And he should be. But not for the reasons he states. The Republicans are going to “put him out to pasture” for his “sins” as Democrat Majority Leader in the Senate. I know he still thinks he has a chance to survive this election, in spite of the fact that his every move was AGAINST what the American people wanted. Harry Reid is clever, but he is not very smart if he thinks he can do what he has done and retain his seat. He’s in “big trouble” and hopefully he will be sent back to Nevada for his retirement. Liberals are all for the elimination of segregation today, but where were they when the REPUBLICANS passed the Civil Rights Amendment to the Constitution, something a majority of DEMOCRATS voted against. Senator Fulbright, Bill Clinton’s mentor, actively campaigned AGAINST it. Former Grand Kleagle of the KKK, Democrat Senator Byrd., who is STILL in Congress, actually voted AGAINST it. And they want to call ALL conservatives racists? C’mawn! Does ANYBODY have a MEMORY? The things the Democrats are crying about now are the very things they were AGAINST in years past. Plan B

People (even Democrats) are demanding Obama “go to plan B.” This presupposes there IS a “plan B.” OR even a “plan A.” Obama hasn’t a CLUE what to do, not only regarding the oil spill, but ANYTHING he faces as president. He has one purpose in being president: to move us as close to socialism as he can before he is “found out” by the electorate. Unfortunately for him, he has ALREADY been “found out” by the electorate, who are poised to destroy his voting majority in Congress in 2010 and get rid of HIM in 2012. Subtlety has never been his forte, and he has gone way too far, too fast, in too short a time. The best way to impose socialism on us is SECRETLY, without us knowing about it until it is too late. He has gone so far, so fast, he will never be able to complete his plans before we “cast him into the "trash heap" of history. (All Voices)

That’s what the Huffington Post says appointing him to a “paper-shuffling” job in Obama’s administration was. They say he can be much more effective elsewhere (and she's right). Never mind he is an admitted, avowed COMMUNIST who wants to make a socialist nation of this country (and that's what Obama wants). That is not mentioned. Personally, I think he sould be banned from ANY job where he can affect what happens to me and mine. He should be IMPRISONED for the things he has done to promote his ideas. (Huffington Post)

Obama Sabotaging US

It amazes me that some people don’t see how everything Obama does will eventually (soon) destroy this country as the “leader of the world.” We are only that BECAUSE of capitalism, and he is hard at work trying to DESTROY capitalism. He hasn’t a clue that he NEEDS capitalism for his socialistic plans to work. Socialism NEEDS capitalism and profit-making for there to BE any money for him to steal. He has sworn to BANKRUPT the coal industry, probably THE most important industry out there. Without the coal industry, we HAVE no energy because it is coal that powers the electrical generators that MAKE the power we NEED to survive in today’s world. He has taken over and is fast destroying General Motors and other private companies with the socialistic measures he is forcing on them, forcing them to make cars nobody wants to buy.

He is raising taxes everywhere, despite the provable FACT that raising taxes in a recession is FOOLHARDY. He not only REFUSES to protect our borders so Islamic terrorists can’t come in and blow us up in our own country, he FIGHTS states that have made laws to force him to enforce his own immigration laws. I could go on and on, making example after example, but I won’t. I don’t want to bore you. But it is so obvious he is out to DESTROY this country as we know it, I can’t see how ANYBODY (with any intelligence at all) cannot see it. But they don’t, because they “don’t pay attention to politics.” But politics WILL pay attention to THEM. (Ray Thomas 101.com)

"Me! Me! I'm In Charge!"

That’s what Obama says about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, even though he not only has no idea of what to do, he has DONE nothing and it took him FIVE MONTHS to actually GO there (excluding one time when he flew over it on the way somewhere else), and then on the way to his SECOND vacation since the spill. He talks a good game, but he doesn’t deliver. But then, that’s his way. He spends most of his time making speeches telling people about all he’s done, while doing nothing. He says “If BP does it wrong, we’ll push them aside and do it ourselves.” How will he KNOW if BP does anything wrong? He doesn’t KNOW what is “wrong!” No matter how much he postures and lies. Damn, it’d sure be nice to have a REAL president in office! Even the DEMOCRATS don’t like him! (Democrat Underground)

Peter Ferrarh has long predicted that Obama will screw up so badly, even his own DEMOCRATS will abandon him and he will have to resign even before the 2012 election, leaving the field wide open for Sarah and Bobby Jindal, since after the Obama fiasco, NO Democrat could get elected dogcatcher, much less president! Damn, I hope he’s right! Removing his voting majority in the Congress will LIMIT the further damage he can do in those last two years, but it would be nice if we didn’t have to suffer two more years of Obama’s lying pronouncements masquerading as truth. I’d like to see Obama “disappear from the scene” as he “goes into obscurity.” Then maybe Sarah or Bobby can repair some of the damage he has done. (American Spectator)

Veto Kills Man

In Kentucky, licensed concealed gun carriers have the right (contained in the Constitution) to carry their guns for self-defense—except in restaurants and taverns, of course. The legislature made a law to fix that oversight and the governor vetoed it. So a stalker waited until his victim entered a place where she could not legally bring her gun and murdered a woman’s husband in a restaurant soon after. That didn't stop this murderer from bringing in HIS gun. Funny how the criminals always seem to be able to get guns and bring them in while honest people can’t. “Governor Bredesen has ignored the will of the citizens of Tennessee yet again. Bredesen’s veto of the Restaurant Carry Bill speaks volumes about his disregard for our Constitution and our Second Amendment rights. This man was elected and swore under oath to uphold our Constitution. With an overwhelming vote in both the Senate and House, our fine Legislators spoke for their Constituents by their vote supporting the Restaurant Carry Bill.”

Nikki Goeser lost her husband because a stalker wanted him “out of the way” and she could do nothing since her licensed gun was in the car because of Tennessee’s law prohibiting guns anywhere food or alcohol is served. The governor’s veto caused his death as surely as if the governor had pulled the trigger on the illegal gun the murderer used to kill him. Politicians make or break laws without considering the EFFECT of them on human beings. When are politicians going to start facing the reality that anti-gun laws DO NOT stop criminals from killing people with their illegally-obtained guns? It amazes me how STUPID these politicians are! Insane Government

This government is now being run by people who are INSANE! Israel boards a vessel run by Hamas, an Islamic terrorist organization out to DESTROY Israel, to INSPECT it. They TOLD them ANY vessel going to Gaza was subject to inspection. But the people on board attacked the boarders, causing nine of them to be killed. So the United Nations condemned the Israeli action and we did not veto that. This is INSANE! Israel HAS the inherent right to defend itself from people who want to kill every Jew in existence. And the UN “condemns” them for it. So who cares what an organization MADE UP OF dictators and despots thinks? They KNOW that if you raise taxes when the economy is broken it will break it worse, so what do Obama’s goons do? They raise taxes, of course! They KNOW this country is BANKRUPT. So what do they do? They pass a law taking over 1/7 of the economy, the medical profession. They KNOW that “printing money” makes ALL the money in existence worth less, therefore STEALING the difference. So what do they do? They print money 24 hours a day! These people are INSANE! That’s the only explanation I can think of. (Just common sense)

Obama Is NOT "Presidential"

“President Barack Obama doesn't deserve the reputation he's had for his style and temperament and for being gracious, civil, bipartisan and post-racial (what the hell does THAT mean?). He is often ungracious, uncivil, hyper-partisan, race-oriented and vindictive. He mocks and ridicules almost for sport. More than any president in my memory, he often does not comport himself presidentially.” This is probably the best description of the “disconnect” between the liberal media’s opinion of Obama and reality I’ve seen. Obama is as arrogant a pretender to the presidency as I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen some bad presidents. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton (both Democrats) come to mind. The sooner we can get rid of this idiot, the better. He's the worst "divider" that has ever been in the White House, though he CLAIMS to be "bringing us together." Hopefully we can replace him with someone who has the guts to repair some of the things he has done to us. We thought they were content to just sit around and feel sorry for themselves while Obama and his accomplices took away all our rights and taxed us  up to 100% of what we make! America is really stupid to think we could wrest power from the liberals once they had it. Once they get in power, they put in place many “safety factors” to keep Republicans and other non-liberal Americans from “rising up.” Imagine their surprise when they found out Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, and other non-liberals were planning to unseat them in the next two elections and replace them with “reliable conservatives. Kagan supports Book Banning

“In the first case she argued before the Supreme Court as solicitor general, Elena Kagan, President Obama's pick to join the court, argued that the federal government has the power to ban books it deems to be ‘political electioneering.’ "  The key word here is “deems.” That means the government can simply “deem” a book to be “political electioneering” and ban it. Just as they tried to “deem” their health care swindle bill as passed before the American people “rose up” and forced them to do it another way. (World Net Daily)
