You’re wondering why it took ten years for the Afghan terrorists to “wear down” the Russians? Now it has been revealed that insidious corruption in Iran, running right up to Karzai himself, actually took much of the money WE sent there to help those the war has hurt and used it to fund the Taliban. Was not the same thing happening then? They stop short of saying Karzai himself is involved, but I think it is instructive to see that at least ONE “money man” who has been charged in the past, has had the charges against him dropped, by Karzai himself, several times. Why they always exclude Karzai from accusations of corruption, I don’t know. Maybe because he, like Obama in this country, CONTROLS the means of prosecution for those accused, and people are AFRAID to accuse him. But it is easy to figure that if this corruption is as widespread as it is, he probably is involved. And his action in dropping the charges against at least ONE man who WAS charged, several times, tells me a lot. No wonder we can’t seem to make a lot of progress in this war. We’re fighting the Afghan government, too, under the table. (
