Fiddling the Numbers (Again)

I’ve talked about this many times, but it seems nobody (who counts in this government, anyway) cares about it. Nobody else seems to care about it, either. Not enough to raise a "hue and cry" about the dishonesty of it, anyway. Obama is “fiddling the numbers” in the unemployment picture by refusing to count those who have been unemployed so long they have GIVEN UP looking for a job. That reduces the SIZE of the “labor force” upon which he discerns the PERCENTAGE of the unemployed so he can CLAIM a lower number. Even that lower number is too high at 8%. But if ALL those out of work were actually COUNTED, the unemployment figures would be at 11% or HIGHER, And he can’t have that, so he LIES about it, as usual. Yes, I know; other administrations have lied similarly, but Obama more than most. Further, just because others have used the same swindle doesn’t make it right. And his lie is affecting us NOW. Homeless Ban In Denver

The Denver City Council has taken the “first step” in creating a ban on sleeping in city-owned parks for the homeless. The homeless say they have a RIGHT to sleep there. I disagree, and agree wholeheartedly with the ban. Most homeless are homeless by CHOICE because they’re too lazy to work. Those who are unemployable because of mental problems should be in an institution instead of wandering around on the streets bothering people who work for a living. When I was security on a downtown post office it was an ongoing problem dealing with homeless people coming in and making trouble. Sometimes with violence, SOMETHING should be done about the homeless (who used to be called “bums”) but not something that will ENABLE them. The “Occupy Wherever” fools take advantage of the laws enabling homelessness to flaunt the law while actually setting up “tent cities” on public property where they have sex and defecate in front of everybody while others pee on squad cars while DARING the cops to do anything about it. They leave monumental messes behind when they leave and it costs US millions of taxpayer dollars to clean up after them Critics say the law would CRIMINALIZE homelessness. SOMETHING better. Was Breitbart Murdered?

I’m not a “conspiracy theorist,” but that doesn’t mean Andrew Breitbart, one of the most effective critics of Obama’s government, died unexpectedly while walking in Brentwood at a very young age, wasn't murdered. He was just about to release a video he thought would be very damaging to Obama. Reminds me of that LIST of similar deaths under suspicious circumstances, of a number of people over the years just before they were to release or testify to damaging info about Bill Clinton. Now Michael Cormier, the coroner who may have done his autopsy, has died of (possible) arsenic poisoning on the same day Breitbart’s cause of death was to be announced. Does that mean SOMEONE didn’t want him to be able to dispute it and was willing to kill to make sure? The announcement said the death was “natural” and no “hanky panky” was suspected. Could Cormier dispute that? Was he killed to keep that from happening? (Washington Times)

They Should Be Proud

I’m not very excited about Romney as president, but Bugs Bunny would be a better president than Obama, ANY time. I’m not going to contribute to his campaign because I NEVER contribute to political campaigns. But the people Obama NAMED and tried to SHAME for doing so to the Romney campaign should be PROUD. “The Obama reelection team has publicly accused eight private citizens who donated to the Mitt Romney campaign of ‘betting against America’ and of having ‘less-than-reputable’ records.” Actually, they are PATRIOTS who are tired of being STOLEN from by this con man in the White House and should be PROUD. This is typical of how liberals (Democrats) operate: try and embarrass people by scorning them for doing something good, but not something LIBERALS think is good. (The Blaze)

Civil Unions: I'm All For It

If gays and lesbians want to be able to make a contract with each other that gives them rights identical to married people, I’m all for it. I don’t care a what what they do in their bedrooms. They should have the right to protect their partners if they become sick or die. But they can’t have the name, “marriage.” That seems to be what they want, though. Even to the extent of refusing to go along with any law that gives them EVERYTHING they demand, but that. They want the word “marriage,” and that’s ALL they want. They’ll take the rest if it’s offered, but they want to be able to call themselves, “married.” In Denver, they’re looking at a “civil union” law and gays are still not impressed. (Channel 9, Denver)

Eric Holder, Mark Rich, and many others were pardoned; six-year-old Elian Gonzales was forcefully captured and shipped off to Cuba, that Island prison run by the Castros; after campaigning on “no new taxes,” his first month in office saw one of the biggest tax increases yet, and it was unconstitutional, being retroactive; laws were changed, allowing us to teach the communist Chinese how to aim their missiles without breaking the law; Clinton got oral sex in the White House while Islamic terrorists waited in the outer office; he taught America’s children that oral sex was NOT sex, and so increased the incidence of oral sex among high schoolers, and even among some grade schoolers; almost 100 people died (many of them children) at Waco, Texas, at the hands of Janet Reno, his Attorney General (who was never punished). These are just a FEW of the things that happened under Clinton, the third worst president in my memory. Barack Obama is THE worst, and Jimmy Carter the second worst. (Just common sense)

Brian Williams of (who else?) NBC praised Bill Clinton for his “efforts to get bin Laden” when there WERE none. Bill Clinton was “offered Osama’s head on a platter” FOUR TIMES and he refused every time. Why did it take us ELEVEN YEARS to find bin Laden? Because we weren’t looking. Bill, for some reason, wasn’t interested. Bush was pretty sure he had “made Osama into a crispy critter” many years ago when he bombed one of his caves with him in it. I think so, too. The terrorists worked very hard to convince us he was still alive for years after that. It’s hard to find someone who no longer exists as a living, breathing entity. Obama's people found, and KILLED one of his look-alikes and the liberal media predictably “bought it.” (Just common sense)

Obama Welcomes Islamic Terrorists

Turns away scientists and other people of intelligence. Najibulla Zazi’s own step uncle said, “He was a dumb kid.” Why did Obama’s administration WELCOME him while blocking the immigration of some Swedish scientists and nuclear engineers? Could it be it was because he would do a job no American would do: drive a cab? What? I drove a cab off and on since I was 25. I even tried to do it again after heart surgery cost me my security job because they were afraid I’d have a heart attack on duty. Unfortunately the “powers that be” in Denver had made it impossible for me to make a living driving a cab, so I quit. Zazi recently pleaded guilty in a plot to bomb the New York subway. This is what some Middle-East immigrants, chiefly Muslims, do. Repay our kindness by KILLING innocent people. But Obama’s government welcomed him. Why? An accomplice, Adis Medunjanin, had become a citizen lately, so a New York Times article about it saw fit to emphasize that he was “an American citizen.” The story was that “an American citizen” was convicted of terrorist charges.” Why emphasize that and not the terrorist charges? We are “fighting” this war (declared by the Islamic terrorists) in the most STUPID way I’ve ever seen, maybe because I wasn’t “paying attention” during the Viet Nam war and so didn’t notice how STUPIDLY the liberals in office then “fought” that war. Another liberal, the late and unlamented Teddy Kennedy, had the law changed in 1965 to allow more immigrants from the “Third World” while LIMITING the numbers of Europeans. Mitt Romney thinks we ought to “staple a green card to the diploma of any immigrant who gets one.” Not to give ignorant immigrants priority. (Ann Coulter)

Stop Burning Bibles, Then

Muslim extremists get ALL “bent out of shape” when people burn Korans in protest for one of their atrocities. I’ve got some advice for them: stop burning Bibles and American flags and we (some of us) won’t  burn Korans in retaliation. Stop beheading American journalists and playing the videos of the beheading on television. Stop murdering innocent people and hanging their ravaged bodies on bridges. Stop killing American soldiers and dragging their dead bodies through the streets while taking videos of the atrocity and showing them. Stop murdering your own people and using Islamic terrorist-leaning “witnesses” to blame American soldiers for their deaths. Stop the “legal” killing of Christians because they decided to leave your “religion.” Muslim extremists are quick to “take offense” at the slightest criticism while they criticize us at every turn. In short, SHUT UP AND GO AWAY and we won’t bother you. Keep “coming at us” and we will wipe you from the face of the Earth, something you want to do to the Jews as well as Americans. (The Blaze)

Obama Is Our Biggest Enemy!

If he is allowed to continue, he will DESTROY this country as we know it, by making it into a SOCIALIST country. It is the FREE MARKET that is responsible for our success; the reason why so many people from all over the world want to come here to better themselves, and he is ruining that by making us more and more like socialist Europe. Many people just can’t see that because they pay no attention to politics. They don’t think politics will affect them, but they’re wrong. Politics WILL affect them, and IS affecting them every day, to their detriment. They’d better “wake up” and see what Obama is doing before it’s too late. Or maybe it’s too late already, even if we don’t re-elect this con man. If you don’t understand that, maybe you’d better do some research. (HoumaToday)

Libs In Charge When Things go To Hell

Liberals won’t tell you, but it’s liberal “leadership” that makes things “go to hell.” Look at Washington, DC with its FELON mayor who was caught dealing drugs and went to prison, then got re-elected when he got out. How about Chicago, which has been run by liberals for years, and has produced many liberal criminals to be elected to office, with that list headed by Barack Obama and Chicago’s current mayor, who used to work for Obama. Then there’s Detroit, which looks like the results of a war. New York City is one of the worst-run cities ever, and actually had to declare BANKRUPTCY once. Look at all the cities (and states like California) that are broke and you will find liberals in charge. But I can’t find any news items to bear this out because the liberal media won’t print them. But do your own research and if I’m wrong, I’d be grateful if you’d tell me. But you’d better have proof. (Just common sense)

Iraq Violence

The violence IN IRAQ created by Islamic terrorists is rising (surprise, surprise!) after American troops left. I predicted it would before they left. If I could predict it, why couldn’t Obama and his henchmen do so? Or don’t they care? Obama claims “ending the Iraq war” as a positive, but most people with intelligence see it as him “cutting and running” so he could claim to have "ended" it during the election. The Iraq war was started for a good reason: not because of their “weapons of mass destruction” but because Iraq was a terrorist sanctuary and made no bones about it. Wherever Islamic terrorists are strong, there will be violence if there is no COMPETENT person or organization there to stop them because they have ONE goal: get rid of everybody who doesn’t believe EXACTLY the same way they do, including other Muslims. The Way They Operate

Self-admitted communist Van Jones sputtered the other day, saying “conservatives want ‘slavery, segregation, children in factories’ He also said ”Glenn Beck is a hater.” Of course, he has no proof of any of this, but he says it anyway. That’s how they operate. Attribute silly things like that they can't prove to conservatives, and then criticize them for it. Jones is the former “Green Energy Czar,” appointed by Obama, who KNEW he was a communist when he appointed him. But his appointment raised such a hue and cry he found it necessary to get rid of him within days. But Jones is still flapping his lip before crowds of people who aren’t smart enough to see him for what he is. The bad thing is that Obama is one of those who aren’t smart enough to see him for what he is, or he just doesn’t care. Maybe he even looks at Jones as a “kindred spirit.” After all, Obama has espoused socialist policies and communism is just ONE kind of socialism. Maybe he just doesn’t see anything wrong with people like Jones, while people of more intelligence do. (The Blaze)
