kids, of course. That's why liberals win even as much as they do. They consistently "condition" your children. (Ann Coulter)

Let's Skip the "Liberal Label"

This blog seems to think we should "skip" using the liberal label to describe liberals. Okay; I'll "skip it" and call them what they ARE. SOCIALISTS. Liberals are socialists, by definition. So okay, let's call them what they are. Liberals keep criticizing the use of "labels" while they are the biggest USERS of labels. They don't want to be called "liberals?" They just want to further obfuscate things by giving themselves a new label and demanding we stop calling them liberals. Okay, I'll start calling them SOCIALISTS, which is a synonym for liberal. Obama is the biggest one out there who hates being called liberal. But I don't think he wants us to call him a socialist, either. He's trying to convince the public he is a "centrist," which is unbelievable. Just as it was unbelievable when Bill Clinton tried it. Obama has tried to dictate the words we use to refer to him for this entire campaign. Sorry. It doesn't work on me,  (One News Now)

Will the Politicians Lose the Iraq War?

The liberal politicians spent the better part of the last few years condemning the "war in Iraq" as an "unnecessary war" that we cannot win. They have kept up the "drumbeat" over and over, day after day, week after week, month after month until we've become sick of it. Now comes a report that we are essentially "in charge" in Iraq. That the violence is way down and the local politicians soon will be able to run things without being murdered. Did you hear about that in the liberal media? You didn't? Lordy! I wonder why they didn't report such a momentous occurrence! Maybe it's because it doesn't fit into their preconceived notion--the one they've "bought into" in support of Obama for president and the Democrats to gain a filibuster-proof majority. There is no way we can "lose" in Iraq unless the POLITICIANS lose it for us. Will they? (Just common sense)

No Dissent Allowed

I'm not going to write a bunch of words about this. This cartoonist says it all in one drawing. It gives a good illustration of how Obama treats dissenters. (William Warren)

Shutting Up the Non-Pros

It's a trend. Mostly by Democrats, but sometimes by Republicans, too, to "shut up" everybody but the "pros" in politics. McCain-Feingold led the way with that unconstitutional law (illegally declared constitutional by the Supreme Court) that stops any mention of an incumbent politician in any ad within a short time of an election. I call it the "Incumbent Protection Act" because it protects the incumbent by making it harder for the opposing side. Obama used it in a different way in Chicago in his first election. He saw to it that his opponents were removed from the ballot so they couldn't even compete! Next, they'll try and "shut up" people like me, but it won't work. The only way they'll ever shut me up is by killing me or putting me in a deep, dark dungeon--which I have no doubt they'll eventually try. (Common Sense)

Obama Ignores Fraud

He got donations from Daffy Duck, Bart Simpson, The "Family Guy," and other non-existent people. He knew it. He ignored it, and took the money. This is the kind of politician Obama is, and he will get away with it because the liberal media will not report it, and he can say "poo-poo" to the "alternative media" reports. I've been getting more and more frustrated with the complete lack of affect such things have on him. People hear about his dishonesty and his lies, and they ignore it. They called Reagan "the Teflon politician" unfairly, but it would be VERY fair to use this on Obama. Nothing dishonest he does seems to affect him. (News Max)

Excellent Political Cartoonist

Michael Ramirez, political cartoonist for the Investor's Business Daily," is one of the few cartoonists in the United States today who does not adhere to the liberal scheme. If a politician screws up, conservative or liberal, Ramirez "rips him/her a new one" in a funny way. Reagan said the best way to handle the liberals is to "laugh at them." Ramirez helps immeasurably in this. (IBD Cartoons)

More Guns Needed

In New Zealand, "dairies" (their equivalent of a convenience store") are arming themselves because of a recent increase of violent crimes against them. They call the job of clerk in their stores as "one of the most dangerous jobs out there." Some keep baseball bats, cricket bats, knives and other weapons short of a gun because of the tight gun laws that do nothing toward keeping guns out of the hands of criminals (who don't obey laws) but DO keep guns out of the hands of most honest people--those who really NEED them. But some are actually putting guns under their counters in defiance of the law because "it's better to be judged by 12 instead of carried by six." I agree. If I had such a job, I would DEFINITELY have a gun close to hand, law or no law. (New Zealand Herald)

Don't Vote!

If you're still "undecided" with just a few says left to the election, you don't have a clue as to what has been going on, and what each candidate stands for. If you're "leaning" toward Obama, you must like being told what you can do, and how to spend your money. You must also like the government taking more and more of your money to spend as THEY like, not what YOU like. If you don't even know what socialism is, you're in REAL trouble. If you're leaning toward McCain, you're in a LITTLE better shape, since McCain is not a "dedicated, radical socialist." What does that mean, you might ask? If you have to ask, you have no business voting at all, and should NOT vote until you spend a lot of time "paying attention to politics," something for which it is way too late at this point. Anybody who is STILL undecided should STAY AWAY FROM THE POLLS. That has nothing to do with your "right to vote." You can still vote if you want to, but I don't advise it. If you don't know what's going on, your vote could well put in yet another socialist-leaning administration who will move us ever closer to collectivism (socialism, communism, etc.). The Democrat candidate is being "run" by sixties radicals (socialists all) and, like most sixties radicals, makes none of his own decisions, relying, instead, on the platitudes fed him by those "running" him. Don't play into their scams by voting if you have no idea what you're voting for! (Just common sense)

Did Bill Ayers Write Obama's Book?

This article tells of "suspicious similarities" in the way this book was written to former writings of domestic terrorist and bomber Bill Ayers. Seems like Obama couldn't deliver on his first book contract (no word on whether or not he returned the $600,000 advance), but did on the second. But the book looked nothing like things HE had written in the past and DID look like things Ayers had written. No, there's nothing wrong with someone "ghost-writing" a book for a politician. But there IS something wrong with an admitted terrorist and bomber who "beat the rap" writing a book in the name of a presidential candidate. This means that those words are NOT Obama's. They are the words of this terrorist. (Daily Grind)

Not Nice to Embarass Obama

And "Joe the Plumber" is "paying the price" for asking Obama a "hard question" that got a rare truthful answer that may cost Obama the election (He wants to "spread the wealth"). So now they've found out that he does not owe anybody child support, nor any taxes, even though the news media early on intimated that he had a tax lien against him with nothing to back it up. They also made a "big thing" about his "lacdk of a license." But they didn't tell you he didn't NEED a license as an EMPLOYEE. Personally, I think the person who used the "machinery of state" to "investigate" Joe for making Obama be truthful should be criminally charged and get to spend a little time in the pokey; or at least be fired WITHOUT a "golden parachute." "Punishing Journalists"

The Obama campaign is "booting" journalists whose papers don't support him from his airplane. Add that to his action in "banning" interviews with his people for news anchors who ask him or Biden "tough questions," He isn't even PRESIDENT! So what can you expect if he DOES get elected? Democrats are big on "freedom of the press" unless the press doesn't agree with them. Maybe he thinks he IS already president. He should remember that the media predicted Kerry would beat Bush, too. Their manufactured polls told them so. But Bush did what he always does when Democrats (liberals) think they have him beat. He "wiped up the floor" with them and "ate their lunch." (One News Now)
