A man talking on a cell phone (while driving drunk) had an accident that managed to kill four children. So watch for the “talking on a cell phone” to get most of the blame. Forget he was “slobbering drunk.” Politicians will use this as an excuse to further penalize people who have broken no law except talking on a cell phone while driving instead of simply applying higher penalties for people who have accidents that can legally be blamed on cell phone use while driving. Like banning guns in the pockets of people who have committed no crime using them, they’re penalizing people for what they MIGHT do, not what they HAVE done. This is typical liberal (mostly) politics. (
