The New THOMA$ REPORT on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 12:43:37 PM
The feds are prosecuting Penn state officials for doing what THEY do on a regular basis: hide corruption to prevent bad publicity. What’s the difference between what Penn state did and what they do in numerous cases that finally come to light and are found to be a case of “keeping it quiet” to prevent bad publicity? Or how about the many things they “keep quiet” so people won’t “panic?” Do they think THEY are better at HANDLING things than the “people?” that “the people” just can’t HANDLE things they handle on a regular basis? Keeping things “under the table” is a well-known ploy of the government. So well known, in fact, it’s a common movie story device. And they’re prosecuting university officials for doing the same thing. For shame! All that does is delay the bad publicity when the story DOES come out. (
