General Motors has already gone through the $9.6 BILLION dollars Obama GAVE them to “bail them out” from their failure. Now they want more. And they’ll probably get it because there are THOUSANDS of General Motors employees who fear being laid off after obligating themselves for more money than they can make anywhere else. My own brother-in-law, who has been a responsible man his whole life, is in danger of losing his job because of General Motors’ mismanagement. I hope it doesn’t happen. But just “giving them money” doesn’t solve their mismanagement problems. Lowering the taxes they have to pay will. Obama is raising taxes “on the rich” to “solve” the economy problem, but that won’t do it. As one congressman said, “There aren’t enough 'rich' to tax enough to pay for all he has spent.” He needs to face up to reality and lower the tax base again so that “the rich” will invest their money in projects that will create more taxable income and more jobs. It works every time it has been tried, but the have their “blinders” on with regard to reducing taxes. If they reduce taxes, then THEY cannot have control over how the money is spent; and it is the CONTROL they want. (
