Looking the Wrong Way

Coal and oil are NOT destroying this planet in any way. Obama has pledged to BANKRUPT the coal industry, forgetting entirely that coal is absolutely ESSENTIAL to making electricity, which is already too high priced. He is leaning hard on the petroleum industry to lower their prices while doing all he can to make it impossible for them to make any money at all (They cannot, by law, drill for oil ANYWHERE the U. S. runs, making it impossible to get to enough oil to keep us going for thousands of years). What is WRONG with this man’s thinking processes? He has all kinds of complicated plans in the works to give certain people TARGETED tax cuts, and SAYS they are to help the economy. Why doesn’t he do what Bush did, and reduce the TAX BASE for everybody, and in the process, give business (and individuals) INCENTIVE to invent new things and do more business, thus creating a larger tax base and increase the “tax take,” It has worked every time it has been tried, one time even by a Democrat (JFK). Obama needs to wake up and start living in the real world. (Just common sense)

Fineman's a Fool

He says, with nothing to back it up, “pretty much everybody favors Democrats.” He apparently doesn’t know about the polls (the ones not controlled by the Democrats) that say 40% favor Republicans while only 20% favor Democrats. That’s TWICE as many! But then, everybody who pays attention knows Fineman is a rabid liberal who can’t see anything wrong in ANYTHING the Democrats do. We need to start staying away from programs such as Fineman’s, since we get no REAL news, only that news he and the Democrats feel is “fit” for us to know. It’s no wonder Newsweek is losing readers as fast as they are. (Media Research Center)

"Draining the (GOP) Swamp"

Nancy Peelosi said she’d “drain the swamp” of congressional corruption. But she didn’t mention the “swamp draining” would only be on the Republican side of the aisle. Only Republicans who get in trouble are “drained.” When a Democrat gets in trouble, she just makes excuses for them and does nothing. Example: when Barney Frank was found to have a gay roommate who was running a gay whorehouse out of his (Barney’s) apartment, all he got was a “slap on the hand” that hurt him not at all. Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), has been flaunting the taxes he has imposed on the rest of us with abandon for years. But Nancy says, “I see no reason why Mr. Rangel should step down.” Rangel has been flouting not one, but several areas where he should be paying the taxes HE imposed upon the rest of us. But he must think they don’t apply to him, as a high-ranking member of Congress, which puts him above the rest of us. (Just common sense/Town Hall Magazine)

Communist China Supplies Iran

Communist China is doing everything they can to destabilize as many places in the world as they can, figuring if there is enough chaos in the world it can only be to their advantage. So Iran can’t buy nuclear equipment because of the sanctions against them, huh? But communist China will sell to them in a heartbeat. They figure if they’re Iran’s friends and trading partners, they won’t use them on them (China). It's like feeding the crocodile your friends, hoping he'll eat you last. But they will be able to fill the Middle East with terror. How much longer are we going to allow communist China to help other countries destabilize things? (Investor’s Business Daily)

Why Won't He Answer?

Obama has spent, so far, $1.7 MILLION DOLLARS of taxpayer money to hide the truth from you, the voter. Originally, I wasn’t interested in this until he went so far out of his way to avoid offering proof. Now I want to know. An Appellant Brief has been filed, ORDERING him to produce this proof. How will he wiggle out of it? There have been more than 20 legal actions trying to FORCE this possibly illegal president to PROVE his eligibility. Liberals have made DEATH THREATS against the Executive Director of the United States Justice Foundation for filing this action. The press has called him every name in the book. Why are they fighting it so hard? Are they afraid he can’t produce proof of his citizenship with all his actions since taking office being rescinded?

He should have been forced to show this proof BEFORE being allowed to even FILE to run for president. Not to do so is a violation of the law on both sides. His, and the election commission responsible for certifying the eligibility of a presidential candidate. Frankly, I don’t want to see him removed from office before his term expires. If he did, we’d get Joe Biden, and that’s worse. Then if Joe was gone, it would be Peelosi. I just don’t want to see the election laws being flouted in such a flagrant way. You know, the same way Obama flouts all other laws that stand in his way. If he is really a citizen, why does he so mightily resist proving it when it would be so easy to resolve the issue by merely showing a real birth certificate instead of the phony documents he has, so far, released?? (Just common sense)

Keeping Us Defenseless

That seems to be the goal of most of our governments. When Islamic terrorists come here to kill us, as they will when they realize Obama’s government is not nearly as solid in opposition to that as the Bush government was, we will be completely defenseless. Right now all we have to worry about is “run-of-the-mill criminals” and crazies who occasionally go into places they can be pretty sure have no guns to oppose them and shoot them up. But what will happen when an Islamic terrorist goes into a crowd and starts shooting? There will be no one there to shoot him down and stop his killing, so many will die. One of my fondest memories is of an Israeli woman standing over a Palestinian (Islamic) terrorist, pumping bullets into his face when he tried to start a shooting spree. In Israel, EVERYBODY carries a gun. Another fond memory is of a pretty blond woman worshipping at a church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, when a man came in the church, shooting. She was legally armed, and she shot him, ending his shooting spree

 Has anybody ever noticed that such shooting sprees always happen in “no-gun zones?” Places where the shooter can be reasonably sure there will be no unexpected guns aimed in HIS direction? Our politicians need to start using common sense regarding self defense and the means to that end. For some reason they want to keep us unarmed, and thus unable to defend ourselves against the illegally-obtained guns carried as a matter of course by criminals, crazies, and terrorists. In SPITE of all the anti-gun laws, guns are easy to get almost anywhere for those willing to break the law. The tighter the anti-gun laws are in a given area, the easier it is to buy an illegal gun. People bent on breaking laws don’t OBEY anti-gun laws. Only honest people do, and are thus unable to protect themselves against those who flagrantly violate ALL laws. We need to do as Florida has done and make it easy for honest, responsible people to obtain “carry licenses,” so that those who would use their illegally-obtained guns to plunder us will never be able to know if their intended victims are armed and willing to kill them before they can kill us. "Recruiting Tool for Terrorists"

 That’s what our liberals call “enhanced questioning of terrorists.” What should we do, buy them an ice cream cone?” Give them a free place to live until their friends stop killing innocent people (Oh; we do give them a free place to live, don’t we?)? Should we stop prosecuting murderers so they’ll stop killing people? That simply will NOT work. It will be viewed as a weakness and the death rate will go up sharply. Does anybody with any intelligence at all think stopping the “enhanced questioning” of terrorists will STOP them from recruiting misfits and criminals to their cause? The CIA stopped any further attacks on U. S. soil after 9/11 under Bush with "enhanced questioning," but Obama is systematically making it easier for terrorists to attack us with every new policy. He is an imbecile. And I don’t say that lightly. (Just common sense)

Government Incompetence

 Seems funny to me that an eight-year-old would not instantly be dismissed by airport inspectors as soon as they see him. Instead, they grill him, not once, but ever since he was 2! “He's also an 8-year-old cub scout who attends parochial school in Clifton, N.J., and has been receiving the third degree from airport security since he was 2-years-old.” Since he was 2 YEARS OLD! What incompetent jerks these people be! How can they pretend to be able to protect us when they do such things as this? Sheesh! (CBS News)

That's Just Orful!

The Supreme Court, with its decision that parts of the “McCain-Feingold “Incumbent Protection Act” are unconstitutional will “allow the wrong people” to have freedom of speech, according to Obama. The unfortunate thing for Obama and his gang is that this decision is one that is actually right, according to their mandate, whether he likes it or not. They’re worried that large corporations (which are made up of American citizens) will have “too much influence” on what happens in Washington by now being able to give Obama and his gang as much money as do his unions. He wants to limit this influence to the unions that support him and not allow the corporations that create the jobs and profits that keep this country solvent to do so, as well. Jailed for "Talking God?"

Since when is it against the law to talk to willing person if the subject is God? That’s what happened to a “youth pastor” in a California shopping center. He was arrested and manhandled (assaulted) by a “mall cop” for “trespassing” and when he got to the police station HE was then arrested by the cops for BATTERY and trespassing (How can you “trespass” in a public mall? Further, how can you commit “battery” when somebody manhandles YOU?). What is WRONG in this country when this kind of stupidity can happen? Is there more to this than is revealed in the news story? Did he actually resist physically? Doubtful. He’s a “YOUTH PASTOR,” fergawdsakes! They don’t “attack” when they’re manhandled, even by a “rent-a-cop.” And I used to BE a “rent-a-cop.” I KNOW they don’t have that kind of authority and this one should never be allowed to put on a “cop-looking” uniform so they can manhandle people who are minding their own business and having a private conversation.

The charges were ultimately dropped, but who ever gave that “mall cop” the idea he had that kind of authority?” Authority to intervene when people are simply talking among themselves in a public place? "It's surprising that mall owners think they can arrest patrons for engaging in casual conservations," said PJI [Pacific Justice Institute, which is pursuing a First Amendment suit against the mall owners. –RT] Staff Attorney Matthew McReynolds. "While a 'don't talk to strangers' rule may be good for kids, enforcing it against adults is absurd, and we think it violates California's free speech guarantees." Who the hell ever told them (the mall) it was any of their business? The “mall cop” should be arrested for battery against this youth pastor and fired. Talk about overstepping your (tiny) authority!

Counterterrorism Officials Asleep

Remember the “shoe bomber?” They were surprised then, too. As they were when the “skivvy bomber” tried to strike. Both would-be terrorists were badly trained, and thus were unable to set off their bombs aboard airplanes. But that doesn’t mean the next one won’t be successful. These “officials” need to WAKE UP and stay AHEAD of what the terrorists (who are, after all, still living in the fifteenth century) are going to come up with next. If the terrorists can think of it, we can certainly think of it first, and be on the lookout for it. They need to stop inconveniencing EVERYBODY and start PROFILING people who are in that group (radical MUSLIMS) who want to kill everybody who doesn’t believe the same way they do. That is, I believe, the heights of religious intolerance. So we inconvenience some “good Muslims.” So what? It has been almost ALWAYS Muslims who make such attempts in recent years. So why look at blond, blue-eyed Scandinavians, and even old women and small children and others first? Better than inconveniencing EVERYBODY and thus not having TIME to look in the right direction.
