Lower the goal posts. Obama wanted to be able to say “the middle class is growing” under him. And it is. With the stroke of a pen, the “middle class” increased, big time. He raised the number at which you become rich to $1 million dollars, from its earlier figure of $250,000. which put a lot more people back from “rich” to “middle class.” Isn’t it nice to find out you’re no longer “rich” by definition? It’s nice to be able to make a lot of people no longer “rich,” just by signing an order, isn’t it? Sure is nice being president. (
