The San Francisco Mayor banned travel to Arizona by city employees and will soon be banning other methods of doing business with this state because of the law that insists police enforce the law. People who say the cops can stop Hispanics JUST to check their status is a lie. It is a “second class” requirement, like seat belt laws are in some states. They have to have stopped them for other violations BEFORE they can ask them about their status. They say cops will MANUFACTURE “other violations” so they can ask them about their status.; This is bogus, too. Cops have way too much else to do to MANUFACTURE reasons to check somebody’s status. But they need to stop IGNORING their status and start actually ENFORCING the law. As to San Francisco, Arizona needs to tell them. “We neither need, nor WANT your business, so screw off!” (
