And he’s desperately trying to keep us from noticing. "Restating themes he laid out in his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama said in an op-ed posted early Sunday on The Washington Post's Web site that his $787 billion stimulus program was not expected to return the economy to full health, but to provide a boost that would stop the free fall. 'So far, it has done that,' the president wrote. 'It was, from the start, a two-year program, and it will steadily save and create jobs as it ramps up over this summer and fall.' (How do you count "saved" jobs?)." Funny; that’s not what he told us before. It was supposed to be a “cure-all” that would solve all our problems, instantly (forget that Democrats CREATED the economic failure to get him, and many other Democrats elected). We were told electing him would make the world a paradise. It has not. What electing him has done is bring us dangerously close to the “socialist paradise” he envisions, much quicker than ever before. He has “nationalized” AIG, General Motors, and Chrysler. He has taken over control of our economy and is “molding it” to his specifications, which will destroy it. Now he wants to take over the health care profession and “mold IT” to his specifications, no matter how many people die in the process. This part of his plan (about which he has not told us) IS working, and if his entire plan works, he will be the last American president most of us will ever know. His basic goal is simply POWER over all of us. (
