"Proactive" Means Hysterical

Obama’s flu fearmongering is running amok. He says "90,000 people MIGHT die of "swine flu."  “Just nine weeks ago the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology issued its report with a “plausible scenario” of 30,000 to 90,000 deaths [That's a BIG gap. -RT] peaking in “mid-October.” It’s now late October [as this is written-RT] and past time for a reality check.” What have we had? Less than 100 deaths “attributed” to “swine flu?” That’s not cause for a “declaration of national emergency.” More people die of the STANDARD flu every year with no one seeming to take notice. Seems funny to me that the “order has gone out” to doctors that ALL persons presenting with "flu-like symptoms" WILL be diagnosed with swine flu. Sounds like a little “numbers pumping” to me. The Real Goal

Getting free medical care for all Americans isn’t the goal for Obama. Senator Jay Rockefeller let the cat out of the bag when he said, "We cannot promise [you] that the insurance reforms... will benefit everyone, when the reality is that this bill leaves out up to 55 percent, or 73 million people" (who are already covered by work plans).” “The AP is also reporting that the group America's Health insurance Plans concludes that under the Baucus plan, costs of private health insurance would rise by a whopping 111 percent over the next decade as compared to the current system where costs would rise by 79 percent... President Obama said affordable healthcare for all Americans... Let's be clear. This isn't about health care. This is about our government seizing more control over our lives!" Everything Obama does is geared toward giving him more control over our lives. (Grassfire)

Dithering While Soldiers Die

Like Nero in Rome, the dictator “dithers” while his top generals BEG for more troops to get the job done. Why he can't make such a simple decision is beyond me. Unless he simply doesn't WANT to win in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the enemy awaits a decision from a man who has SAID “victory is not an option.” What the hell then, IS the option? Isn’t the goal in ANY war, winning? Would we have told Adolph Hitler, that, “victory over his Nazis is not an option?” How STUPID is that? This man we (not me) have elected president is plainly STUPID! (You watch. Soon he’ll be able to send me to prison for saying that) I’m glad I’m an old man. Maybe I won’t LIVE long enough for him to gain enough power to do that. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if his top generals resign, since he has obviously lost confidence in their ability to pursue this war. I certainly would. (IBD Editorials)

Unaccountable

That’s the key word about Obama’s administration. “Unaccountable” to ANYBODY except Obama. All his “czars,” who are NOT approved by Congress, do what they want, regardless of the law or the Constitution (such as the “pay czar,” (Who just cut executive pay by 95%! AFTER the executives have done the work, for which they should be paid, even if next year they won’t.). Sometimes Obama knows what they’re going to do, sometimes not. They’re SUPPOSED to be “advisers” only, but he has invested powers in them not available to advisers. This is how it’s going to be if we allow Obama to continue on this path. We need to stop him while we still can. (Just common sense)
