"The Dreams of My Father"

That’s the title of one of Obama’s books, and the “dreams of his father” are telling. As were the “dreams of his grandfather.” Both were communists, as was his grandmother. His grandfather was TORTURED by the British for being a communist. That's why one of his first acts as president was to send back the bust of Churchill they gave Bush. Is it just possible that these “dreams” have affected his thinking? Communism is dead—at least, that’s what all the communists left want us to believe. They want us to believe there is not a communist government in China, or Cuba, or Venezuela, and many other countries that aren’t necessarily communist (semantics), but ARE socialist, all of which will one day fail because they all suppress the ONE thing that can make them prosper: private enterprise and INCENTIVE.

Now Obama wants to also suppress private enterprise. He has SWORN to “bankrupt the coal industry,” completely ignoring the importance of that industry to our well-being, and our very economy. He decries the effect of LOWERING taxes, ignoring the fact it has INCREASED the “tax take” every time it has been tried. What’s WRONG with this man? Is he stupid? No. He’s just a committed, radical SOCIALIST and is working hard to impose it on this country. We need to “geld” him politically in the 2010 election, and GET RID OF HIM in 2012 (Instapundit)

“Former Congressman William Jefferson, the New Orleans Democrat with bribery cash hidden in his freezer, was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison, the longest-ever for a Member of Congress on a corruption charge --yet the CBS Evening News didn't utter a word about it, just as that newscast ignored his August conviction, while ABC's World News didn't bother to mention his party affiliation.” This is important news in the REAL world, but ABC and CBS don’t want news of this DEMOCRAT’S imprisonment for corruption to upset their election applecart in November. But it won’t, in any case. Their applecart is already upset by the way they have spent taxpayer money lavishly in ways MOST Americans not only don’t want, but about which they are outraged. I'm Getting Tired Of It

I tell people and tell people what Obama is doing to them, and they don’t listen. Only people who already know DO listen and there aren’t yet enough of them sufficiently outraged to do anything concrete. There are so many outrages out there that I just don’t have the time OR energy to write about them all, and way too many people don’t believe me, anyway. If doing this weren’t what keeps me alive by keeping my mind occupied and busy, I’d just stop. The liberals go right on stealing from us and nobody seems able to stop them, or even slow them down. I hope they can be slowed down a LITTLE, for a while, in the next two November elections, but I have no faith they will with so many ignorant people voting people like Obama, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Nancy Peelosi, and others too numerous to even remember, much less mention into office, thus allowing them to make laws stealing what is ours, and taking away our rights, one by one. I despair for my children and grandchildren, and their children and grandchildren. If these liberals are not stopped, we’re doomed to be the next Soviet Union. (Just common sense)

Stupidest Statement Ever Made!

That is Nancy Peelosi’s statement that “We need to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” That’s not how we do things in America. Any congressperson that votes for a bill he/she hasn’t read and understands is guilty of malfeasance and needs to be removed from office. One congressman even SCOFFED at the idea of having to READ the bills they vote on because they’re too long and the leaders don’t give them long enough to read them. That’s not an excuse. That’s something that needs to be CHANGED! To hand you a thousand page bill and set a vote for less than 24 hours away is CRIMINAL! Nancy needs to be disciplined. She is an EXAMP0LE of how this government thinks it knows best and is better than the rest of us. In this, she’s wrong, and needs to be disabused of this notion. (Just common sense)

Why Hamstring American Oil?

Oil companies employ 9 million people in the United States. So why is Obama putting more and more taxes and regulations on ONLY them, while limiting the places where they can drill and allowing foreign oil companies like BP to drill? Is he so stupid he doesn’t know how much this can HURT this country? He’s raising and imposing new taxes on private business all the time, while knowing that will HINDER business. Private business is the KEY to an economic renewal. It provides the money Obama and his friends steal to pay for all their “giveaway programs.” You know, the ones they use to buy votes? I guess it’s true that he IS trying to overburden the system, causing a systemic failure he can use to impose socialism on us. (Just common sense)
