Misplaced Priorities

There are many important things going on in the world, including an economy that is fast going to hell and a president who is helping it along, on purpose. High gas prices, fueled by the administration’s refusal to allow drilling anywhere the United States runs things. High unemployment, and a president who helps make tit worse while telling you it's getting better. Millions of Americans are out of work and businesses going “down the tubes” in high numbers. A president who thinks Americans are so ignorant that he “has five more years” in which to screw us all. Yet the most important subject of all in Denver, Colorado, is the coming of Peyton Manning. You can’t go ANYWHERE that they aren’t cussing and discussing this subject. The Denver Broncos have a reputation for crapping on their quarterbacks, so we know Tim Tebow is in deep trouble. His time as a Bronco is soon to end. It’s a common story with this team, so we know it’s going to happen. But is it important in the grand scheme of things? Not in the least. Football is just a game and it NOT all that important. I know I’ll get a lot of flack for that, but it isn’t in any way as important as the economy, unemployment, high gas prices, continually rising taxes and inflation, printing money by the TRILLIONS of dollars, and the government’s role in all these things. Anti-Gun Laws Contribute to Mass Shootings

There was another mass shooting on a campus the other day; where it is KNOWN that guns are not allowed to be in the hands of honest people to allow them to defend themselves against such attacks. Such shootings and killings will not only continue, but will increase in numbers and intensity as long as we continue to deprive honest people of the right to carry the means of self defense, their own guns. It can only get worse. The “anti-gun fools” think making a LAW against gun ownership will cause CRIMINALS, who break laws for a LIVING will obey one that says they can’t be armed. Anti-gun laws do one thing: create an abundance of unarmed victims that illegal gun carrying criminals can exploit, while crazies go into crowded spaces with their ILLEGAL guns and start shooting everybody in sight, with no fear that someone close by might have their own LEGAL gun and shoot them dead. That’s the SINGLE RESULT of keeping guns out of the hands of honest people so they can’t defend themselves. And don’t tell me the cops can do it; they can’t. All they can do is document the crime and identify the body or bodies killed by illegal criminal-carried guns AFTER the fact. John Lott (“More Guns, Less Crime”) said that if armed criminals feared death at the hands of an armed potential victim, they’d go into another line of work. That depriving honest people of the means to their own self defense was tantamount to saying to criminals, “Come on and victimize us. We won’t shoot you, we have no guns.” That’s common sense and logic, but is denied by those who want to get rid of all guns. That will never happen, but they deny that, too. Obama's Phony Numbers

It’s easy to lie to the American people if you control access to the numbers. Then you can “finesse” them and make things look like what they’re not. And that’s Obama’s game. Obama’s numbers are at an all-time low, and he is resorting to calling the pollsters “stupid.” He’s desperate. No president has ever won re-election with numbers so low. Then there’s his mythical “war on women” the Republicans are supposed to be waging. Only problem is, there is no such thing. It was all manufactured by Obama’s forces while at the same time THEY are waging a “war” on every strong woman who comes along in the Republican Party. They think they’ve destroyed Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. But I wouldn’t count either one out yet. Then there’s the economy and the budget. They use tactics like “doubling down” on the CBO numbers to make it LOOK like Obama’s health care swindle is costing less than it really is by using a static measurement when the numbers are really dynamic and keep moving. They think Americans will just PAY their increased taxes instead of taking steps to avoid them. They won’t, but Obama does the figures as if they would. They then “scratch their heads” when more money doesn’t flow into the treasury and ask, “Wh—wh-what happened?” I’ve always said Obama would rather lie than tell the truth, even when the truth would serve better. Socialism Isn't The Answer

Communist China has the fastest growing economy in the world today, but socialism (communism) isn’t the reason why. They are growing fast, not because of socialism, but in SPITE of it. They fool themselves that their “central planning” system is working, but it is only “working” while SUPPORTED by whatever amount of the free market they allow their “subjects” to engage in, plus their own use of the free market in selling their “slave-made” goods to the rest of the world at prices so low that countries that have to pay decent wages can’t afford to compete with. Now they’re “pledging” to keep their socialism, the ONE THING that hinders them. This shows what perfect FOOLS they are. They’ll tell you America can’t keep up with them with our free market, but it’s Obama’s SOCIALIST policies that make that true. (Mail.com)

Obama Lies Steadily

He’s a FOOL when it comes to running this country. He says “We can’t drill our way out of the problem” of runaway gasoline prices. No, we can’t, not after politicians in Washington have made what was a small problem into a massive one. If those politicians (on both sides) had not HINDERED American oil companies in their efforts to find more oil where WE run things, while allowing environmentalists to keep us from building a single refinery in more than THIRTY YEARS, we wouldn’t have to “drill our way” out of the problem. So now, because of those politicians (including Obama), we are in a position where we CAN’T drill enough in a short time to “catch up” on the drilling we SHOULD have been doing, all along. But if we start drilling in earnest, right now, that fact alone will frighten the OPEC crowd and others who control oil prices into lowering their prices, which will have an amazing effect upon our gasoline prices, almost immediately. But he’s not smart enough to put two and two together and figure that out.

Obama is still blaming Republicans for forcing a too-short timeline on him concerning the Keystone XL Pipeline fro Canada to Texas, which is about as phony an excuse as I’ve heard. The Republicans don’t currently have enough power in the Congress to force ANYTHING on this president. What he’s counting on is that too many people don’t pay enough attention to politics to know that. He has blocked almost ALL efforts to go after the oil we can find through the “fracking” technology because his environmentalist friends won’t allow it. They SAY there’s nothing a president, of either party can do about gas prices, but that’s patently a lie. A president can BLOCK all efforts to lower prices with his policies, which will cause prices to AUTOMATICALLY go up—and up—and UP, until we can no longer afford to drive our cars—which is just what liberals and environmentalists (a repetition, that) want. Environmentalists were ecstatic when this government stupidly lowered the national speed limit to 55 MPH. Fortunately, after way too long a time, cooler heads prevailed and that stupidity ended. Lower speeds caused cars to be on the road much longer to get anywhere which put a lot more “bad stuff” into the air. So we got a net loss in that department. (Mail.com)

Cutting Coast Guard Cutters

This is just another example of Obama doing just the opposite of what he says he’s going to do. It’s like firing a bunch of Border Patrol agents so they can’t do as good a job of protecting our borders, thus making holes that allow more and more Islamic terrorists to sneak in and kill more and more Americans. Obama is doing everything he can to make it easier for Islamic terrorists to enter this country and do their dastardly deeds. We need to get rid of this fool before he “throws the door open” and says, “come on in and kill us” to Islamic terrorists and any others who want to hurt us. (Heritage Foundation)

"No Silver Bullet"

That’s what Obama says: “There’s no 'silver bullet' to lower gas prices.” But there IS. It is for Obama to GET OUT OF THE WAY and let the oil companies drill. Not in my backyard, but where there is KNOWN oil reserves. That alone will so frighten OPEC and other controllers of oil prices that they will IMMEDIATELY lower the price of oil, which will cause gasoline prices to also go down. What is there about this that Obama does not understand? One of their excuses is that it will “take years” to realize benefit from drilling TODAY. But if we had stated drilling years ago, we’d be seeing the benefits NOW. What is there he doesn’t understand about THAT? (Huffington Post)

Obama Makes It Worse

The Post Office is in danger of going the way of the buggy whip maker, and for the same reason. And Obama is hastening it. Yes, the need for the physical delivery of paper mail is reducing. But this president, who put billions, even trillions of dollars, into failing environmental schemes, is going to hasten the demise of the Post Office by stopping using the mails to deliver the billions of government checks they send out every month. But will it happen too early? What about people who don’t HAVE e-mail? I’m sure they can design technology to replace many of their services. But will it happen in time? And what if the recipients don’t WANT to use a debit card or give the government their bank info? (Yahoo Finance)

"Natural Causes?"

Andrew Breitbart is dead; of “natural causes.” At 43. Do you really think his death was from “natural causes” at age 43? Breitbart was a “thorn in the side” of most liberals, and I’m sure they are “dancing in the streets” at his death. But you know there ARE ways to kill somebody while leaving no trace. Is that what happened here? Will we ever know? We’re waiting for the autopsy, but will it tell us anything? Doubtful. People who are “thorns in the side’ to liberals sometimes end up dead from suspicious causes. God knows, enough of them died when Clinton was president, just before they were to testify to crimes he had committed. Rest in peace, Andrew. We hardly knew ye, but we loved what you did; those of us who love truth, that is. (Newsday)

Paying Ransom

It’s becoming routine: various Islamic-run countries phonying up various false charges against various Americans, threatening to try them for “espionage” or other crimes, then releasing them after the United States “pays ransom.” They CALL it “bail,” as Iran did when they kidnapped several people who were simply wandering in the mountains close to their borders. They Egypt got an idea to get America to give them a lot more money than they already were. They kidnapped several people, including the son of an American high-ranking official, claimed they were committing crimes, threatened to try and imprison them, then released them after we paid $300,000 “bail.” (ransom). Of course, Obama paid it. What we ought to do is stop ALL foreign aid to ANY country that tries this scam. We should make it very costly to try and scam us out of money. They say this "threatened" to break the long-time alliance with Washington. From my position, that "alliance" is already broken, not "threatened." (New York Times)

"Innocent" Life?

Obama says the “civilians” killed in that supposed “unwarranted shooting” by one soldier in Afghanistan were “innocent.” But he doesn’t know they were. Even CHILDREN and women are combatants in this “no-war” war. You can’t tell the difference between “civilians” and combatants when the combatants wear no uniforms and look just LIKE “civilians,” In this case, if it is properly investigated without bias, I think it will be found that this soldier was defending himself against a Taliban attack and those children and women killed were actively engaged in attacking him, or were simply “collateral damage,” such as can be expected in a war of this kind. Islamic terrorists are well known for “setting up” situations like this, using their own women and children, supported by “eye witness accounts” by other Taliban members to CREATE a situation that is to their benefit. Frankly, I think that "Koran burning" incident was similarly a setup. Muslims themselves wrote messages in their Korans, therefore defiling them, KNOWING they would be taken away from them and disposed of, knowing we dispose of old, useless BIBLES by burning. they could predict with accuracy we would burn the Korans. We burn our own FLAGS, fergawd'ssake! That is the PROPER way to dispose of an old or damaged flag. (Just common sense)

New York Times Lies

I’ve always known it, but now it has been PROVEN. The NYT LIES in their news stories to promote their liberal agenda. So if you read it at all, don’t believe ANYTHING you read in the New York Times because it is the mouthpiece for the Democrat Party and other liberals. This particular story is designed to discredit the “rich” in the person of those “eeevil” Koch brothers. The times is an “ever-shrinking entity” and they can’t figure out why. Maybe it’s because people are getting tired of reading all the liberal crap they spout. I’d be tired of it even if I were a liberal, they spout so much.  I doubt if they’ll figure that out before they go out of business, and to me, that’ll be “good riddance to bad rubbish.” (Breitbart on YouTube)

What A LOAD!

Afghanis say an American soldier “opened fire” on a bunch of Afghani “civilians,” killing 16 of them, some of them women and children. I’d bet a lot of money the “civilians” he “opened fire on” were Taliban, who first attacked HIM, and that the children killed were accidental, probably killed by the Afghans themselves. This is a major problem in a war where the combatants look exactly like civilians and hide among them, with the REAL civilians remaining silent, either out of fear, or simply that they agree with the Taliban. But there is NO REASON why a soldier would simply “open fire” on “innocent” civilians. This looks like just one more effort by the Taliban in their campaign to “drive a wedge” between the Afghan government and the U. S., hoping to drive the U. S. troops out so they can have a freer hand in killing Afghan citizens. If we allow this to happen, they’ll WISH they had some American troops to protect them from the Taliban. I get so tired of this propaganda crap put out by Islamic terrorists. (Mail.com)

Obama’s government is spending $750,000 to build yet ANOTHER volleyball field for prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. Why? They SAY it helps keep violence down. Wouldn’t punishing  (and isolating) those who foment violence work just as well without having to spend more of our non-existent money? We bend over way too much forward and let the lsamics do to us what others do to those who bend over in that direction. One of our liberal news networks even has “bend over” as their motto. Censoring (Only) Limbaugh

The media wants to censor Rush Limbaugh because he said the wrong words in describing the Democrat plant they schemed to get into Congress to “testify” about why the government should pay for her contraceptives because she screwed around so much it was just too big a slice of her budget. Why SHE should have to pay for her contraceptives anyway is a mystery to me. Her guy (or guys) should do it. But they’re right, He shouldn’t have called her a prostitute and a sl-t. He should have called her a PARASITE on society, which she is. Like the OWS gang, she wants a “free ride.” They painted her as just a simple law student, but she has actually been a long-time activist in contraceptive and abortion (pro) matters whose appearances on TV are planned by one of Obama's close associate PR companies. But they don’t want us to know that. Meanwhile, they say not a word about Bill Maher’s constantly crude language because they agree with what he says. Not so with Rush. They want “free speech,” but only so long as that “free speech” agrees with their foolish notions. This double standard has been around so long that only those who pay no attention to politics but who vote anyway, will fall for it. This report only talks about “hypocritical cable networks,” but they forget where the biggest bunch of double standard reporting exists, the broadcast networks. (Media Research Center)
