The New THOMA$ REPORT on Friday, December 31, 2010 5:16:42 PM
Ed Schultz thinks Obama’s had a much more successful first two years than did Ronald Reagan. In some ways, he’s right. Reagan didn’t have a “rubber stamp” Congress and had to fight for every advance. Obama had a majority in both houses fro the “get-go.” Of course, what Schultz calls “successful,” the “average American” would call disastrous. Reagan didn’t suffer nearly the drubbing at the polls that Obama did in 2010, and there’s a good reason for that. Everything Obama did was something the American people HATED. So now they’re working hard to first, get rid of his majority (which they did, in the House, while reducing it in the Senate), then get rid of HIM in 2012. I’d say they’ve made a good start. (
