An intrepid photojournalist went into an ACORN office and was very frank about what he (supposedly) wanted to do. He wanted to import underage girls to do business for him and fool the IRS about what he’s doing. Instead of throwing him and his “prostitute” out the front door, they proceeded to “advise” him on how to do that. The story made a few headlines for a few days (mostly on Fox and other “free” news sources) and then disappeared, except as a footnote. There are more facets to that story and the so-called “mainstream media” could have explored them, but did not. They aren’t interested. One facet is that ACORN was “defunded” by Congress—for ONE MONTH. But did you hear about that in the liberal media? No. Another is that ACORN is changing its name. But to what? Then there’s the large number of organizations “associated” with ACORN. But did any liberal media outlet try to find out who they were? No; they griped about the “ethics” of the people who
investigated them. (
