A Clear Choice

One of the problems we face is that most of the time, it’s hard to tell which of the two candidates emerging from the primaries (who are the ONLY choices we're allowed) is the best one for the job of president of the United States of America. Not so this time. Obama is a “mystery man” who will not release records of his past life because it would reveal his communist/socialist background and foreign birth (which makes him an illegal president). A man who thinks the best way to a better economy is to suck more money out of the taxpayer, not allow the producers of society to keep more of the money they earn, so they can invest it in jobs, and profit-creating projects that will make us ALL money, and he is hard at work to do that. He is a dedicated, frankly ZEALOUS collectivist (socialist, communist, Fascist, progressive, etc.) extremist who is working as hard as he can to make this economy as BAD as possible so he can claim the free market does not work (which he has SAID), who has spent more of our money than there IS in his pursuit of making this country into a “Soviet America;” a man who thinks (and has said) “the economy is doing okay) when it clearly is NOT.

He is a man who thinks only GOVERNMENT can run things (when it clearly cannot and has DEMONSTRATED that every time it has tried ANYTHING except getting Democrats elected). He is a well-known LIAR who would rather LIE than tell the truth, even when the truth would serve better. Our other choice, while he is a typical politician, is NOT a KNOWN socialist and is NOT dedicated to making this country into a socialist bastion to replace the Soviet Union  in the world as socialism’s “showcase” as long as it lasts (Soviet Russia only lasted 70 some years while the free market has lasted so far, almost 300 years). If we allow Obama a second term, we are condemning ourselves to live under a socialist government with Obama (or someone like him) in charge as long as we live. I’d rather have Bugs Bunny as president than this fool. Bugs would do a better job than he has.We simply CANNOT AFFORD four more years of his kind of a presidency. (Just common sense)

Don't Mess With Old Folks

A young gunslinger came out of the saloon and confronted the old prospector: The young gunslinger looked at the old man and laughed, saying, "Hey old man, can you dance?" The old man looked up at the gunslinger and said, "No son, I don't dance... never really wanted to." A crowd had gathered as the gunslinger grinned and said, "Well, you old fool, you're gonna dance now!" and started shooting at the old man's feet. The old prospector, not wanting to get a toe blown off, started hopping around like a flea on a hot skillet. Everybody standing around was laughing. When his last bullet had been fired, the young gunslinger, still laughing, holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the saloon.

The old man turned to his pack mule, pulled out a double-barreled 12 gauge shotgun and cocked both hammers. The loud clicks carried clearly through the desert air. The crowd stopped laughing immediately. The young gunslinger heard the sounds too, and he turned around very slowly.The silence was deafening. The crowd watched as the young gunman stared at the old timer and the large gaping holes of those twin 12 gauge barrels.The barrels of the shotgun never wavered in the old man's hands, as he quietly said; "Son, have you ever kissed a mule's rear end?" The gunslinger swallowed hard and said, "No sir... But.... I've always wanted to."

There are a few lessons for all of us here: -Don't be arrogant. -Don't waste ammunition. -Whiskey makes you think you're smarter than you are. -Always make sure you know who is in control... And finally, Don't screw around with old folks; they didn't get old by being stupid.... (Author Unknown but the sentiment is )

Who Caused the Economic Slump?

Democrats keep telling us it was Bush because it started during his administration. But it wasn’t. It started in 1976 when a DEMOCRAT administration passed a law called, “Community Reinvestment Act,” which required lenders to loan money to people REGARDLESS of their ability to repay. A “recipe for economic disaster” if I ever saw one. In Ayn Rand’s prophetic “Atlas Shrugged,” a similar law is what started the “strike of the achievers/producers” led by John Galt. The biggest banker in the nation “zeroed out” his books and disappeared, starting a run of similar people when they had had enough of the “looters” looting their earnings to support the “moochers” of society. This was done deliberately to create a condition the Democrats could use at will to create economic disaster, which would create a condition where Democrats could take advantage of it to get elected to office. They created Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to “buy up” all those “toxic loans” and “keep the lid on” until they needed to use it. They “tripped the switch” just before the 2008 elections by effectively “shutting down” Fannie and Freddie” for a time, thus CREATING the economic disaster (during a Republican administration) they needed to get Democrats elected. It worked like a charm. Democrats were elected in droves, from President Obama right on down.

Then they refinanced Fannie and Freddie with all the money they ever wanted to “put the lid back on” while Democrats were in office. Unfortunately, it got out of control and “woke a sleeping giant.” America began to realize what was happening and defeated many Democrats in the 2010 elections, destroying their complete control of all three branches of government. We’ll complete the job in 2012 (I hope) and get rid of Obama and as many other socialists/Democrats as possible. I hope it happens that way, and I’m really tired of repeating this story over and over again, but people don’t seem to be paying attention. Bush tried 12 TIMES to “investigate” Fannie and Freddie, but his efforts were repulsed by the very Democrats who CREATED these monsters, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. They’re still trying to blame the recession on Bush because it began at the end of his administration after YEARS of the longest boom period in recent history, created by (Republican) Reagan’s lowering of the basic tax rate which almost DOUBLED the “tax take” by INCREASING the number of people PAYING taxes by giving them INCENTIVE to make more money and not try as hard to avoid paying those sky-high taxes. You don’t improve the economy by RAISING taxes. That’s a simple economic act, but Obama and his thugs aren’t smart enough to know that. (Just common sense)

UN Wants to Tax Us

That’s always been the problem with the United Nations. They have no real power because they haven’t the power to tax their members. They dearly want that power, and have been working tirelessly to attain it. Now they’re trying to get taxing power to “fight climate change and the dilemma of broken promises by member countries.” First of all, “climate change” is IMAGINARY,” and “broken promises by member nations” is, too. Other nations know what the UN thinks is foolish and any promises made to forestall their action is proper. There is NO reason to give the UN taxing power because it is an organization run by the DICTATORS of the world. If we allow them to tax us, there’s nothing they can’t do to us down the road, including nullifying our Constitution, which is the only bulwark against them so far. (Reuters)
