What the Hell?

Democrats are peeing their pants because the CIA is tracking down and killing al-Qaida leaders. Funny; I thought that was what we did in time of war: track down and kill the other side’s leaders, hoping to end the war. “Congressional liberals must think Americans have very short memories.  For years the Left trashed the Bush administration for not capturing and killing Osama bin Laden.  Democrats claimed they could get the job done. Campaigning for president, Barack Obama made “We will kill bin Laden” a regular part of his foreign policy stump speech.” Now that Democrats are “in charge,” they’re mortified that Obama’s CIA would actually “track down and kill” anybody. These people are INSANE! (Human Events)

Obama's Plans Failing

And he’s desperately trying to keep us from noticing. "Restating themes he laid out in his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama said in an op-ed posted early Sunday on The Washington Post's Web site that his $787 billion stimulus program was not expected to return the economy to full health, but to provide a boost that would stop the free fall. 'So far, it has done that,' the president wrote. 'It was, from the start, a two-year program, and it will steadily save and create jobs as it ramps up over this summer and fall.' (How do you count "saved" jobs?)."  Funny; that’s not what he told us before. It was supposed to be a “cure-all” that would solve all our problems, instantly (forget that Democrats CREATED the economic failure to get him, and many other Democrats elected). We were told electing him would make the world a paradise. It has not. What electing him has done is bring us dangerously close to the “socialist paradise” he envisions, much quicker than ever before. He has “nationalized” AIG, General Motors, and Chrysler. He has taken over control of our economy and is “molding it” to his specifications, which will destroy it. Now he wants to take over the health care profession and “mold IT” to his specifications, no matter how many people die in the process. This part of his plan (about which he has not told us) IS working, and if his entire plan works, he will be the last American president most of us will ever know. His basic goal is simply POWER over all of us. (Yahoo News/AP)

The Way It Will Be

First, Obama’s “forces” tried to ignore us or make fun of us when we insisted he produce his birth certificate (something he should have had to do before even being nominated). That didn’t work. So now they’re just “getting nasty,” using “the race card” on ANYBODY who continues to insist. Such people as Pat Boone, who STILL insists he show his birth certificate (the left-wing political blog, “Wonkette”). He could put this whole thing to rest quickly by doing so. But he won’t do it. Instead he’ll spend millions of (somebody’s) dollars to fight all court attempts to force him to do so and accuse ANYBODY who insists he show it of being racist. It was said that electing a black man to the presidency would “end racism in this country.” Instead, it has made it worse. HE has made it worse. I don’t care if he’s black, white, or PURPLE! I want to know if he is unqualified to be president! Yes, I don’t like him because he is a SOCIALIST, of whatever color. But even if I DID like him I would want to see that birth certificate. Watch for it; from now on, EVERYBODY who disagrees with Obama will be called a racist by the left-wingers. (Western Journalism Center)

A "Subversive Group?"

The Rhode Island Tea Party Association is apparently on the list of terrorist groups. Why? Because it wants to pass out copies of our Constitution in a parade in one of the most liberal states in the union. All the restrictions put on this group in the parade were put ONLY on them. And for no reason given. In the original “tea party” the demonstrators were dressed as Indians, but these people were barred from dressing as Indians, though there were plenty of people there (other than them) who were. I think the biggest reason they were singled out is that a man who was not even on the float passed out copies of the Constitution before the parade, which the liberals in charge there are afraid of. They don’t want ANYBODY to be able to actually KNOW what’s IN the Constitution. The Bristol Fourth of July Parade Committee has banned them for life for this terrible crime. And apparently this committee can “make law” and there’s no recourse. This is what it's coming to in this country and people aren't doing ANYTHING about it because it always seems to happen elsewhere. And they just don't care because it isn't happening to THEM (yet).Believe it; it WILL soon be happening to THEM.(Glenn Beck)

No "Imperial Appointments"

We are a country of elected officials. Not of “czars.” It has been said we now have more “czars” than the Romanoff government had in Russia in 400 years, and we do. Why do we need “imperial appointments” of “czars” for this and that, even though we already HAVE appointed (and approved by Congress) secretaries who are supposed to do the same things, but have been denied the power by Obama? It’s all about power for Obama, not the “people.” (Just common sense)

"A Better Decision?"

Sonia Sotomayer says a “Hispanic woman would make better decisions than white men.” Then she makes such a stupid decision she won’t even sign it, discriminating against whites AND Hispanics in favor of blacks, and calls it a “good decision. I think not. She needs some instruction in making good rulings, probably from “white men.” And she got one (from whites, blacks, Hispanics, AND non-Hispanic women) when they summarily overturned her decision in the U. S. Supreme Court when the whites and Hispanics (not the blacks) sued. If this decision is what she considers a “better decision than a white man would make” I fear for her intelligence. (Ann Coulter)
