“The Tipping Point.” That point, at which when you pass it, you “tip” this country into disaster. Soon, we will have economic chaos, and that can lead to many things, from riots in the streets to the second American Revolution, to get rid of people like Barack Obama, Nancy Peelosi, Harry Reid, and other radical socialists now running our government. Obama doesn’t know yet how far he has gone, already. I predict that his majority in congress is going to evaporate in November, 2010, and from then on he will not be able to get ANYTHING done on his road to socialism. If he thought it was hard to get DEMOCRATS to go along with his health care swindle, wait until he tries to “dicker” with a Republican-dominated Congress to pass his next "flight of fancy." Children Out Of Control

In New York, bands of children are beating up on random people and the ”authorities” are upset about it and want to “hold the parents responsible.” The “child protectors” will PUT YOU IN PRISON if you so much as “raise your hand” to your children, and when they predictably get in trouble, they want to hold YOU responsible. I think the “child protection services” (no matter what name they go under) should be held responsible for making it impossible to control your children. I would never “beat” a child. But corporal punishment should NEVER be removed from consideration. If a child KNOWS ha/she will NEVER suffer it, he/she will be uncontrollable. In my case, I used mild corporal punishment on my children early in their lives so they’d know I would do it. In their later childhood it was not necessary BECAUSE they knew I would do it.

But you can’t convince these “child protectors” of that. They have “dirty minds” and they think ANY corporal punishment is “beating” the child. They think ANY “touching” of a child is sex abuse. They overreact as a matter of course. They will “swoop in” and REMOVE the child as a FIRST OPTION at the slightest hint of physical punishment. Then they’ll tell the child (if they’re allowed to return home at all) that all they have to do is “drop a dime” on their parents if they EVER feel they’re being “abused,” and they’ll “take care of it.” So next thing that happens, the kids tell you they’ll “tell CPS” if you do so much as put them on restriction, and the “child protectors” will come out and harass you, maybe even put you in prison. This abuse of the system has GOT to stop before they ruin our youth entirely. (New York Examiner)

Stopping Dependence on Foreign Oil

We need to stop our dependence on foreign oil to defund the Saudis and other Middle-Eastern potentates who waited until American oil interests struck oil, then “nationalized” (stole) the oil fields, forcing us to buy a lot of our oil from them. Meanwhile the American government refused to allow those same oil companies to drill in any land where WE controlled things. Somehow, they just don’t understand that we can STOP our dependence on the foreign oil the Middle Easterners stole from US. Just by allowing us to drill in our own territory. Another way we can reduce it is to use synthetic oil in our cars. Synthetics do use a small amount of fossil oil in its makeup; about 6%. But if enough car owners started using it, we’d scare the daylights out of the foreign suppliers and their prices would come right down, (Ray Thomas 101)

Feds, Stuff Your Gun Laws!

“Utah has become the third state to adopt a law exempting guns and ammunition made, sold and used in the state from massive federal regulations under the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and supporters say about 30 more states have some sort of plan for their own exemptions in the works.” As usual, Obama wants to govern (rule) against the will of the people and it’s going to cost him. He’s already paying his attorneys to sue this state over their law, and everybody who owns, or wants to own a gun for self defense or for any other reason will vote against him in the next election where they can. Local laws stump federal laws in all cases, no matter how much the feds want to make us think otherwise. So I’ll join this state in telling Obama: take your gun laws and regs and stick them where the sun doesn’t shine. (World Net Daily)

Racial Epithets?

Play this video and tell me if you hear a “racial epithet” being thrown. I do not. The person who sent it to me could not, much less see any spitting. This is how liberals paint ANY opposition to their wishes. Further, I might say that ANY “Racial epithets or spitting” will come from those THEY planted in the crowd, for the express purpose of discrediting them.  These people just want to be heard. Obama doesn’t want them to be heard. (Resistnet)

A Basic Truth

Tinsley’s done it again! Brought out a “basic truth” in a couple of panels. Charlie Rangel is just one of the most recent in a long list of Democrats who realize they just can’t keep screwing the American people and stay in office. Another Democrat who will not run again is blaming the “blogosphere,” saying he’s “tired of fighting them.” Really? I’m a blogger and I heard his name the first time the day he decided not to run. I got a clue for ya, congressman: it’s your own actions that have CAUSED the interest the blogs have developed in you. So don’t try and blame THEM. The rats are abandoning ship, and it’s all Obama’s fault. And Peelosi’s; and Reid’s; and a lot more elite liberals in the Democrat Party. (Mallard Fillmore)

This is what John Dingell wants to do, and what he says the health care swindle WILL do. “DINGELL:  Paul W. (Smith), we're not ready to be doing it, but let me remind you, this has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you're going to pass legislation that will cover 300 [I think he means 300 million. -RT] American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.” To “control the people!” When did he get the idea this government has the right to “control the people?” And this is one of the longest-serving men in Congress! Did It Again

Took a simple lie from Obama and made it into a great single-frame cartoon for us to laugh at, while telling us a “basic truth.” This is one of the things Obama, among other lying politicians, hate with a passion: our ability to tape his early comments and play them back, to prove his lies. He can’t remember all the lies he’s told, so he gets caught in a lot of them. This is something Tinsley is good at, which explains why he is in so many newspapers, in spite of the liberal bent of those newspapers. He’s just too funny for them to eliminate. His fans won’t let them, me included. When the Denver Post canceled him some years ago, I was instrumental in getting them to change their minds. (Mallard Fillmore)

"Hate Speech?"

Ann Coulter was “warned” about “hate speech” before she was not allowed to speak at a recent event at a Canadian college in Ottowa. As usual, nobody mentioned exactly WHAT “hate speech” they were talking about, because they can’t. They have DEFINED everything someone like Coulter says as “hate speech,” while they go about spewing their own “hate speech” all over the place. Can anybody DEFINE “hate speech?” Nobody has even TRIED. It’s just a “throwaway line” they use to describe anything with which they disagree. At one Obama rally, someone shouted “kill him!” Turns out the one who did it is the reporter who reported it. AlGore advised young people to “engage in civil disobedience” to stop the building of something they didn’t like. “Civil disobedience” is what Al and his friends engaged in during the sixties when they were all hippies. An Obvious Example

Of how the liberal media slants the news. Every time Bush mispronounced anything, it was a three-day story that lasted a week. Obama (whom they love) mispronounced “corpsman," twice in one speech, saying “corpse man,” and not a peep out of them. This cartoon does a great job of showing the bias, as only Tinsley can do it, and with one picture, as usual. What I love about his “Mallard Fillmore” is his ability to do this with such ease. This is the strip, you might remember, that the Denver Post canceled, and which I helped get them to reconsider and continue running it, although on the editorial page, since he covers “political things.” Of course, “Doonesbury” also “covers political things” from a liberal viewpoint, about which the Post doesn’t care, being ultra-liberal themselves. It’s like a guy who stinks, who can’t smell it, while others can. (Mallard Fillmore)

Revising History

Liberals like to talk about how Reagan “hurt a lot of people.” He did not; unless you consider those who won’t work. He got rid of a few of the “giveaway programs,” and that MIGHT have hurt a few who would not work and prefer to live on the “public dole.” He lowered the base tax rate from the 70% range to 28%, creating one of the biggest, longest lasting economic booms that ever happened. Kennedy also lowered the tax rate and created a boom, but not as big because Congress was liberal. Bush lowered the tax rate yet again, and caused the boom to continue until the liberal scam to win the 2008 election “kicked in" in late 2008, causing an “economic slowdown” that got him the presidency. Marriage Defined

It is defined as “the union of a man and WOMAN to propagate the human race through procreation.” The union of two MEN or two WOMEN has nothing to do with procreation without the cooperation of one or more members of the opposite sex. I have nothing against two men or two women engaging in whatever kind of sex they can with one another in the privacy of their own homes. I DO have a problem with them trying to REDEFINE marriage to include their “unions.” Why gays  would want to “advertise” their unions, I don’t know. But they do. They simply WANT to “redefine” the WORD “marriage.” Gay activists have been offered every advantage  men and women have in marriage, but under different names, and they refuse to even consider it. They want ONE thing; a redefinition of the WORD “marriage,” which they’re not going to get. So far, they’ve lost 31 straight elections with their loss in Maine, and they’re going to lose more. If they want to have fun having sex with each other, let them. But they’re not going to be able to change the DEFINITION of the word “marriage” unless they can con Obama into doing it with a federal law (unconstitutional), which I wouldn’t put past him. (Just common sense)

America Has Been Summarily Raped

We didn’t want Obama’s health care swindle. We made that plain in many ways. But he did every dirty trick in the book to pass his scheme into law, and this is being written within minutes of his signing it into law. There are many places where it is unconstitutional, but one of the most well-known is the violation of the Tenth Amendment that disallows the government from FORCING us to buy something from a private vendor. Obama thinks the courts will support him, but he may be very wrong. I will certainly refuse to obey this edict, and I will NOT pay his fine. So if he wants to make an example of a 73-year-old man and send me to prison, let him. Now he’s going to set out on yet another trip to “sell” it to the American people. He still thinks we’re too stupid to understand his words and he wants to tell us again. (CNN)

No Guns Needed

A man walked into a school in China, and killed eight (count ‘em, EIGHT) children. NOBODY in the school was armed and able to stop him because of STIFF anti-gun laws in communist China. “SHANGHAI — A former community doctor allegedly stabbed to death eight children and injured five others at a primary school in east China's Fujian province, the authorities said, as China grapples with a rise in high-profile criminal violence in its cities.” Notice, in a country with “no-nonsense” anti-gun laws for its citizens, criminals find a way to increase the violence. This proves my thesis that if there were NO GUNS in society, the “bad guys” would find a way to kill, maim, and intimidate people. The answer is to allow RESPONSIBLE people to get “carry” permits easily, or just make carrying guns “under cover” legal so those (usually) illegally armed criminals cannot ever be sure their intended victims will not be armed and able to defend themselves. This would cause most of them (criminals are basically cowards) to go into other lines of crime. (Wall Street Journal)

No Blame At Home

The Pope apologized for the actions of Irish bishops in covering up the child sex abuse committed by Catholic priests, and has ordered an investigation into the Irish Catholic church. But he denies there is any blame at the Vatican, even though the Vatican KNEW what was going on, and did nothing about it. The problem was too widespread. Not just in Ireland. It was happening all over the world, chiefly because the Church demanded their priests be celibate, something that was against human nature. I know this is going to get me a lot of heat, but before writing, just THINK about your position for a moment. (Yahoo News/AP)
