"Dissing" Customers

CitiBank apparently doesn’t need their customers. What could be more embarrassing than to present your credit card to make a purchase, only to be told it was “denied?” CitiBank and other credit card issuers (I don’t want to dignify them by calling them “credit institutions”) arbitrarily canceled many customer’s cards without warning and lied to them about why they did it. They DID send out letters telling the customers what was happening, but they were CALCULATED to get there AFTER the fact. I guess they don’t need those customers in this bad economy. If I had been one of them, they would never see another penny out of me (of course, I’ve never had a credit card, and don’t want one—ever) (MSN)
