He took $600 billion in taxpayer money and bought our own debt. Meanwhile Obama was making more new debt than he was buying. The only thing it accomplished was “treading water,” if anything at all. Let’s face it; Bernanke blew it. He has no idea what to do next to stop, or even slow down the recession and keep it from becoming a full-blown DEpression. Everything he does is on Obama’s orders and neither one of them have any idea what they’re doing. Bernanke doesn’t know, and Obama doesn’t CARE. Gas prices continue to go up apace and Obama couldn’t care less. He doesn’t have to buy gas any more; it’s paid for by the government. Neither does his wife, both of whom fly all over the world at taxpayer expense, on specious :missions.” (but which I call vacations). Somebody needs to take away the keys to Treasury’s printing presses and give them to somebody who knows what they’re doing; or shut the FED down completely (which I recommend). We never should have started the Fed, anyway. We didn’t NEED it, we don’t WANT it, and it has HURT us. (
