The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) has spoken. Not only does Penn State have to take down the statue of its winningest coach ever, and pay a $60 million dollar fine, they’re “vacating” 14 years of winnings, which penalizes him, sure. But it also penalizes all the people ever involved in Penn State sports. People who did not have anything to do with Sandusky's actions. This is not fair to them. But try and get these sports bureaucrats to hear that. The players and other coaches didn’t participate in Jerry Sandusky’s actions, so why punish them? This is a typical action of a group of people who don’t know what they’re doing, but are running things. This is “incompetence writ large.” (
