This should be a defining moment in politics and the men responsible FIRED, some imprisoned, including Obama: the government “running guns” to the Mexican drug cartels and getting a Border Patrol agent KILLED. This is NOT “just” a political thing. It’s Brian Terry’s DEATH, and Obama is ultimately responsible because it couldn’t have happened without his knowledge and approval, no matter how much he may deny it—if he’s ever asked, which I doubt. The thug he’s got in charge of the DOJ says when he found out about it he STOPPED it. But when did he find out about it? Didn’t something like this REQUIRE his approval BEFORE it was done? If he didn’t know about it, he is INCOMPETENT, as is Obama. But neither will ever take the blame for this man’s death. Mark it. (Mary Chastain/Big Journalism)

"No Easy Fixes"

That’s what Obama says about the foreign oil problem. He thinks we “can’t drill our way out of it.” And in that, he’s right. We can drill all we want, but until we start building new refineries (no new ones in more than 30 years) it won’t do us a bit of good to drill for, and find oil on our own soil. But there is THIS: if we DID drill, and had been drilling in recently, while continuing to build refineries, there wouldn’t BE a problem. We might not be able to drill for enough oil to supply our own needs, but just the fact we ARE drilling would frighten OPEC enough they would drop their prices. We could do that by just a small percentage of us using synthetic oil, which needs only a tiny bit of fossil oil in the blend. Another thing would be to strop requiring 47 different blends of gasoline in different parts of the country. Somebody needs to slap Obama upside the head and wake him up to reality. (Mail.com)

We're Paying for It (As Usual)

Fannie and Freddie were closed down in 2008 (just before the election, surprise, surprise!) and reopened shortly after Democrats prevailed in that election and given unlimited funds to continue being the “safety valve” for the idiocy that is “Community Reinvestment Act of 1976.” that forced lenders to loan money to deadbeats. Three of their executives are under indictment for fraud (fiddling the numbers to get bonuses) and being prosecuted by the feds. Guess who’s spending millions to DEFEND them? The FEDS, of course! US! Taxpayers! We’re paying for BOTH SIDES of this action. Why? Under what logical reason would we be paying for BOTH SIDES of a prosecution? Somebody TELL me, PLEASE! (Cowboy Byte)

Do Independents Care?

Democrats keep talking about “compromise” as something the “independents” cared about. But what do they mean by that? They mean for US to agree with THEM and compromise our own values so as to accept theirs. The “independents” never mention it when the liberals (Democrats) refuse to “compromise” with US and insist on going their own way. Like Obama saying, “If Congress doesn’t act, I’ll do it without them.” Obama is not Congress’ boss. They are equal partners in governing America. He does not have the RIGHT to do ANYTHING “without Congress” if they oppose him. And “the independents” say nothing. Only when WE don’t “cooperate.” (Just common sense)

Why Only Five Years?

Whitey Bulger was a mobster. He disappeared 16 years ago after ordering the deaths of 19 people (and that’s only the ones we know about). So when we recently caught this mass murderer, we prosecuted him—and gave him FIVE YEARS in prison. Five years for killing 19 PEOPLE! What’s WRONG with our justice system? And this guy isn’t even a Democrat politician! But he got FIVE YEARS to pay for 19 murders! I’d like to see their logic in giving this mass murderer only five years. (The Gothamist)

Global Caliphate Conference

“The relentless decline of Capitalism has begun. The time has come to fight against poverty. Time to obliterate the injustices. Time for the correct system.” So declares a video promoting “Caliphate conference 2012” to be held in Austria. I can’t believe they actually think there is a chance of a “global caliphate” anywhere but in Islamic-controlled states. They seem to think Islam is better at eliminating poverty than a proven system like the free market, which caused America to be the most economically successful country in the world in less than 300 years, while all other systems, INCLUDING those in use in Islamic-controlled countries, have languished with high rates of poverty. That you don’t hear this is testament to their effectiveness in keeping information from getting out. A lot of “important people” are wasting their time at this conference, which will create nothing. The conference was organized by Hazb ut-Tahrir, an Islamic terrorism organization that is banned in many countries other than Austria. (The Blaze)

The Best Gun Salesman in America

It’s Obama. Did you know that December 2011 saw the biggest increase in gun sales EVER for a single month? That states reporting show an increase of almost 50% in the number of gun sales? That Federal Excise Taxes collected on gun sales have gone up 48.3%? How about Rueger’s gun sales going from $117 Million to $232 million? Or Winchester’s gun sales going from $431.7 million to $572 million since Obama was elected? Since he was elected, applications for concealed carry permits rose from46% to 161%. Looks to me as if Americans are increasingly seeing a need for self defense since Obama got in the white House. So Obama, who says he “hates guns,” is the reason for a huge increase in gun sales. A Messiah college professor comes to Obama’s defense in an article published on Patheos.com. “John Fea, who chairs the Grantham, Pennsylvania, college’s history department, wrote that President Barack Obama ‘may be the most explicitly Christian president in American history.’ Considering the ongoing debate over religious freedom and the contraceptive mandate that has been foisted upon the Catholic Church, this commentary comes at an interesting time.” Then there’s his following Rev. Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, who says, “God DAMN America!” Not to mention his favoring the Muslim faith every time he gets a chance. If he isn’t a Muslim, he’s certainly a Muslim sympathizer, which is his right. But as president of a Christian nation, he has no right to HIDE his Muslim faith if he is, indeed, a Muslim. (The Blaze)

Georgia To Regulate Vasectomies?

They’ve introduced a bill to do so (I'll bet it was a Democrat), saying, “Thousands of children are deprived of birth in this state because of a lack of regulation.” Which way do they WANT it? Many abortions are performed with the approval of the state and THOSE children are deprived of birth. Maybe one day these politicians will get on the same page. But I doubt it. They don’t check with one another to see if their ideas are workable. They just go ahead. Frankly, I think MURDERING unborn babies is much worse than simply preventing their conception. What’s next? Banning rubbers and all kinds of contraception? The feds would like that. It would ’give legs” to their fantasy that many people want to ban contraception; something they came up with to get our attention off the “out of control” economy Obama has saddled us with long enough for him to get re-elected. Israel's Attack On Iran

Seems to me that Ahmadinijerk WANTS Israel to attack his nuclear plants so he can retaliate. What he doesn’t realize (he’s not too bright) is that if Israel attacks this time it won’t be a simple attack on his nuclear plants. It will be an attack to take HIM out so those nuclear plants will be moot. And if it is found that the Mullahs will continue his policies, they’ll be “taken out,” too. And no matter how much the “Arab world” gripes, it will be a good thing to do away with the likes of Ahmadinijerk before he does some REAL damage, as Hitler did when we ignored his excesses. Doing Something About It

Some people think we should do nothing about Bashir Assad killing THOUSANDS of his own people in his effort to stay in power. SHOULD we do something? IS it our business if a murderous fool like Assad kills his own people to stay in power? ABSOLUTELY. An American correspondent lost her life hours after he released a story about a FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD Assad’s forces killed in his effort to stay in power. NOBODY this murderous has any right to be in power in ANY country, let alone be alive. There are some people in this world who don’t DESERVE to be alive, and Assad is one of them. We need to at the very LEAST arm his enemies and give them advice on how to proceed to take him down. It’s the least we can do. If Obama did the things he has done, he’d be dead in a New York minute. And I’d be in the front of the line to do it. You fools monitoring the writing of people like me to find an excuse to shut us up, take note: I said IF Obama did the things Assad did. How Liberals Handle Disagreement

Intelligent adults handle disagreement with discussion and debate. Most liberals don’t. Rush Limbaugh says it takes about 30 seconds to lapse into name-calling when presented with an argument they cannot answer, and in my experience, he’s right. I know many liberals, and for the most part I stay away from politics when I talk to them because most of them think they know it all and I know nothing. Granted, there are a few who CALL themselves liberals who just don’t pay attention to politics. But most of them who are just ignorant, don’t take themselves too seriously. I don’t use the word “ignorance” pejoratively. Ignorance is a simple lack of information; stupidity is HAVING information and still acting ignorantly. That describes the biggest number of liberals I know. I ask any liberal who gets in a political discussion with me not to engage in name-calling, For that reveals your ignorance or stupidity—whichever it is with you. It must be, for intelligent people cannot LOGICALLY be liberals. The liberal dogma just doesn’t work, just as socialism doesn’t work. There is a BASIC flaw in liberal reasoning, if they use it at all. Many liberals say there is no such thing as logic. And that’s a logical assumption for them. (Glenn Beck)

"Let Them Eat Cake"

How many of you have gone on SIXTEEN VACATIONS in four years? How many of you could AFFORD to go on sixteen vacations in four years? The Obamas can, because they have made a lot of money out of him becoming president and having written (with other writer’s help) two books about it. They also have an “open pocketbook” when it comes to security. They spend more on security than most people spend on ALL their vacations. Then they talk about “understanding poverty” while CREATING it for many Americans. Obama thinks people should not have too high aspirations. That they should aspire to raise their children, have their own home, send their kids to college, and that’s it. If they EARN more, he’s going to punish them. He’s going to take it away from them, in the form of taxes. Forget 16 vacations in 4 years. That’s not part of his expectations for YOU, only for himself and his family. What he proposes is SOCIALISM. “FROM each according to his ABILITY, and TO each according to his NEED,” Making NEED a claim on the EARNINGS of those with ABILITY. That means if you have ABILITY, you must give an increasing portion of what you EARN to those INCAPABLE of earning. (Washington Examiner)

Economy Not Getting Better

Obama wants us to think the economy is getting significantly better by twisting the numbers. One method is what they call “seasonally adjusted numbers.” That’s “code words” for MAKING UP the base on which they FIGURE the results. They REDUCE the number of people still looking for jobs when figuring the numbers so that they can cite a smaller PERCENTAGE of people looking for work. One thing that has a big effect is the number of people who have GIVEN UP on ever FINDING a job and have left the “work force.” Obama hopes enough people will not be paying enough attention for him to get re-elected. Hopefully, he will be wrong on that. I’m working as hard as I can to tell as many people as I can about his scam. (The Blaze)

IS Obama A Christian?

I don’t know. But it would make no difference to me if he wasn’t. But it sure seems like if he ISN’T a Muslim, he certainly leans in their direction with all the policy changes he has made that benefit them. Then he goes out and says, “There’s a mosque in every state in the Union” without making any reference to the fact that there are NO Christian churches in ANY country run by Muslims. If there are when the Muslims take over, they’re either harassed out of business or soon gone. I get sick and tired of the “special arrangements” that seem to always get made to benefit Muslims in this country. I have nothing against Muslims, but will resist to the death any effort they make to impose their “religion” on me whether or not I want it. (The Blaze)
