Afghanistan President Karzai is griping about American troops “killing civilians” when we wiped out a nest of terrorists in his country. I got news for him: terrorists ARE “civilians.” So if we “swear off” killing ANY civilians, we just lost the war against terrorism. In any case, the terrorists go out of their way to place civilians in FRONT of them and their installations, so whenever we attack them, we kill civilians. They also go out of their way to kill civilians, themselves. He says our “killing civilians” just “strengthens” the terrorists. So should we stop killing (civilian) terrorists to keep from “strengthening” them? Karzai ought to know better, unless he has “sold out” to the terrorists. Afghan citizens demonstrate against the U. S., led by an Imam, of course. (
