The World is Snickering

Obama saw fit to release a memo about our “torture” methods (things Ann Coulter says we do on first dates), and in capitols around the world, they’re “snickering” at our “wussy” attempts to get information out of our captives; people who would not hesitate to behead us if they captured one of us. “People pay to have a lot rougher stuff done to them at Six Flags Great Adventure. Indeed, with plastic walls and soft neck collars, ‘walling’ may be the world's first method of ’torture’ in which all the implements were made by Fisher-Price.” (A well known toy maker) Places like Saudi Arabia and other Islamic capitals (including Iran), know what REAL torture is. Many of them practice it on their women. This is the kind of thing you can expect from the “wussy” leaders we (not me) have chosen to “lead” this country for (at least) the next four years. Gawd! I hope this country comes to its senses before then, as they did when they threw Jimmy Carter out of office after one term, in which we had double-digit inflation, allowed Iran to capture and keep our diplomats (until Reagan came along), and who made many really stupid decisions. Another Step

Obama’s government is taking one more step in the direction of destroying the rights of America’s parents to make decisions for their children. No parent wants his/her child to be sexually active at 15 to 17 years of age. But this law, which allows those as young as 17 to buy a “morning after pill” WITHOUT their parents being notified, does so.. This means they can gaily have sex at a very young age (an age at which an adult would go to prison for having sex with them) and get a “morning after pill” without their parent’s knowledge. For my part, I want to KNOW if my 17-year-old grandchild is having sex, so I can at least advise them on safe sex practices if nothing else. The very fact that she needs a “morning after pill” tells me she’s not having “safe sex” and could very well be infected with a dangerous sexually-transmitted disease and not know it until too late. This trend is evident, not only in this instance, but in the way parents are treated by “child services” whenever somebody makes an ANONYMOUS “report” of child abuse, sometimes at the advice of a lawyer to get their opponent’s mind off a suit in another action entirely. Since there is NO penalty, even if the “report” is known to be a vicious attempt to hurt an innocent person for an ulterior motive, gives people an INCENTIVE to make such reports while the “child protectors” treat such “reports” as “gospel.” As “prima-facie evidence” that abuse has occurred, treating the parents as “guilty until proven innocent” while their “captive courts” accept the worker's OPINIONS as “evidence,” rather than the hearsay it usually is. Democrat Legacy; Bust

 Reagan’s legacy is a 25-year boom. The longest economic boom in the history of this country. Created by his reduction in the TAX RATE, which created an INCENTIVE to invest for those who had the money to invest in profit-making, and therefore taxable income-creating projects that also created jobs and millionaires. The Democrats finally destroyed that by passing a law FORCING lenders to loan money to those they KNEW could not repay it and “pulling the plug” (Fannie and Freddy) just before the 2008 election, guaranteeing the Democrats would “take over” the entire government in a “bloodless coup.” They don’t care if they create an economic bust, so long as they get in power and stay there. We're Being Suckered

Not by “big oil or “big coal,” or “big auto,” etc., as our lovely government tells us. We’re being suckered by our government, from the president, on down. Part of that is convincing us that the very people who are ESSENTIAL to our survival are “suckering” us. If these people would disappear today, As Obama wishes they would, we would be in “big trouble.” But Obama isn’t smart enough to realize that, or he just doesn’t care. There has been found NO  viable substitute for “big oil, coal, or auto" as yet. Or for Any other “big business” that has been “targeted by Obama and his accomplices. It’s really bad when the biggest con man in the country is sitting in the Oval Office, hiring more and more con men to put in charge of essential services so they can con us out of even more as time goes on.(Just common sense)

The Phone Will Be Blamed, Of Course

A man talking on a cell phone (while driving drunk) had an accident that managed to kill four children. So watch for the “talking on a cell phone” to get most of the blame. Forget he was “slobbering drunk.” Politicians will use this as an excuse to further penalize people who have broken no law except talking on a cell phone while driving instead of simply applying higher penalties for people who have accidents that can legally be blamed on cell phone use while driving. Like banning guns in the pockets of people who have committed no crime using them, they’re penalizing people for what they MIGHT do, not what they HAVE done. This is typical liberal (mostly) politics. (Yahoo News/AP)

"We'll Just do What We Want"

So what’s wrong with that? Man was meant to be free to make his own decisions (and that includes women). So why should we allow a government to make our decisions FOR us, any time? “Action star Jackie Chan's comments wondering whether Chinese people ‘need to be controlled’ have drawn sharp rebuke in his native Hong Kong and in Taiwan. Chan told a business forum in the southern Chinese province of Hainan that a free society may not be beneficial for China's authoritarian mainland. ‘I'm not sure if it's good to have freedom or not,’ Chan said Saturday. ‘I'm gradually beginning to feel that we Chinese need to be controlled. If we're not being controlled, we'll just do what we want.’ " So what? Does Chan allow anyone else to make HIS decisions for him? I don't think so. Since when do people “need” to be controlled by politicians and bureaucrats? This sounds like typical liberal thinking, to me. (Associated Press)

"Civility and Tolerance"

Obama and other Democrats talk a lot about “civility and tolerance.” But where IS “civility and tolerance” in the way they treat people who disagree with them? Janet Napolitano, his choice for Homeland Security Secretary, says “conservatives are dangerous right-wing extremists” while openly gay blogger Perez Hilton calls the “Miss USA contestant who is against gay marriage a nasty name that rhymes with "which" on his Hollywood blog. Is this the way liberals practice “civility and tolerance?" IS this “civility and tolerance?” Not a chance! This just emphasizes the fact that you can’t depend on what they SAY. You have to just watch what they DO. I could give you hundreds of examples. On Hilton, I don’t care if he has sex with DOGS. He has no right to do what he did. (One News Now/Michelle Malkin)

"Deep Appreciation"

For what? What has Islam EVER done for us, except give Islamic terrorists an excuse to kill 3,000 of our citizens, men, women, and CHILDREN in ONE DAY at the World Trade Center? “Obama said in Turkey, ‘We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much (WHAT?) over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country.’ " Obama is getting WAY too “chummy” with Islamists. He seems to forget we’re AT WAR with Islamic terrorists! Or he and his pals just won’t admit it. Would FDR have gotten so "chummy with Nazis during WWII? Personally, I have NO “appreciation” for what Islamists have (or have not) done for this country. I’d like to see a list,. But that’ll never happen. (Breitbart)

Criminalize Your Enemies

That’s one of  the first steps toward creating a dictatorship, and Obama has taken it. His administration has released a report saying ANY of the following are “dangerous right-wing extremists” and to be “investigated." ANYBODY against The United Nations; The New World Order; Gun Control; The violation of Posse Comitatus; (Do many of you even know what that IS?); The Federal Reserve; The Income Tax; The Ammunition and Accountability Act; A possible Constitutional Convention; The North American Union; Universal Service Program; Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) "(tagging you like they do bears and tigers in the wild); Abortion; Illegal Immigration. These, and many other things good people who happen to be conservatives are against, will now place those believing in them in a position to be “investigated” as “dangerous extremists.” This is known as “criminalizing your enemies.” I say to Obama and his thugs, “come and get me; I’m guilty. The "Clinton Effect"

Bill Clinton worked hard in the later years of his administration to claim something to be remembered for. A “legacy.” But he HAS a legacy, even if he doesn’t want it. Teenagers are having oral sex on an increasing basis and when asked why, they cite Bill Clinton’s statement that “oral sex is NOT sex” in justification. Will Obama be similarly remembered as the teen pregnancy rate increases as the one whose presidency allowed teens at 17 to get “morning after pills” without their parents even being told about it? I know he, like other liberals, wants to reduce or eliminate parental control over their children so they can teach children that socialism is a “good thing,” but is it necessary to allow them to engage in unprotected sex at such a young age with the promise they can get a “morning after pill” without their parents knowing? Maybe that works, maybe it doesn’t. But one thing is sure. It’s going to cause a BIG increase in teen pregnancies and Obama will be responsible, no matter how much he protests otherwise. What Is A Weapon?

Word is, many ports in the world will not allow ships with armed crews to dock. But what IS a “weapon?” What is “armed?” Seems like politicians everywhere are "deathly afraid": of ANY citizens being armed.They’ve already used a water cannon successfully. Enough pressure and they can SINK the pirate vessel while stopping cold any attempt to board their ship. Electrified fences on ships not carrying flammables can be a “stopper.” Extremely loud directional noise can actually DISABLE pirates who are attempting to board. There is also a “microwave” “ray” that can make their skin feel like it is “on fire.” Are those ports going to keep ships carrying THOSE things from docking? If so, it’s apparent they WANT the pirates to succeed. Are they being “paid off?” The point is, what is the DEFINITION of a “weapon?” What IS “an armed ship? (Just common sense)

They have put out a “threat assessment” about “right-wing extremists,” which seems to include ANYBODY who says, writes, or DOES ANYTHING to oppose Obama's harebrained schemes. I’m one of those, so come and get me! Be stupid! I don’t care. This is the normal “first step” in forming a dictatorship: “criminalize” those who oppose you and put most of them in jail; then kill the rest. After that, people will be AFRAID to speak out against you. (Just common sense)

Should We Punish Bush Officials for "Torturing?"

Obama says we won’t punish those “in the field” for “torturing” Islamic terrorists,” but we MIGHT punish top Bush officials who authorized it. People who successfully got information from them that may have saved many lives. Yes, we ought not torture American citizens. But Islamic terrorists have, in my opinion, REMOVED themselves from any “right” NOT to be tortured. They routinely torture people they capture, and even behead some. So whatever we do to them to get information out of them is, in my estimation, justified. They're NOT covered by the Geneva Convention in any way.  The old liberal scam about what we do encouraging Islamic men to “sign up” as terrorists is stupid. We might as well say to stop putting bank robbers in jail and stop executing killers because that causes more people to BECOME bank robbers or killers. Should we stop punishing them to keep more killers and bank robbers from going into that business? Furthermore, the liberals DEFINE torture in such a way as to include YELLING at them. I say kill them on sight when we catch them in the act. Don’t allow them to play our liberals like violins. (Just common sense)

What Is Fascism?

Imagine my surprise when my own sister once asked me, “What is socialism?” (She knows now) So I’m sure there are many who have no idea what Fascism is, so when people “throw that term around” as many do today, we need to know how it is different from simple socialism (the liberals like to throw it at us, erroneously). Fascism IS socialism. But it differs from communism (which is also socialism, or collectivism) in a small, but important way. “In his recent book, ‘Liberal Fascism,’ Jonah Goldberg argues that most of the ‘liberal’ political agenda is fascistic, in the true meaning of the word. Fascism is a system based on the use of governmental directives to control private property. Whereas communists simply confiscate private property--particularly what they call “the means of production”--fascists let the owners keep title, but bring their property under increasing government domination through rules and regulations. Goldberg’s indisputable argument is that the same thing is going on in the United States. This is obvious, but if you only “read the headlines,” you won’t understand or know that. (Freedom Daily)

Columbine Madness

Yesterday was the tenth anniversary of the massacre at Columbine High School where two students killed 12 students and one teacher. It got somewhat tiresome to hear about it every ten seconds, no matter where you turned, television, radio, or even the Internet. I feel sorry for the victims and their families, but they didn’t need to talk about it every ten seconds. I accurately predicted that the “anti-gun zealots” would use Columbine (again) as an excuse to demand more and more restrictive “anti-gun laws,” even though they and we know such laws DO NOTHING to stop such actions. How many CURRENT gun laws did Dillon and Kliebold break in this massacre? How many anti-gun laws did other shooters in other places break in their shootings? Only the presence of an armed citizen who isn’t afraid to shoot the shooter, and which the shooter doesn’t expect to be there can be a deterrent, by shooting the shooter before he/she can shoot any more people (as happened at the Colorado Springs church shooting). But the “anti-gun freaks” won’t hear of it, even though they KNOW more restrictive “gun control laws” will NOT do it, but will only make the problem worse. We need to stop listening to these insane people. (Just common sense)
