They want to stop killing murderers and rapists because it costs too much while at the same time want to allow “old folks” to die painful, lingering deaths because it would “cost too much” to keep them alive, or even to alleviate their pain under Obama’s new “health czar” plan. In Colorado they want to eliminate the death penalty and devote the saved money to solving “cold cases.” But what are they going to do with the killers when they solve these cases? Put them in prison for life and feed, clothe, and medicate them at government expense for the rest of their lives. How much does THAT cost? I think this ides doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. But when did that ever stop a politician? Obama’s plan lets a “health czar” micromanage your doctor and DENY medicine and medical treatments (with no medical training required) “if it costs too much and the patient won’t live very long, anyway.” Shades of “Solient Green,” where they “mulched” dead bodies and made food out of them, feeding it to survivors. It always makes sense to them, until it involves them personally. (
