A Frustrating Business

This is really a frustrating business I’m in; trying to alert people to the many ways the liberals are screwing them every day, and which they don’t notice because they aren’t paying attention. There are so MANY scams and schemes operating at any given time, I could sit at this computer typing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and not begin to cover even a few of them. This is why the liberals are winning. There’s NO WAY we can even KNOW about all their scams and schemes, let alone stop them. The only way we can win is to vote these bastards out at every opportunity and hope they don’t STEAL the election, anyway. A good example is the “Citizen’s Reinvestment Act of 1976;” you know, the one that destroyed our economy to get Obama and all his cronies elected in 2008? The one that FORCED lenders to loan money to people they KNEW could not repay it? (A la “Atlas Shrugged” and Midas Mulligan, the banker who financed “Galt’s Gulch” when the producers of society started refusing to let themselves be looted any longer and “went on strike.”) We didn't even KNOW about it until it was too late. That’s just ONE of them, and the largest (I hope). This needs to STOP! People need to start “PAYING ATTENTION” to politics. Or politics will RUIN them! (Just common sense)

"Thought Crime"

They call it “hate crime”, but it is really “thought crime.” Police who pursue such crimes are “thought police” a la George Orwell’s prophetic “1984.” The Constitution allows people to think ANYTHING they wish, no matter how repugnant and stupid, as long as it doesn’t lead to crimes. There is already punishment in place for those crimes in the law, but to add MORE punishment because the perpetrator may be a “hater” is both stupid and unconstitutional. Nobody dislikes a racist or other “hater” any more than I do, but to punish his/her THOUGHTS? Now that’s stupid, and an excess. Where the hell do these lawmakers get the idea they have the POWER to punish someone’s THOUGHTS? I know we now have a “Big Brother” in the White house, but does this mean we also get “thought police” to go around and arrest and prosecute us for what we are THINKING? Soon people like me, whose ideas are violently opposed to those of Obama and his henchmen, will be punished for our THOUGHTS if this trend is allowed to continue. It’s a “slippery slope.” If we allow the government to punish ANYONE for what they are thinking, how long will it be before they punish ANYBODY who “insults the government,” as they do in other countries? Some People Are Just Stupid!

In Nigeria, some preachers CLAIM to be able to “recognize” witches, for a price. They hold them for weeks in churches and beat them unmercifully (Call the "child protectors!" Here’s a case of REAL child abuse!) Don’t they know that if these children were REAL witches, they would, and COULD kill such people for beating them and imprisoning them? How stupid ARE these people? It amazes me that such stupidity can be allowed in this day and age. But this is NIGERIA, where they do all sorts of stupid things, including those idiotic scams where they promise to give you millions if you verify your personal information and give them "a small fee" of several hundred to several thousand dollars. And other stupid people fall for it. (CNN)

Hispanic Female Arrogance

 "Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences … our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging. … I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life." Does she really believe a Hispanic woman is smarter than ANY “white male?” If so, she has no business being on the Court. That opinion is WAY too arrogant. Analyzing Sotomayor’s statement above, National Journal’s Stuart Taylor writes: "Imagine the reaction if someone had unearthed in 2005 a speech in which then-Judge Samuel Alito had asserted, for example: 'I would hope that a white male with the richness of his traditional American values would reach a better conclusion than a Latina woman who hasn’t lived that life' — and had proceeded to speak of 'inherent physiological or cultural differences.' Any prominent white male would be instantly and properly banished from polite society as a racist and a sexist for making an analogous claim of ethnic and gender superiority or inferiority." I don't care what nationality she is, or what color or religion. Nobody that arrogant should be on the Court. 'Nuff said. (Just common sense)

CIA "Bites Back"

The CIA isn’t known for “bending over and grabbing the ankles” for politicians. When politicians lie about them, they “bite back.” Pelosi has lied about them. “The CIA will bite back after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's wild new allegations of a cover-up on terrorist interrogations. When that truth comes out, she'll lose big. It may be the lie that ensnares her.” I certainly hope it does. I’m getting tired of listening to her lies, as she bats those big eyelashes and tries to seduce the nation. I thought we had it bad in the Clinton administration. I almost wish we had him back. This current administration is so much worse, it makes me physically ill. Between Obama, Pelosi and Reed, we can’t seem to get ANY truth. Add Murtha and Barney Frank, and lies “rule the day” in Washington. (Just common sense)

Why Invite Him?

I’m not angry about Notre Dame inviting President Barack Obama to give the commencement address there. But I AM mystified. I can’t think of any logical reason why a Catholic institution (I’m not Catholic) would inviter a man who is in agreement with the murder of millions of unborn infants to the point where he voted AGAINST allowing surgeons to give medical attention to the result of a botched abortion, forcing them to simply “let the infant die” on a table in the operating room. Abortion is murder. It “stills a beating heart.” It KILLS an infant before he/she even knows what life is. Another amazing thing to me is why George Bush was against stem cell research, using stem cells (which are not even CLOSE to being a sentient human being) which were scheduled for destruction, anyway. Yet Bush did NOTHING to stop this genocide against helpless infants. I come to this opinion NOT from religion, but from logic. (MSNBC)

He Said It Best

Paul Snover said it better than I ever have in his blog: "Today there are men and women of the world, very learned and highly educated people, with eloquent tongues, whom have used their advanced education, influential contacts, money, and speaking abilities to flatter, deceive, and commit evil deeds in the guise of 'do gooders' and in the pretence of acting 'for the good of humanity'. Hitler was delusional in a somewhat similar manner. These deceivers lack the wisdom, common sense, and true charity we desperately need in our leaders today. Many of these people have placed themselves in seats of power and influence as politicians, presidents, judges, bureaucrats, et nauseum, and are set upon the destruction of family and country at any cost for their own megalomaniacal statist totalitarian purposes. They care not for the Constitution, the country, or the people they were meant to serve. Is there hope for America? If so, what is that hope and where is it to be found?"

They are much better at “taking power” than they are at governing. They believe socialism is best for this country and they mean to IMPOSE it upon us as soon as they can. They are doing so many things, so quickly, I believe they are even “turning off” many of their friends. I hope, “Jimmy Carter-like,” Obama is a “one-term president,” and we can then get to work on repairing the damage he has done. (Paul Snover)

Recession Ending Despite Obama

Despite everything Obama has “thrown” at it in an effort to make it worse and deeper, the economy is starting to “come back.” He will, of course, claim credit for it, but only 6% of his “stimulus money” has even been paid out, so it is not a factor. It is the natural nature of an economy in a capitalist (or near-capitalist) state to improve as soon as possible. The economy in the forties did likewise, in spite of all FDR could do to prevent it. Everything he did then was calculated to make things worse and did, for a time. But natural market forces eventually triumphed, creating the “boom” that Reagan, Bush, and John Kennedy (a Democrat) made better with their tax rate reductions. But tax rate reductions from Obama are not expected. He’s not smart enough. And besides, the economy being bad plays right into his hands. It makes people more amenable to his socialist (collectivist) plans. (One News Now)

Questions Never Asked

The news media has asked many questions of the president. Most of them “softballs.” But never did it ask about his claiming credit for jobs created (something that cannot be measured) in this economy, and when the American people can start holding him responsible for all the jobs lost. Just before Obama’s “100 Day News Conference,” the Commerce Department released a report that the economy had SHRUNK at a rate of  6.1% in the January-March quarter. Right after the Bureau of Labor Statistics released a report that 1.2 million jobs have been LOST since Obama was inaugurated. He still claims all this is because of what he “inherited” from the Bush administration, notwithstanding the fact that the jobs picture was improving greatly until the Democrats “pulled the plug” on Fannie and Freddie, CAUSING the “economic crash,” just in time to ensure a Democrat win. Bush’s tax reductions caused a continuation of Reagan’s long-lasting economic BOOM caused by HIS (Reagan’s) tax rate reduction and did not stop until it became clear Obama was going to be elected. He can’t continue to blame Bush for everything forever, but you can bet he’s going to try. (Heritage Foundation)

"Holding Terrorists Without Trial"

I’m getting very tired of hearing this, or some other form of liberal idiocy. We’re not “holding them for trial. These are not common criminals to be “tried,” with all that entails. They’re ILLEGAL combatants that represent NO country, and have no objective except to kill people who aren’t THEIR kind of Muslim. They’re not being held FOR their crimes, to be tried and sentenced to prison. They are being held to KEEP THEM OFF THE BATTLEFIELD so they can’t “swell the ranks” of terrorists and kill more people. The same REASON WE HOLD ENEMY SOLDIERS (One out of SEVEN that have BEEN released have returned to the battlefield and killed more people). But these are not soldiers and are thus not protected under the Geneva Convention. Under the "rules of war," they could have been executed on the spot (since they were in "civilian clothes"), but were not. They should have been. Then there would be no questions from stupid liberals about their “treatment” or about “torture.” They HAVE no “rights.” They're not ENTITLED to any. They’re lucky they’re alive and being treated better than they were treated by their own comrades. Their own countries don’t want them back. Most of them would be executed if we DID send them back home, and if so, good riddance. (Yahoo Answers)

Now They're A Monopoly

The “Denver Post” is now a monopoly in Denver, Colorado. So to keep people like me out of their web site and make more money from it, they’re soon going to charge people to go there and read the news, however much it is slanted to the left. I guess they think people like me who only read their rag for the comics and throw the rest away will spend money to read it. Think again. I’ll just “swear off” the comics. I don’t need them. And the “news” they provide is so leftward-slanted, I don’t need to read it. (Just common sense)

They're Afraid of Them!

There’s an old saying that “when your enemy is committing suicide, stand back and let him.” It follows that if people like Rush Limbaugh and former vice-president Cheney are “killing the Republican Party,” the Democrats should “stand back and let them do it.” But they’re screaming that they should “shut up! Why? Because they’re frightened. Limbaugh and Cheney, and Sarah Palin are out there speaking the truth, and they just can’t handle that. So they criticize them and try to shut them up. Does that tell you anything? (Just common sense)

"We'll NEVER Release A Terrorist in the United States"

Senate majority leader Harry Reid has said it. So you can rely on the fact that it WILL happen. Anything a politician says (particularly a Democrat politician), the opposite is true because they don’t know HOW to tell the truth. These people are NOT imprisoned FOR crimes. They are being held to keep them from swelling the ranks of Islamic terrorists worldwide and killing more innocents. If we release them, they will do so, as some we have already released have done. The whole idea of releasing what amount to “prisoners of war” (even if they aren’t, legally) is ludicrous. If we do it, we’re going to suffer. I promise. I hope we’re not like Red Skelton’s “mean widdle kid” and “dood it anyway.’ (Just commons sense)

There Are NO "Budget Cuts!

Obama is touting his “billion dollar budget cuts” and the liberal media is “lapping it up” like a dog does a dish of ice cream. But his “budget cuts” are only “smoke and mirrors” based on an ESTIMATE of what they CAN cut by such things as “ordering supplies in bulk.’ Those “estimates” are NOT law, and have NO effect on the budget. Meanwhile he introduces a REAL budget including more spending than this country has done since its inception. It will DOUBLE the national debt and saddle us with socialized medicine and a massive “carbon tax.” (Just common sense)

Taking Credit

The numbers are looking a little better these days. They’re still “terrible,” but “not as bad” as they had been, or were expected to be. So watch for B. O. (Obama) to say “my plan is working.” What he doesn’t account for is that recessions and depressions are NOT “the normal thing.” Things will get better IN SPITE of Obama’s every effort to stop them while claiming to be “working to improve the economy.” Raising taxes will only make it harder, as will forcing Chrysler and GM to make cars nobody wants and rape their dealers. But these are the things B. O. is doing. As with FDR, all his Keynesian antics CANNOT make things better, although the money he is giving away will be welcomed by the recipients. Hopefully not enough to get them to vote for him. The “carbon tax” is both unnecessary and wrong; and will saddle Americans with much higher taxes, based on AlGore’s “man-made global warming” swindle. Gads! I can’t believe how STUPID our “leaders” are! And people (who do not pay attention) believe them! (Common sense and experience)
