Bob Woodward was responsible for the complete DESTRUCTION of a Republican president, over a small matter. Nixon KNEW about the break-in at the Democrat Party HQ. Woodward and Carl Bernstein (who has since mostly disappeared from public notice) proved his (Nixon’s) complicity and forced his resignation. It was a monumental accomplishment for Woodward and resulted in his rapid climb to the top at his newspaper. Bernstein not so much, He wrote a few books (some with Woodward) and did some less important reporting, but still didn’t benefit from Watergate as much as Woodward did. But now it’s all over for Woodward, according to the youngsters in the liberal media, because he’s “too old” (Young people always think they know it all, but they haven't been alive long enough to know anywhere near as much as their betters; also known as their seniors). It’s time to “drop him under the bus.” I predict, however, that Woodward isn’t “finished.” Obama had better be careful. There’s enough in his past (and present) for Woodward to use to bring him down, just as he did Nixon. The liberal news media is already trying to bring Woodward down, but I predict they won’t be successful. He’s still too good at his job; old or not. Being old does not necessarily mean senility. I’m old, but I’m not senile (Let’s see. What was I talking About?). (
