Merry Christmas to all. I will not bow to the liberal political correctness dictate not toi use the name of Christ in a greeting about His birthday. I respect ALL religions, even if I might not agree with all their tenets. I realize t5his greeting will "offend" some people, but that's too bad. It offends me to be told what I can say.

Cops Detain Citizen for Patriotic Bumper Sticker

This was sent us by the “Patriot Depot: “We just received a call from Rosemarie in Ball, Louisiana alerting us that her brother-in-law was stopped by small town Louisiana police and detained by the roadside for half an hour. A background check was conducted to determine whether he was a member of an ‘extremist’ group. Why? Her brother-in-law (name not disclosed for privacy) had purchased and displayed a conservative ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ bumper sticker on his car. The bumper sticker is based on the famous flag designed by American Revolution era general and statesman Christopher Gadsden.  The yellow flag featured a coiled diamondback rattlesnake ready to strike, with the slogan “Don’t Tread on Me!” underneath it.  Benjamin Franklin helped make the rattlesnake a symbol of Americans’ reluctance to quarrel but vigilance and resolve in defense of their rights.  By 1775 when Gadsden presented his flag to the commander-in-chief of the Navy, the rattlesnake  was a symbol of the colonies and of their need to unite in defense of threats to their God-given and inherited rights.  The flag and the bumper sticker symbolize American patriotism, the need to defend Americans’ rights, and resistance to tyranny’s threats to American liberty.  Those threats included—and include—illegal taxation, profanation of Americans’ rights, and violation of the fundamental principles of American law.

The notorious Department of Homeland Security memo, which was apparently based on the infamous Missouri State Police Report that described supporters of presidential candidates Bob Barr, Ron Paul, and Chuck Baldwin as ‘militia’-type potential extremists and potential terrorists, is not the first effort of leftist radicals to slander their political opponents as ‘extremists.’ Some observers have noted that similar ‘reports’ emerged during the Clinton administration. But ‘liberals’ and other leftists have been calling defenders of traditional American limited constitutional government, free enterprise, and individual liberty “extremists” since at least the 1964 election. The political left’s attempts to establish a false equivalence between genuine left wing extremists and those who oppose the left’s assault on our culture, law, and liberty is more than propaganda to fool the ignorant and manipulate public opinion. Combined with the power of government, it is an attempt to harass, intimidate, and silence all political opposition—and probably an attempt to demonize them as a prelude to governmental oppression and persecution. Keep in mind that the First Amendment states, ‘Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.’ Small town police misled by phony left wing ‘reports’ are bad enough. Federal government agencies and their armed agents under the direction of leftist radicals are exponentially worse.’ They will tread on us. The time has come to let our voices be heard! It’s starting, folks. Soon it will not be ignorant small-town cops. It will be “federal agents” detaining us for being freedom-lovers. Are you going to let them do it? (Patriot Depot)

"Obama Love"

What I'm seeing now about Obama is the exact same thing people saw in Germany at the beginning of the rise of Adolph HItler, who was first ELECTED chancellor of Germany, with a popularity beyond belief. The Germans LOVED this man. German women would have loved to go to bed with him (and I'm sure many did). He could do no wrong, and immediately set out to consolidate his power. Soon he was able to round up the Jews and KILL six million of them, just because they were Jews. He killed many more people without significant opposition until he made the mistake of "waking a sleeping giant" and convinced the United States he was a danger, which we crushed. Will we crush Obama when his goals become apparent, even to the most adamant person who "doesn't pay attention to politics?" Maybe. Hopefully. If not, we will soon be a socialist country with Obama as "president for life." I hope I won't live to see that, but my descendants will, and I don't want that. It sickens me to see the way people "fawn" over him. Just as much as it sickened me to see the way the same people hated George Bush with no real reason (not one they could explain, anyway). Bush wasn't perfect, but he was better than any Democrat out there--which is why they hated him. If we don't wake up and see Obama for what he is, or hopes to be, we're going to wake up one day as slaves. (Just common sense)

It's NOT "An Iraq War!"

Iraq is just ONE THEATER in an overall “war against terrorists.” It doesn’t matter what we do in Iraq, that war will go on and on until we’ve killed or crippled enough Islamic terrorists to make it impossible for them to continue to attack us. Afghanistan will be the next “theater” in that war, and I’m sure Iran will come soon after. If the “doves” in our society continue to gripe every time we make a move to win this war and this government LISTENS, we will LOSE that overall war and the Islamic terrorists will be bombing indiscriminately in the U. S., which they have not been able to do up to now because Bush kept them busy in Iraq and Afghanistan. What is it about “self defense” these “doves” don’t understand? These are the same people, no doubt, who think the way to personal self defense is to DISARM yourself while CRIMINALS, who have no problem violating a law that says they can’t be armed, see us as “easy targets.” I’m getting sick and tired of these “doves” running things while making it more dangerous for us to live. If I arm myself to avoid becoming the victim of one of these illegal guns, then I become a criminal who will go to jail if the cops find me armed. That’s a load of bull droppings. (Just common sense)

"Thrilled With It?"

Harry Reid says “Americans will be thrilled by the health care bill (swindle) once we know what’s in it.” Why then, do we NOT know what’s in it? Why is he HIDING what’s in it? His problem is, Americans who pay attention KNOW what’s in it, and we don’t like it. We want no part of it. He knows that, but he’s fighting to impose it, anyway; and that’s going to mean his political doom in the next election. Then some other Democrat jerk can take over and try to help Obama screw us until he, too, is done away with along with Obama. What they don’t realize is what Obama and his “gang of thieves” are doing to us is WORSE that what King George was doing, and which caused the American Revolution. Will this cause the SECOND American Revolution? Will we have to “go to war” to put Obama and his people in their place? This may cause a revolution, but I hope it doesn’t happen in my lifetime. They "Melted Away"

Obama’s wondering where the Islamic terrorists (by whatever name) went. They’ve gone over to Iraq, where nothing seems to be happening, and will wreak their havoc there until Obama’s “pull-out” date for Afghanistan. Recently, they killed 118 innocent people there with coordinated bomb attacks. You know, the sneaky way to kill people without putting yourself in danger. The kind of method used by people who are yellow, as well as murderous. (For terrorists who don’t understand “yellow,” that means “scared.”) If they’d attack us from the front, instead of from the back, this “war” would be over in no time and there’d be no terrorists left. Tiger Woods

Here’s my take on the Tiger woods fiasco: “Who cares?” It doesn’t affect my life in any way, so why should I care? Yes, Woods is imperfect. As imperfect as any of us are, but he happens to be a billionaire, as well—which makes his peccadilloes of interest to many. But not me. I have too many IMPORTANT things to think about, so why should I waste time on that? Leave the poor guy alone to deal with the problems he has caused himself. If he weren’t Tiger Woods, this would be just another “family argument” based on infidelity. Nothing could be more common. But with all the money his skill with a golf club has brought him, it brings the interest of people whose business it is not.(Just common sense)

Impossible Rules

Our soldiers are being asked to put their lives on the line using IMPOSSIBLE rules of engagement. I spoke to a man the other day who told me that as far back as in Korea, they were told that no soldier was allowed to shoot back when fired upon until one of their number was killed. KILLED! (This is the kind of thing you can count on when politicians run a war) Can you imagine the kind of rules of engagement under which they’re asked to operate today with these wimpy liberals in charge in Washington? Personally, if I were a soldier in a danger spot and a terrorist group fired on me, I’d make sure they were all DEAD, rather than take a chance that any of them would ever be “brought to trial” in New York City where they would be given all the rights they’re trying to destroy in their efforts to destroy the United States. There would be NO prisoners; ever. Or I would refuse to go until the rules of engagement were changed. They could send me to jail and feed me while giving me as place to live, for free. Better than being “cannon fodder.” (Just common sense)

New GM Chief

They can’t seem to keep a CEO at GM. I’m not surprised. Most people intelligent enough to be placed in that kind of a position don’t take kindly to being “bossed around” by the likes of Obama’s “fellow travelers,” all of whom are not only incompetent, they are PURPOSEFULLY incompetent. So they quit after finding out what it’s like being a “figurehead” for one of Obama’s constructs. I wouldn’t take the job if he offered it to me and said he’d pay me a million dollars a year. It’s not worth the hassle. They’re saying Rick Waggoner “blew his big chance” to create a “turnaround plan,” but that’s not how it worked. You can’t do such a thing within the limits Obama’s people put on you. Now Fritz Henderson said “screw it” after being blamed by the board for continued failure to see things get better. I predict that the Chairman of the Board, Ed Whitacre, Jr., will also soon say the same when they fail to find another patsy to take over. (Chicago Tribune)

Islamic Mosque Now At "Ground Zero"

Right next to the site of Radical Islam’s greatest triumph has been built an Islamic Mosque, which is a ”slap in the face” to all Americans. Why the City of New York even ALLOWED this, I can’t imagine. The Imam who runs it is the one who runs “sensitivity classes” for the FBI. Heaven only knows what he is preaching to those agents, let alone the Muslims who come to his Mosque. Take a look at the pictures accompanying this article. See that “junk” falling to the ground? Some of that “junk” is human beings jumping to their deaths to avoid being burned to death. This is what was wrought by radical Islamics on Sept. 11, 2001, and this picture has been BANNED from the news media for many years in an attempt to get American to forget the massacre perpetrated upon us on that day. The Democrats are still telling the lie that an overwhelming majority of Americans WANT “health care reform,” hoping those who pay no attention to politics will believe them; and the media doesn’t question them on it. They’re working the weekend, hoping to get “a leg up” on those who are adamantly against it. They KNOW we don’t want it, but they’re DETERMINED to “shove it down our throats,” never mind our gag reflex. They may even succeed, and then lose their jobs in the next election as those who DO pay attention to politics retaliate. If they fail, they’ll be back next year, and the year after that, until they DO succeed in taking over the medical business. (Talking Points)

"Upside Down"

That’s how it is in this country today. The government is PROSECUTING the heroes who apprehended a murderous terrorist who masterminded the murders and mutilated bodies of soldiers who were found hanging upside-down on a bridge. That terrorist has a “fat lip,” which he probably gave himself so he could claim abuse on the part of his captors. They’re TAUGHT to do that so his capture becomes a plus for the terrorists. A cameraman does a “20-20” and goes into an ACORN office, filming them KNOWINGLY agreeing to help them buy a whorehouse to use underage girls, and to lie to the IRS; Somebody hacks into a database and gains information proving AlGore’s global warming swindle is just that. In both cases, they want to “investigate” and prosecute the “whistle-blowers who exposed those liberals and their scams. Nobody ever suggested "investigating" and prosecuting 20-20 for doing the same to non-liberals. We need to get rid of the criminals we now have in office, as quickly as we can. (Just common sense)

It's Very Simple

The whole purpose of being in business is NOT to “create jobs.” I'll repeat that: The whole purpose of being in business is NOT to “create jobs.” It is to make as much money as you can, which, if you are successful, AUTOMATICALLY creates jobs (sometimes well-to-do peopler and even millionaires) as a “by-product.” NOT as a “major purpose.” This is a concept that Obama and his “gang of thieves” just do not understand. It is this kind of incompetence that will cause this country to go bankrupt as he and his cohorts continue to do everything they can to destroy the economy, either incompetently, or on purpose, for their own purposes. I don’t know which it is, but I strongly suspect it is “purposeful incompetence.” (Just common sense)

UN Gun Control Scheme

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has signaled that the Obama administration would “work hand-in-hand: with the UN to get the global arms treaty signed. “Disguised as legislation to help in the fight against “’terrorism,’ ‘insurgency’ and ‘international crime syndicates,’[ the UN Small Arms Treaty is nothing more than a massive, GLOBAL gun control scheme.” Like most ignorant gun-control freaks, Hillary, Obama, and the UN still think criminals, whose whole reason for being is to break the law, will OBEY a law that says they can’t be armed.; when are these people going to get some COMMON SENSE?
