Worst President Ever

Many people say Bush (the younger) was the worst president we have ever had. I disagree. I have my own problems with Bush, chief among them is that disaster of a “Part D” Medicare where they pay for SOME of senior citizen’s medicine costs until they get to that silly “donut hole (whoever invented that deserves the “stupid award.”).” But otherwise I don’t think he was all that bad. My pick for that title is Barack Obama, who has run us so far in debt we’ll never get out, while maintaining an 8% unemployment rate for YEARS and seeing to it many people lose EVERYTHING while moving us ever more quickly toward socialism. Second on that list is Bill Clinton, who is best known for not being able to keep it in his pants; while third is Jimmy Carter, who is best known for the “Misery Index” that had to be invented to measure the “misery” during his administration. (Just common sense)

Absurdity After Absurdity

This article, by Skip McClure, tells it like it is. If Obama is re-elected, what will there be to stop him from making this into a soviet-style socialist country in the next four years? The law? The Constitution? Neither have even slowed him down in his first term while he institutes policies that will enslave us all. I’m old enough I won’t be around for most of it (thank God), but many of you will be around for a lot of it. Look at the description of “jack-booted thugs” running around killing and imprisoning people and think it can’t happen here. But that’s wrong: it has ALREADY happened here when a local sheriff wanted a piece of land and phonied-up a dawn raid on a man’s home and shot him to death when he appeared with a gun—which is his right in his own home. Then they negotiated with his widow to buy the property at a bargain price. You think it can’t happen here? Think again! (Patriot Action Network)

Iran: "Israel's Existence An Insult"

That’s what the Iranian president has said. He is no doubt echoing one of his Imams, but I have this to say to him: “Ahmadinijerk, YOU and all like you are an insult to Jews AND all humanity. There is no reason for you and your ilk to say such things about Israel and Jewish people. You SAY they have hurt your people, but only in RETALIATION for the things you have done to them. If Iran was removed from the face of the Earth, nobody would be sorry. Not me, not other Americans, and not anyone else. Somebody needs to remove IRAN from the face of the Earth. Along with every Islamic extremist terrorist in existence. Not because they are Muslims. Because they are hateful murderers of innocent people. (Yahoo News)

Throwing Out the Baby With the Bath Water

The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) has spoken. Not only does Penn State have to take down the statue of its winningest coach ever, and pay a $60 million dollar fine, they’re “vacating” 14 years of winnings, which penalizes him, sure. But it also penalizes all the people ever involved in Penn State sports. People who did not have anything to do with Sandusky's actions. This is not fair to them. But try and get these sports bureaucrats to hear that. The players and other coaches didn’t participate in Jerry Sandusky’s actions, so why punish them? This is a typical action of a group of people who don’t know what they’re doing, but are running things. This is “incompetence writ large.” (Mail.com)
