"Proactive" Means Hysterical

Obama’s flu fearmongering is running amok. He says "90,000 people MIGHT die of "swine flu."  “Just nine weeks ago the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology issued its report with a “plausible scenario” of 30,000 to 90,000 deaths [That's a BIG gap. -RT] peaking in “mid-October.” It’s now late October [as this is written-RT] and past time for a reality check.” What have we had? Less than 100 deaths “attributed” to “swine flu?” That’s not cause for a “declaration of national emergency.” More people die of the STANDARD flu every year with no one seeming to take notice. Seems funny to me that the “order has gone out” to doctors that ALL persons presenting with "flu-like symptoms" WILL be diagnosed with swine flu. Sounds like a little “numbers pumping” to me. The Real Goal

Getting free medical care for all Americans isn’t the goal for Obama. Senator Jay Rockefeller let the cat out of the bag when he said, "We cannot promise [you] that the insurance reforms... will benefit everyone, when the reality is that this bill leaves out up to 55 percent, or 73 million people" (who are already covered by work plans).” “The AP is also reporting that the group America's Health insurance Plans concludes that under the Baucus plan, costs of private health insurance would rise by a whopping 111 percent over the next decade as compared to the current system where costs would rise by 79 percent... President Obama said affordable healthcare for all Americans... Let's be clear. This isn't about health care. This is about our government seizing more control over our lives!" Everything Obama does is geared toward giving him more control over our lives. (Grassfire)

Dithering While Soldiers Die

Like Nero in Rome, the dictator “dithers” while his top generals BEG for more troops to get the job done. Why he can't make such a simple decision is beyond me. Unless he simply doesn't WANT to win in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the enemy awaits a decision from a man who has SAID “victory is not an option.” What the hell then, IS the option? Isn’t the goal in ANY war, winning? Would we have told Adolph Hitler, that, “victory over his Nazis is not an option?” How STUPID is that? This man we (not me) have elected president is plainly STUPID! (You watch. Soon he’ll be able to send me to prison for saying that) I’m glad I’m an old man. Maybe I won’t LIVE long enough for him to gain enough power to do that. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if his top generals resign, since he has obviously lost confidence in their ability to pursue this war. I certainly would. (IBD Editorials)

Unaccountable

That’s the key word about Obama’s administration. “Unaccountable” to ANYBODY except Obama. All his “czars,” who are NOT approved by Congress, do what they want, regardless of the law or the Constitution (such as the “pay czar,” (Who just cut executive pay by 95%! AFTER the executives have done the work, for which they should be paid, even if next year they won’t.). Sometimes Obama knows what they’re going to do, sometimes not. They’re SUPPOSED to be “advisers” only, but he has invested powers in them not available to advisers. This is how it’s going to be if we allow Obama to continue on this path. We need to stop him while we still can. (Just common sense)

"Opting Out"

They SAY your state can “opt out” of their health care swindle by passing a law (have you ever tried to pass a law?) that says they want no part of it. Only problem with that is you still have to PAY for it. “The most important fact about the "opt out" scheme allegedly allowing states to decline government health insurance is that a state can't "opt out" of paying for it. All 50 states will pay for it. A state legislature can only opt out of allowing its own citizens to receive the benefits of a federal program they're paying for.” (Emphasis mine. -RT) This is a typical con perpetrated by our government. Not the way CNN is.” That’s what Rahm Emmanuel says. What the hell has he been smoking? CNN is one of the most liberally biased news stations out there, except for MSNBC. I tried watching CNN and MSNBC for a while, but being a person that “pays attention” to what’s going on, I couldn’t stand to continue as both stations insulted my intelligence, day after day. What a ludicrous bunch we have running things in Washington! David Harsanyi, a writer for the Denver Post, is as ignorant as is most liberals, and this article demonstrates it admirably. In it, he actually says OBAMA has been "suffering under press excesses." What a jerk! (David Harsanyi)

Doing Everything At Once

Obama seems to think he MUST be pushing SOMETHING, every day. From “Cap & Trade” to the health care swindle ("We gotta do this NOW, even though it won't take effect until 2013) to extending the school year to trying to get the Olympics for Chicago (under orders from Mayor Daly) to . . . Well, you get the idea. Of course, he doesn’t have time to sign an order to send enough troops to get the job done in Afghanistan or Iraq (since “victory is not an option” there to him) while soldiers die. He goes “galloping off in all directions” and getting nothing we want done. But he DOES get things done that NOBODY (except his socialist friends) wants done. (Jerry Holbert)

Leaving New York

New York is surprised that people are leaving New York in droves to escape paying their record high taxes. They say “the rich” are doing it, but it is EVERYBODY who can afford it. Mostly those who CREATE the wealth New York wants to steal. Yes, “the rich” are abandoning New York in droves. But so are other people who don’t want to support losers who won’t work with money they have EARNED. They’re going where they can EARN their living without unreasonable taxation. These people don’t mind paying REASONABLE taxes. It is the UNREASONABLY HIGH taxes they resent and hope to escape by moving elsewhere. (New York Post)

"Dissing" Customers

CitiBank apparently doesn’t need their customers. What could be more embarrassing than to present your credit card to make a purchase, only to be told it was “denied?” CitiBank and other credit card issuers (I don’t want to dignify them by calling them “credit institutions”) arbitrarily canceled many customer’s cards without warning and lied to them about why they did it. They DID send out letters telling the customers what was happening, but they were CALCULATED to get there AFTER the fact. I guess they don’t need those customers in this bad economy. If I had been one of them, they would never see another penny out of me (of course, I’ve never had a credit card, and don’t want one—ever) (MSN)

White House Hates Fox

Mostly because Fox News will not “toe their line” and retell the lies they send them. Fox tells the truth, and nothing but the truth. The White House, in response, calls them liars , but they can't point out a single instance to prove it. They have assigned Anita Dunn to “Watch Fox and find ways to destroy it.” Glenn Beck, who is on Fox, has set up a “dedicated phone line” just for her to call ANY rime she finds something wrong with anything on Fox, so they can talk about it. She has yet to call. Apparently, she’s afraid to call because she might get some provable truth—and she couldn’t handle that. This woman is a self-described “Mao lover.” She has said so in her speeches, one of which is shown in the video this link will take you to. (Glenn Beck)

How Stupid Is That?

A former marine who served in Iraq and later went to work for the U. S. government, has now resigned, saying, “I no longer know why we are fighting this war.” There are many good reasons why to quit Obama’s administration, but this is not one of them. The reason is simple: to kill as many Islamic terrorists as we can because that’s the only way we’re going to keep them from coming HERE and doing the same things they’re doing there. Diplomacy is not going to do it. You can’t reason with someone whose ONLY goal is the DEATH of ALL those who do not believe the same way they do. The only way to stop them is to KILL them. Apparently Obama’s government won’t admit that, or are just to stupid to know it. (Washington Post)

Obama's Chance

Jack Johnson, black heavyweight boxing champion, was sent to prison in 1913 for . . .wait for it . . .having a romantic relationship with . . . a white woman. They couldn’t beat him in the ring. They even brought one of the top contenders Johnson had never been able to fight out of retirement to “bring him down.” He couldn’t. So the cops arrested him and sent him to prison for "violating the Mann Act," ruining his life for something that hurt nobody except the “sensibilities” of the openly racist people of the time. They tried to get a resolution through Congress to pardon him in 2004, but it failed. They tried several times more later and all but one failed. Obama has a chance to prove his administration will eliminate racism in this country (at least in his own office) by signing it and pardoning Johnson. This was one of the worst miscarriages of justice ever perpetrated “under law.” Obama has a chance to make it right, even though Johnson died a felon because of an unconstitutional racist law. Will he? I’ll be watching. What enrages me is members of this Congress having the temerity to accuse Rush Limbaugh, who doesn’t have a racist bone in his body, of being a racist (based on "made-up" quotes) after the same body actually passed LAW that was so blatantly racist, causing people like Johnson to be ruined. Is Obama A Socialist?

No. He IS a “collectivist,” which is the “parent philosophy for socialism AND communism. But it is also the parent philosophy for fascism. Both approve the theft of property from people who EARN it, to GIVE to those who DON’T. There are only “cosmetic differences” between them. Socialism is where the government OWNS the means of production, and fascism is where YOU own it,” but it is controlled, ABSOLUTELY, by the government. It’s a “difference without meaning.” Obama is NOT a “socialist,” but what he is constructing is fascism. That is evident if you open your eyes. Look at the people he surrounds himself with. Communists, socialists, home-grown terrorists, and white racists. This is the guy “WE” (not me) elected president. The one who is going to destroy this country if we don’t get rid of him. The first step is to get rid of his Democrat majority in the 2010 elections. This is a MUST. (World Net Daily)

Tyranny in the Making

Obama just recently appointed a “pay czar” who has dictated that big companies (whether or not they’ve been “bailed out”) allow him to control the amount of money their executives can earn. In some cases he has taken away EVERYTHING some executives have EARNED last year. If he gets away with this (and it’s patently unconstitutional), soon he will be dictating how much you and I make, and if he thinks we are making too much, he will just take it away after we've worked and earned it. For my part, I will tell him to “screw off” if he tries to make me pay back ANY of what I’ve EARNED this year and DARE him to do anything about it. He will, and when he does, it might just wake some of you up. (Rush Limbaugh)

Constitution is Dying

For one reason: in order to enforce it, somebody has to spend a lot of money while putting themselves (or someone else) in jeopardy. They have to VIOLATE the unconstitutional law and HOPE the state and national Supreme Courts see it their way. Unfortunately, Supreme Courts have, of late, been “making their own law” by making decisions based on their own personal opinions, foreign law, or other things rather than simply what the Constitution itself says. as they should be. We need to change that, constitutionally. When a person violates an unconstitutional law for the first time since it was passed, or even before it can be enforced, there should be a system in place to ENSURE the constitutionality of the law, based ONLY on the Constitution, not on somebody’s OPINION.
