Tim Russert’s son (Luke) actually asked Charlie Rangel if he was afraid of losing his job because he didn’t pay his taxes and Charlie “went off” on him, saying he was SURPRISED a reporter would ASK such a question. That tells me a lot about today’s reporting when a tax cheat who actually WRITES tax law is “surprised” that a reporter would actually ASK him a question about it. We no longer have an honest media (except for the “alternative media”). Rangel is like the old Mafia boss who finally got asked a real question by the cops and has the cop killed. These guys think they can’t be touched, and they’re wrong. We can send them home to retirement and even some to prison if we can get the means of prosecution out of their hands. It’s about time we got rid of these criminals in congressional clothes. Maybe in November . . . (
