Obama’s flu fearmongering is running amok. He says "90,000 people MIGHT die of "swine flu." “Just nine weeks ago the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology issued its report with a “plausible scenario” of 30,000 to 90,000 deaths [That's a BIG gap. -RT] peaking in “mid-October.” It’s now late October [as this is written-RT] and past time for a reality check.” What have we had? Less than 100 deaths “attributed” to “swine flu?” That’s not cause for a “declaration of national emergency.” More people die of the STANDARD flu every year with no one seeming to take notice. Seems funny to me that the “order has gone out” to doctors that ALL persons presenting with "flu-like symptoms" WILL be diagnosed with swine flu. Sounds like a little “numbers pumping” to me. (
