Sarah Palin Sex scandal!

That's the headline in the "supermarket tabloid" Globe, accompanied by a photoshopped picture of Sarah, supposedly wearing a skimpy swimsuit, and another with her head photoshopped onto the body of a leggy, sexy trampy-looking girl standing at a bar. They DO admit those photos are fake, but running this story gives them the excuse to run them in the first place and sell copies because of them. They were not so labeled on the cover. The rest of the story is a "rehash" of all the tired, old liberal attacks including the one about her supposedly actually being the mother of her daughter's child with the intimation that her youngest IS her daughter's child. They also give the "bare bones" about "troopergate," not saying a word about the man she actually DID fire being insubordinate. In a companion article they brought up 15 things they labeled as "truths," but which were mostly the rumor and innuendo being splashed over the media by the Democrats. Not a scintilla of provable truth anywhere. They even told a story about her "accompanying" her adult son to a tattoo parlor while he was "inked," even suggesting he get one with her name. What does THAT have to do with anything? They sure are trying hard! (Globe, 9/29)

California Copyrights Its Laws

Do you know why? So it can sell the right to download them and make lots of money from those who HAVE TO download them. California is one of the most liberal governments in the country. Liberals think profit is a "dirty word." Why then, are they breaking the law to make a profit? It is now making millions a year doing this; selling what SHOULD be the property of its citizens. The last I heard ANY government cannot copyright its papers. They are the PROPERTY of its citizens. So to copyright its laws is a violation of the law. But California doesn't care. It violates laws every day. Even its OWN laws. So it's not worried about violating the Constitution or federal law. (Common Sense)

Democrats Committing A Crime

Apparently Democrat supporters don't mind committing a federal crime in order to hurt a woman who has "turned them upside down" in the presidential race. That tells me they're frightened. They're so afraid of Sarah Palin and what she represents, they'll do ANYTHING, even commit federal crimes, to hurt her. But they can't "hurt her" because she isn't "hurtable." She has done nothing wrong and isn't afraid to go right to the American people to correct their lies. She doesn't just "keep her mouth shut" and "take it" as many Republicans do. When they take Sarah on, they don't know what they're up against. She'll "slap 'em down" fast, as she did her opponents in Alaska. (News Max)

Government "Programs" Always Grow

Whenever politicians create a "government program" to give away taxpayer money, they always tell us how LITTLE it will cost. They did it when they instituted the federal income tax to finance all their "programs" by saying the tax would NEVER be more than 3% and ONLY THE RICH would have to pay it. Then, at one time, the top rate at which you had to pay federal income tax was 72% (which Reagan lowered significantly), and today they're auditing waitresses for their TIPS! This is how they work. Fool the gullible into thinking this "program" would always be small, while it grows to amazing size in a few years, before we realize they're taking more and more money out of the pockets of the working man/woman to put it into the pockets of those who will NOT work. I don't mind helping people who CANNOT work, but I resent having to help able-bodied people who REFUSE to work and stand around on street corners smoking, drinking, taking drugs, and killing each other (on MY money).  "Section 8," a "program" to "help" pay the mortgage for those who can't afford it is such a "program." "Five years ago, Section 8 consumed 36 percent of HUD's budget; today, it absorbs more than half" (50%!). It will continue to "eat up" an ever larger percentage of that budget and the bureaucrats will be demanding an ever-growing budget in the coming years. It's like "the camel's nose in the tent." The camel asks the Arab if he can put his nose in the tent for warmth and the Arab agrees. In the morning, the Arab is shivering OUTSIDE the tent and the camel is fully WITHIN the tent. (Café Hayek)

Stealing A Name

Have you seen the  web site of the "National Socialist Green Party?" Talk about STEALING many liberal names and trying to convince people you're a "libertarian" who is an "environmentalist!" Then they think REAL Libertarianism is like this. Then there's the "Libertarian SOCIALISTS!" I can't think of anything further from Libertarianism than SOCIALISM! Yet they want people to believe it, and even have a Wikipedia page! And some people BELIEVE this! Boy, talk about losing ALL confidence in Wikipedia! I didn't have much to begin with, since people are allowed to "edit" their pages, but this tears it. (National Socialist Green Party) (Libertarian Socialists)

Why the Financial Crisis?

Is is because of stupid policies by the Republicans who have been "in charge" (at least of the White House) for a number of years? Or is it the result of stupid policies by the liberals and Democrats who preceded them? The liberals blame the Republicans, but they forget the whole thing started when Bill Clinton (liberal personified) pushed the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 on them. "We are all talking about subprime loans and the havoc they've wreaked on the economy, but no one is talking about why banks give out these loans -- THEY ARE REQUIRED TO BY LAW! Since the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, Congress REQUIRES banks to offer loans to minorities in low-income areas, even if the clients can't make down payments, don't have good credit histories, or even employment histories [Emphasis mine.-RT]." This is a law right out of "Atlas Shrugged," which REQUIRES banks to loan money they KNOW won't be paid back because the people to whom they are REQUIRED to loan money CANNOT repay the loan. This is a "recipe for disaster," and liberals (Democrats) can't see it. If we keep the Democrats "in charge" in Congress, and ESPECIALLY if we elect Democrat Obama (who is a SOCIALIST), we're only going to see "more of the same." Not the "change" Obama is promising. He/She Voted With George Bush!

That seems to be the "mantra" in politics today, on all levels, as if there were something wrong with that. They can't seem to come up with anything else against their opponents, so they scream "He/she voted with George Bush." But nobody seems to be able to tell us what terrible things they voted FOR with George Bush. Frankly, if they can't come up with something better than that, all Democrat candidates, starting with Obama, are in "big trouble." And they can't. I Googled that phrase and got 10,000 "hits." One hit told me a lot about the ignorant thinking on the part of the liberals. It was entitled, "Sarah Palin Naked!" and included this paragraph: "I realized three things tonight. For one, if you are a McCain/Palin/Bush voter, you and I do not have a difference of opinion. We have a difference in brain power. Two, she really is as ignorant as I feared. And, three, she really is kinda hot. Basically, I want to have sex with her on my Barack Obama sheets while my wife reads aloud from the Constitution. (My wife is cool with this if I promise to 'first wipe off Palin's tranny makeup.' I married well.)." He's right; we DO have a "difference in brain power." He's stupid and the only place he ought to be allowed to write is in his own diary. Nobody else with any intelligence is interested in his blatherings. As far as her "being hot," he's right there, too. But what any of that has to do with her ability to be vice president, I fail to see. As to her being a "tranny," that's a gratuitious insult to a fine woman. His reference to his "Obama sheets" is just further evidence of his ignorance. He says she's ignorant, but he's not smart enough to know. (Michael Seitzman/Huffington Post)

Sarah Palin's E-Mails

So Sarah Palin’s “pirated” e-mails show that she has used her own personal e-mail account to do state business. So what? Is that illegal? No. So why are the Democrats so upset over it? The reason is that they’re “throwing it against the wall and hoping it’ll stick.” It won’t, as none of their other lies about her have “stuck” because she has never done anything wrong, no matter how much money Obama’s spies spend in Alaska trying to find “dirt” on her. Googling “Sarah Palin’s e-mails” got 300,000 “hits.” Is NOTHING private any more? Damn! (Michelle Malkin)

What the Hell is He Smoking?

Obama vice president pick Joe Biden says the “definition of patriotism” is being willing to pay higher taxes! How stupid IS this man? Why should they give their money to politicians to squander when they can use it to make more money and more jobs for many? Does he really think he can “redefine” words such as “patriotism?” Patriotism is loving your country and not being willing to do things that would hurt it. That definition does NOT describe Obama OR Biden; and he wants to be VICE PRESIDENT of it? How stupid is that? Not a day goes by, it seems, without Biden, Obama, or another politician making another stupid statement. Apparently they just can’t understand that allowing the rich, who invest in projects that CREATE jobs and PROFITS, actually creates more taxable income! I think I’m going to start collecting these stupid statements for a new book called, Stupidities by Politicians.” The only problem is, to do that, I have to LISTEN to Democrats, as well as Republicans. The "AIG Bailout"

The government has "stepped in" again with an $84 billion dollars of YOUR tax money to "bail out" an insurance company that, under their (the government's) "encouragement," made many loans to people who could not afford to repay them. A "recipe for disaster" FOSTERED by the government, and which has CAUSED all the "failures" of large companies who likewise made these "risky" loans. You can bet that now the GOVERNMENT, which CAUSED the problem, is now "in charge" of AIG, there will be some bureaucrat assigned to "keep track" of what they're doing from now on. And if the competence of those "government inspectors" is like it has always been, we'll need yet another "bail-out" in the future because of THEIR mistakes. (Of course, they'll go home rich, as most bureaucrats do). Part of the deal is the government now owns 74% of AIG and has the right to remove senior management. You can bet they will. (Yahoo News)

"Runaway Capitalism!"

Horrors! Two little girls in Clayton, California, (The "People's Republic of California) opened a little veggie stand, selling zuccinis and melons until the cops closed them up. The cops were afraid they'd "grow" and start selling other things. Capitalism of the "worst kind!" Starting small and growing! Can't have that, especially since they didn't ask permission from the city bureaucrats. The girls have circulated a petition to get their veggie stand reopened, but they're soon going to find how good bureaucrats are at ignoring citizens. (Common Sense)

The REAL Sarah Palin

Most people don't know anything about Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who is also governor of Alaska. But they talk as if they did, while simply mouthing the same tired, old generalities spouted by the Obama campaign. They "don't pay attention to politics" until a few months before an election when the lies are flying and they THINK they know what's going on. I'd urge all of them to read this book about her, not written by a Democrat operative. She has turned this election upside down and scared the hell out of Democrats; hence, their panicked efforts to destroy her with every lie they can think of. Many people talk about the possibility of John McCain dying in office. I even heard one man talking about McCain "having a heart attack with his finger on the nuclear button!" What ignorance! Nobody "has his finger on the nuclear button" until the box that controls it is opened under tight controls. In any case, I'd much rather have Sarah "waiting in the wings" than Joe Biden. Stealing From Constituents

Governments, all over the United States are stealing land from their constituents with alacrity. They get an offer from a "big box" store that will mean a higher "tax base," and they "condemn" the property, "take" it, and sell it at a low price to the "big box" store. They CLAIM that a "higher tax base" is a good reason for the "taking." It's not. Eminent Domain is intended for such things ar highway right-of-way when residents refuse to sell. It wasn't intended to increase the town's "tax base." that's patent theft, and the "lawmakers" make it easy for this theft to occur by making laws to allow it. Recently, in California (not surprising, since liberal Democrats run things there), they did it: "In a recent California election, two alleged property-protection measures were on the ballot. Proposition 98 was the real deal. Proposition 99 was the fake. Unfortunately, the phony measure was the one that passed. It was the measure that had by far the most advertising, being bankrolled (you guessed it) by land-grabbing special interests." That's how it is done. And if you're the victim, there's not a whole lot you can do about it--and it's spreading across the land, as many things that originate (good or bad) do in California. (Common Sense)

Obama's "Saudi Connection"

"New evidence has emerged that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was closely associated as early as age 25 to a key adviser to a Saudi billionaire who had mentored the founding members of the Black Panthers." Is THIS the man that (so far) half the country wants to make our president? I know stuff like this does come out during an election campaign. But this is more than "election contributions." It's like the Chinese millionaire who bankrolled Bill Clinton's "rise to power" and is probably STILL bankrolling him and his wife. they'll either ignore it and hope it goes away or just accuse those telling the sroty of being liars (they know all about lying). But I think this is something that merits a LOT more investigation before we get a president whose "mentor" is a "big-time Muslim."  I won’t even MENTION his “Freudian slip” on the George Stephanopolous show about his “Muslim faith” which George speedily corrected) Sounds fishy to me.  (News Max)

Environmental Dictatorship

"On July 11, 2008, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking—the outline of a national plan to regulate the emissions of carbon dioxide, a “pollutant” according to the U.S. Supreme Court. The EPA admits openly that, under this plan, the entire nation is in non-compliance, and will have to be controlled in minute detail by a maze of bureaucratic rules and procedures. The EPA has invited public comment on this plan, to which the speaker has replied with six reasons to reject these proposals categorically." Carbon dioxide is NOT a "pollutant." Every time we exhale, we breathe out carbon dioxide and plants breathe it IN, then use it to create OXYGEN, which is NECESSARY to our LIVES! How they expect to make us believe that carbon dioxide is a "pollutant," I don't know. I guess they just think we're all stupid. Maybe they're right. Only the word is "ignorant." Way too many of us are ignorant because they "don't pay attention to politics." So they just don't KNOW they're lying to us. AlGore is simply looking to be America's dictator after the EPA makes their "regulations" for ALL AMERICA. (Just common sense)
